So, how was your day?

Kind of disappointing - my uncle's truck has some problem with the starter (I believe it is, when the key is turned to turn on truck, it sounds as it wants to start but it doesn't start - even with a new battery, my uncle thought it was problem at first) about 2 days ago - mechanic called today saying it was ready to be picked up, when we got there (I was the driver for the 2nd vehicle) the truck got the same problem again.

So back home without the truck - with only 1 car in the family its always frustrating.

It was OK, other than the fact that the weather was fickle. I almost typed something else ;). While I was going home from picking up pizza for my family and I to eat, I almost ran over this little guy:

I had zoomed in from my iPhone and retook it using that capture photo thing and made it larger since it looked far away and wasn't easy to see. It was so cute. I think it squeaked or something while it was crossing the street. I wanted to keep it, but I wasn't sure. I hope he didn't die trying to cross the street again.

I like that turtle! Yesterday as I was biking with a friend down a narrow trail, my friend, who was leading, came across a turtle and almost ran him over. Would have been sad of that happened.

Today was just okay. It stormed which I liked, and learned to play a new song on the drums, and had a good work out. But something about it was lacking. It just felt weird and nothing special happened, I sort of felt like I was alive just to pass time, if that makes sense. Does that happen to anyone else?

Ooh, yikes. That wouldn't be very pleasant. That happens to me, too. At least I don't feel alone now .

Yay, I'm not sick anymore! :D This calls for a celebration... ... But since I'm cheap, and having a celebration of getting better is a pointless action anyway, I just returned to playing GTR2 like I would have done (over the last 2 weeks) if I hadn't been sick. Luckily all my music performances have been rescheduled so they aren't doomed to never happening. Today I've just played GTR2 and continued listening to Unisonic (such good and positive sounding music, well until Michael Kiske writes one of the songs, but it's still awesome).

Well at least my sickness resulted in two new written songs, and my new ability to play really intense sounding guitar solo's (but not actually difficult, just the same finger pattern doing a few times and then moving down a note or two in a scale). It's quite fast though, I started off by doing the really fast part of Dave Murray's guitar solo in "The Number of the Beast." Well until I broke the string. :banghead:

Thats a hell of a guitar solo to play. I've pretty much mastered that whole song though. I love playing there songs, everything is so technical and precise it's amazing taht they can still produce these solos live in almost studio form 35+ years later.Thats one of the things I like about Maiden, they can almost reproduce studio solos (and you can obviously tell its live, they hate being overdubbed) perfectly.

If you want a really fun song to play, learn "Caught Somwhere in Time". The whole song is simple and straight forward and the solos are so wacky I just imrpovise and they still sound good.

You are 100% right. Iron Maiden is fun to play, I think it's a matter of listening to a song with such good guitarist, and then when you learn to play the songs, it gives a large sense of smug joy. I'm going to learn Caught Somewhere in Time (just dled a tab) and when I've learned it, I'm going to try and learn Starblind.

Supposed to go to D-Mack rally with a friend. He bailed at last minute- phoned me at 8:45am, 15 minutes before I was supposed to meet him.

I wouldn't mind if he didn't do this often, but his excuses are worse and worse "I can't go because the car has a loose ECU and won't start" when I asked "Why not just plug it back in" he replied "Can't. Might break the engine."

Yeah...

After a potentially HUGE hangup, I was able to move into my new house yesterday and finally sleep in my own bed for the first time in a week. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with how yesterday went. :D

So far pointless. Drove to the city in the search for materials and one shop had only extra-large sheets of MDF that no way will fit in my car, the electronics shop didn't have the microswitches that I needed, another hardware shop wasn't even there :/. There was so many people in the mall that I didn't even bothered to look for a free parking spot. So I came back after 2 hours with a brand new 0.20$ ruler and 2 carpenter pencils. YAY.

Nothing I tried to do yesterday worked out, yet I still got a lot done, so I guess it's a wash. Average day. Today is getting annoying, people are trying to pull me into a family feud, so I'm gonna disappear and keep to myself.

My day was awesome until I realized I had a bunch of bugs in my room that seemed to be attacking me. The Spiderwebs are starting to develop in the corners, and one gnat flew to the top my ceiling and came flying at me like a Rakk in Borderlands, only to hit me on my forehead and fall into my drink. I have to clean my room out but I will do that in the morning.

Congrats, TB. 👍

My 'long' weekend is mayhem so far . . . and today and tomorrow are going to practically kill me. I'm hoping to survive, though . . . because . . . yay!! I'm going to have the place to myself for a whole month - the rest of the family are going to be out of Province visiting relatives all over the countryside.

Meanwhile, I get to stay a home (because of work commitments) and do whatever I want. With no domestic pressures. I can hang out in the nude, eat junk food, drink and smoke all kinds of crap . . . MG! I need to make a list of 'stuff to do.'

Yesh.

Mwahahahahaha......hahaha.......ha!

It's going good so far. Good Burger is on! This movie brings such nostalgia. Now The Pacifier is on! How better can this day get? I got premium for some reason. I really don't think I deserved it, but I'm thankful to who gave it to me. Thank you if you are reading this :). I also had a swim and took a shower. Now I'm gonna eat some burgers and get fat .

He has it worse than me. I dont see why you have to mention me. :indiff:

Well, I'd be extremely pissed off If I'd lost that much money in a day :ill:

On the other hand, very early today, and technically part from yesterday, I was in the graduation party of one of my best friend. :) I'm very proud of him. On the downside, he becomes a jerk once he drinks a little bit too much, and he didn't let us go until 5:00am... Still, a very good party, and very happy for him :dopey:

Mwahahahahaha......hahaha.......ha!

Please, do keep us updated on your activities. 👍 :sly:

I'm going to Italy for the next five days! Therefore, my day was filled with anticipation.
It's the last trip me and my classmates are going to have together, so we're going to make it a good one. In just 1 hour, we'll all be in the bus. So yeah, I'm stoked, but on the other hand, I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, for I don't want to be disappointed.
Either way, it's going to be memorable. :)

Caught Somewhere in Time is fast paced but its stupid easy to learn excluding the solos obviously. Starblinds main riff and the odd harmony here and there is easy to play but I haven't really tried to learn the whole song yet.

Work was fun, had some nice duets with a co-worker while making vegetable trays.

I got back into Naval Ops: Commander, (An old PS2 RTS ship game.) it's insanely fun, but I gotta stop playing it 'till 3 in the morning.

Sunday was great - taught my daughter how to ride a bike. She picked it up in a day! Chuffed. :D
