So, how was your day?

Pretty lame day. I felt like I just wasted time playing League of Legends all day which I didn't want to but had no choice. Now I'm sitting up listening to this artist Christine Hoberg, and trying to think. Clicking random bookmarks is the only thing my mind is capable of doing as of now. (3:35AM)

A friend finally got his RM125 back from the shop, so we went riding for a bit in the the dark at his place last night.
After riding a bike that actually handles properly, I'm seriously looking into swapping the Honda with a KTM.

Found a really nice 200EXC an hour away, hopefully I can go down and look at it tonight.

Feels like the same old life cycle... After one good day, every other day will follow up in the most awful of ways... Enjoying GT6 yesterday, but now...today, my car broke down again, parents called me up after hearing about my car breaking down only to tell me "they hope I stay where I'm stranded and die," then ending up talking trash about me to my uncle who joins in on the fun to tell me how terrible I am at everything in life. And finally...just got myself "ban - ned" from having dinner.
Always feels like this cycle repeats of one good day followed by at least a month or week of 🤬. Getting really sick of my life...
apologies, GTPlanet on the phone is being a huge pain in the ass right now but i hope this is somewhat readable

especially a family member. That's called bullying.

What the actual 🤬? Surely there was a reason for their behavior, no? Even if they were raging like crazy, that's not a way to treat someone

Just meh. I got a random FB message from my ex saying that she wishes her old body back. I gave her a few tips and told her to go to sleep. I am at school listening to Tool and other random genres.

It was awesome.

Had an eventful 4 hour shift at work (card machines stopped working, gypo fight outside...), got my first car and I'm feeling good for once :)

Dying of anxiety actually...
I was supposed to get my results from my final exam on Monday, but then the date was changed to Wednesday... so that. Besides that, enjoying GT6 and The Last of Us. And my new Sony Alpha 77 :)

It is indeed readable so no need to apologize. 👍

My parents have always hated me for being "different" than their ideals of the perfect son... Always considering me as the "rebel" despite the fact that all it is that their views are pretty much stuck in the past. (We're Vietnamese...so it goes with the part of the stereotypical high expectation parents and they seem to be stuck in the war...of which was very much a part of their lives, but they never let it go.) They hate cars, I love cars. They think friends are only good for getting work done whilst I enjoy hanging out with them and doing what we enjoy most. (Working on and driving cars) I've always been the "disappointment" and the "rebel."

My day has been okey so far, had to exchange my defective copy of GT6 today since my PS3 wouldn't read it 50% of the time. Got another copy and turns out it is also defective. Not sure what to do. :indiff:

Feeling extremely anxious right now and I don't know why. :ouch: Not sure if it is GT6 or something else.....

Went to class thinking the final was today, sat in the room for 30 minutes and wondered why the teacher wasn't there 10 minutes before start. I look at the syllabus and it says it's on Thursday. I walked home, read some articles, and went to sleep. Here I am, doing nothing. I stayed up until 2am studying but that's cool.

Came in to work from my chiropractor appointment this morning to see an email from my boss telling me that I need to schedule "personal issues" outside work time. (impossible) Apparently my health means diddly squat to my employers. He never had an issue with it when I was going 2-3 times a week, but now that I am going twice a month and am less than an hour late to work (and I make up that time by taking a shorter lunch) it's a problem now.

Man, your company is constantly giving you sh**, isn't it?

My day's been alright so far, got some good grades at school so I'm satisfied. Also sorted out some financial stuff today, so that's cool, too. Going to the movies later with lots of people from school, and then grabbing a bite to eat with some of them. Should be good.

I landed a job as a flight attendant on our local seaplane airline! Very excited about it, as this is going to be my new office! :D

It's basically switched my life path in one day, I had no intentions of becoming a flight attendant prior to this, I guess now it's one step closer to becoming a pilot!

It sure is awesome! I'm still doing my training though, they told the other candidates and me to aim for January 10th to get online, will defo post some pics in the General Airplane Thread :dopey:

@zedextreme8177 I can only say one thing:

Well done and congratulations.

I made a mistake that I'm probably never going to make again.

We have new roll-down shutters installed today. I called my father in the hospital and he said that he wanted to see it, which isn't possible because the hospital is 55km away. So I suggested to take a photo and show him when I'm at the hospital visiting him.

One of the new shutters is at the back door. The switch is on the inside and because I opted for a non wireless system, you can only open or close the shutters from the inside. You already guess what happened......... .

What do you think happened next? I'll explain later...

Explanation:

Because my father wanted photos, I closed the shutters, including the one of the back door. I managed to get outside after pushing the switch to close the shutters. Once outside, the shutters weren't completely closed yet, I realised that I was locking myself outside. But it was too late, I couldn't stop the shutters from closing. Took the photo of the closed shutters and started to think how to get back inside.

