Reasonable day so far, only have one lesson today and that's this afternoon. Just learnt the bassline to Green Day Longview (on electric guitar so an octave higher than it normally is).

Such a nice day today. I managed to buy this:

and downloaded that Japanese song from the Windows 8 Commercial (Satisfaction by Scandal), since I was really looking for it.

I managed to get out and come home before that heavy downpour started.

Speech went great yesterday. Got home and my dad gave me a rather large kit full of Blue Point sockets and ratchets. :D

Pretty good, left Stuttgart this morning after visiting the Porsche museum yesterday, drove through the Moselle Valley and made my way to the green hell. Watched some cars (458, Vanquish, 911, Ford GT among others practicing for tomorrow's race) and now sat in my hotel room next door to the Nurburg castle chilling with a few beers before tomorrow's 4 hour endurance race followed by a scoot around the old course in my own car.

Actually pretty good is a bit of a bloody understatement, I'm absolutely having the day of my life (hope my gf never reads this) and tomorrow will be even better.

Went for my Chemistry exam in the morning, not great but I don't like that subject anyways.

Went to the dump and FINALLY found out how much the truck weighs, about 7,000lbs with nobody in it.

And went to see about a summer job at a hybrid turkey farm. My chances seem very good about being hired.

What type of truck?

2007 Chevy 2500HD Duramax

It was 3350kg on the scale, so times 2.2=7370lbs. Remove the 370 Dad, me, and a few bike tires.

I'm surprised it weighs that much, a lot of the newer trucks are pretty light. The old F250 we have weighs in at around 7,400 with the plow and custom bumpers and other junk off it. Rolled off the showroom floor at 6,600. Throw the big tires and other junk in with it and I'd bet it's seen days at almost 8,000lbs.

My day has been great! :) Just came back from a vacation over at my favorite beach. Had an awesome time there and got to see and do a lot of things. :) I even went to a place that still sells PS1 games and many other old and new games and consoles! It was awesome! :D

Glad to back. :)

A certain family member who stuck their nose in places it shouldn't be opened their giant damn mouth about my car transmission possibly acting up (which I can't even come close to confirming right now) and because she knows the guy who rebuilt it, he wants me to tear into it tomorrow (drop the fluid and valve body), which I sure wasn't planning on doing as my weekend was already full up with other work that needs to be done. So freakin angry right now.

I'm guessing that it's because of all the safety stuff they have to put on cars nowadays. And it might just be the styling but the 07 looks like a much beefier truck than the 06.

Because he cut me a huge discount I did my own tear down and installation, which was a nightmare and would have rather paid full price if I had known it was going to be that bad. Typical tear down should have been five hours, and I've done plenty of transmissions before, but this monster took me ten. Just dropping the pan requires removal of a cross member and exhaust down tube. Well, that's what my warranty reflects, a bare transmission, no labor, so in order for him to even look at it I need to determine if it needs to be removed again, and if it does I have to do that. There's nothing wrong with the operation of the transmission, all I mentioned was that the fluid looked a little too dirty on the dip stick than it should be at 2000 miles. So she ran her mouth to him and now he wants to know by monday if he needs to schedule it in his shop and he wants me to see if any material is in the fluid and inspect the valve body. I was planning on doing this at 10,000 miles (while keeping an eye on the condition of the ATF), not tomorrow. And since this guy has me over a barrel on our agreement, I really don't want to push his buttons. Take it from me, deals with friends and family members can turn into a hassle in no time flat.

Got a massage. Made me lay on the edge of the bed for massage. Pass out from relaxation from massage. Roll over, where'd the bed go? I'm sitting on the floor and my head hurts. Ouch.

Luckily I have a big huge cauldron head. Glad it didn't break the nightstand.

Cauldron head?

My day was just the same as all of my other ones. Just hanging around the house on the computer and sleeping. League of Legends has been passing time for me. I'm mainly waiting for my BMW, and bike to get fixed. Been dropping money on the wrong things.

Probably. Lot of plsatic junk on the new stuff too though.

Ah I see. Hope your plans don't interfere too much.

Watched a 4 hour endurance race at the Ring, have no idea who won as the announcements were all in German and there was dozens of cars. It all got a bit confusing. Afterwards I then took my MX-5 round the Nordschleife and did two unbelievably memorable laps, it was an absolute blast. Got overtaken by a number of 911's that made me feel like I was stood still at times. Got to say this game was brilliant preparation as I've done loads of laps of that circuit on it and I wouldn't have been able to push as much if I hadn't.

Brilliant, brilliant day and one I won't ever forget :D:D

Been watching Le Mans all day (plan on watching all night as well). Still a little sad that Allan Simonsen died, but thats life you know?

I'm listening to Nickelback right now. Yes, that's how bad I feel.

Yesterday turned from absolutely superb to the worst nightmare I've ever had.

I'm a selfish asshole and I've hurt somebody I love.

Woke up today around 10 am... I just didn't want to get out of my bed, I wanted to stay there until I rot. Had to do stuff for school though, so forced myself to do that and then just sat there staring at the sky, just feeling guilt. I don't know how long this'll last, but I think I'd deserve it if it was forever.

God damn I hate myself sometimes. :yuck:

Day has been tiring, spent the whole day watching Le Mans. I need to get some sleep after being awake for more than 35 hours already. Yikes!

I've been watching Le Mans for most of today too. I tried to stay awake, and since I passed out around 4 am this morning, and woke up again around 9.30 am, I'm now awfully tired :P.

Moving for the third straight day.

And no, stuff from a four bedroom house will not fit into a three stall garage. :irked:

Was meant to go to school... Still really sick. :grumpy: Looks like I will have to miss some music assessments. :grumpy: Yesterday was full of Le Mans greatness, and I posted in the Le Mans thread 25 times over the course of the race, which is a record for me in recent times. For example my 25 posts prior to Le mans took 40 days to post. But today I just have nothing I can do, too sick...

Had another great day, went to the baseball game today, Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics, along with my uncle, and little sister..... so much better at the stadium than on TV.

I would definitely go again.

Did the Mariners win?