It was cold outside. My coat, shoes, car keys, everthing were still inside which was a problem. I tried to enter my house through the trapdoor, which wasn't possible. So I decided to ride, with my father's moped, to the wholesale/store (they make the shutters and install them) to ask how to open the shutters manually. It was a 9 km (5.7 miles) ride to the store and 9km back. I was frozen, especially my right hand, when I arrived.

Luckily there was a solution but I had to dismantle the upper part of the shutters where the axle and motor is located to be able to open it manually. The technician/seller explained what I had to do exactly, which I did and voilà, I got back inside.

I went to the gym, had a good workout and after working out, I started talking to a friend who asked if I was interested to get a drink (go to a cafe!), which we did. He is going through a nasty divorce and needed a someone to lend him an ear (is this correct?), which I did.

It was overall a nice day!

:)

^ Wait, a nice day involves getting locked out of your own house? :P Well, I guess that can make for a good day provided you get back in, which you did (eventually) do.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Well, anyway. On Wednesday it was my birthday, which didn't result in my copy of GT6 or my headset arriving, so that was irritating. So I remained bored, so much so that I went outside and helped my sister rip a lot of weeds out of the garden outside the bedroom windows. Which is working wonders with hayfever. Nowhere near as bad now as it was before. And then my dad got home and gave me one of those flash screen touchy phones that don't have proper buttons on them, so that was very kind. Especially considering I'd already organized a gift with my parents that combined Birthday and Christmas (that I also offered to pay a part of with my own money just incase it was too much but was turned away by my parents). Then my best friend arrived for the general birthday madness we have (pretty much the point where mass creepy stupidity begins). So it was quite a good day on reflection.

Then on Thursday it was basically a day where my best friend and me had a jam session (him on drums, me on guitar) where we actually got some decent ideas from. Then when he left, it was a day of still being annoyed that my things hadn't arrived, until the post office sent us a little slip. The slip told us that we have to go to the post office personally to pick up 5 items. They actually aren't allowed to do this, because they were items that we paid them to drive out to us. But they can't be bothered driving out here because we live rural. They've been doing it for years, they just randomly decide they can't be bothered. One of the items turned out to be my headset, so that was good... But GT6 was nowhere to be seen annoyingly.

Then today, after a week of GT6 being out, my copy finally arrived. :D So today is instantly good. My assumption that GT6 would arrive within 2 days (before or after) my birthday turned out to be right.

Edit: And about an hour later, a sheep starts having problems, and it seems to be too late to save it from death.

Had my fourth bad day in a row. School is completely stressful, as is home. Wi-fi signal in my house continues to be bad. However, today was different. My mom had to leave work early and have my dad take her to the hospital. I'm not entirely sure what is going on, but my dad stayed at the hospital all day, and I couldn't be there as I had massive amounts of homework to do. He called me a while ago and said that doctors had found some stuff on an EKG, what ever that is, and that she will have to stay a few days, with them doing a procedure tonight to try to determine what is going on.

@otakukid96 I hope you and your mom get to feeling better soon. It's not fun having a parent go to the hospital for heart-related problems.

Not a bad day for me today overall. Started out fine, then I got really depressed for a few hours and took a long nap (I never take naps...). My grandma went out to dinner with friends from work and I went with her and we had a good time. Started building an app. I was going to do an app with information and statistics and engine sounds on all the major super, sports, and muscle cars etc. but it's near impossible to do with the program I'm using. I'm going to just make an extremely basic app about my Lincoln for practice. Couldn't think of anything else . It started bugging out by saving and then saying it can't save so I decided to call it a night and hope that I didn't have to completely restart tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'm going to the zoo with my family (my family is my mom and grandma) and my grandma's boyfriend and his mom and grandkids. We couldn't have picked a better day, either. We're supposed to get 6" of snow by the time we're there.

Well interesting day. Had my last final. Asked out a girl and got her number. $200 popped up in my bank account randomly. Now it's time to rest.

I think the money is an early Christmas present from my cousins. The tend to do random **** like this to my family. They like to shock us.

Is Eagle Eye a good movie?

Crap. I've been over-thinking and having panic attacks all day, I also have my first day at work later so I'm worried about that also.

Went to the zoo with friends and family friends. That was ok, we got to play with some dolphins. The most fun part was when we drove home, and I "drifted" the Lincoln in the snow a few times. It was so slippery I could get it to slide like a proper drift car (yea you can laugh) with only a little touch of the gas and some steering wheel playing (opposite lock?). Stopping like a baws with no ABS was fun too. Sometimes I wish the weather was always like this .
