Miserable, I'm always getting depressed this time of year but it has been really bad today.... :indiff: I know something is seriously wrong when even weight lifting fails to cheer me up.

Not good. One of my cats just died about an hour ago.

To confess, I'm hardly sad or emotional right now. But if anything, this event just made me hate (yes, hate) my mother even more. My sister and I constantly told her for the past year and a half (since we got him) and said, "You have to take him to the vet." In all that time she could have done so, she didn't due to her irresponsibility and stubbornness. Over the time-frame, he got sick and weaker, and tonight he passed away.

I also want to add, this is the second time we've lost a cat due to her not taking the cat to the veterinarian when we needed to.

It sounds harsh to say about my own mother, but that's really how I feel about her. She's irresponsible and stubborn. And when a 15 year old can take care of responsibilities and priorities better than she can, that's a major problem.

Key words here are responsibility and priority.

Almost lost my cousin/best friend the other day from a failing appendix. Luckily he got help soon enough and is home recovering from surgery. Very scary...

@Slashfan

Good to hear that your cousin is recovering. :)

Anyway, my day. Today my dad decided that for the business there would be a little party as a thank you to the employees. And being the son of the boss, I was there too. My brother took his guitar and we belted out a few songs, mainly Foo Fighters and some Tenacious D songs for a laugh. So that was fun. Then we stopped and the radio was turned on, completely ignorant of what was on it, my ears were caught as George Michael ruthlessly threw his christmas music in my face for two seconds. Most likely laughing maniacally from wherever he is at the moment. It was just two seconds, but it was enough to count. But I went on, my brother played some blues stuff and there was a nice lunch which also served as a sort of dinner. And by the end the workers were starting to get drunk (what do you expect from labourers? :P), so my mum, my sister and me headed home a little bit early, and here I am now. Listening to Edguy to "Wash Away the Poison" of George Michael.

Only 1pm and I'm already pissed at everyone and everything. I try to do something good and then I forget about something I was supposed to do and I get yelled at.

Other than that, today is my last day of school so there's something to look forward to.

Just fantastic day...

Smashed one of my PS3 controllers into the table so all the piece flew everywhere... Oh Fifa, you're getting on my nerves!

Incredibly hectic Christmas Eve turned into an incredibly cruisy Christmas Day.

Was supposed to work until 11:30pm on the Eve but ended up finishing around about 12:30am...but oh well, meant more double time pay for me so it was all good. Many people were confused despite the many signs saying our store closed at 10pm as to why they weren't getting served or let into the store. Christmas Day I ended up having lunch with my mum, Oma and Opa instead of my dad and his partner's family which was far more relaxing, though ended up having to make an impromptu move undercover when the roast was brought out because the flies were all over it immediately #firstworldsummerproblems...

After lunch ended up having a couple of bourbons under the shade of the trees and played around a little with my GoScope (telescoping pole for my GoPros, also no innuendo intended), then headed back home and had a few more bourbons...played some Rock Band and chatted with the GF who unfortunately wasn't in town for Christmas again, but we'll be moving in together in the next few months so we'll hopefully be able to actually spend our first Christmas together.

Crazy Christmas. We went to visit my grandmother (mother's side) to do presents and have lunch with her. We then went to my aunt and uncle's (father's side) house for presents there. Overall, I didn't get very much. I got a Hatsune Miku tee-shirt, $30 in Target gift cards, $45 in Gamestop gift cards, $100 straight up, and a lot of Japanese treats. I then got 2 free computer games from internet strangers, which helped out a lot.

Just hanging around watching shows and movies on Amazon Prime and Netflix. I'm dehydrated and I'm feeling sick :/ These symptoms are horrid. I should be going out with a friend for her birthday later today but I don't know if I can do that.

Good, good. Played some GT6, then went for a ride on my motorbike for about an hour. Watched a few episodes of the X-Files. Played Ratchet and Clank on the PS3, and then went to bed. A really easy and cruisy day for me. :D

Some stuff I ordered came in which is good. Mom got an entirely new set of dinnerware, so I got everything else to use when I move out :D

Certain elder family members have taken over the living room and won't let me play GT6. I would think that after spending $60 to get it as a gift, they'd want me to use it, but I guess I'm just crazy. I know it's not really something to complain about, but it's really the one thing I want to do right now.

Great day today. Lazy day playing on the PS3 all day and then went to the Indianapolis Auto Show where I seen one of my all time dream cars for the first time, the Lexus LFA, and other brand new and redesigned cars. I'll have the pics in the DYSAGT E&S Edition thread when they've uploaded. We then went to my favorite Chinese restaurant and got my favorite meal and I'm happy. :D

Edit: They're up.

Gotta love the cycle of my life. Had a great start hanging out with friends, went out to eat as a group, then for a drive, and finally enjoyed some time playing games. But after anything good happens, it's always followed up by something awful... Come home, parents are all calm at first. But then my mom starts harassing me about my friends after I just got back from hanging out with them. She starts mockingly asking me if they'll pay for anything I do with them (eating, gas, activities) and starts talking trash about them despite never having even met them. She always seems to enjoy pushing people's buttons...especially mine. But rather than facing the issue, I normally walk away... To which, she followed me and would constantly start screaming at me about how I "spend too much time with my friends" (Despite her once a week rule of going out...). Then to add to this, my dad came rushing into my room shouting at me and started hitting me because I wasn't listening... Also...while trying to make my own dinner after my parents finished resulted in them taking my plate and dumping it in the trash.

It's the same old cycle of one day or even just part of a day being good and enjoyable with the following hours, day, week, or month being downright awful... Funny how one of the best days you've had in a long time becomes one of the worst.

@MedigoFlame - I certainly know what you're talking about. Had a blast on New Year's Eve with my friends, was really fun despite numerous alcohol-related incidents. But today, I have a sore throat, and it's really really awful. Can't really swallow anything properly :(
In any case, this shall not stop me from wishing all of you guys a great new year 2014!

Wel just like everyday. Wake up, eat, GT6, Dinner, Go to sleep... Here's a pic.

Father came out of surgery last night. A 1.5 hour operation turned into a 6 hour operation. He's feeling a whole lot better now.
Glad he made it out ok. That stuff can be scary.

I'm just attempting to get my sleep cycle back to normal, after a new years party I slept from about 6-8 then had to wake up to get a taxi home, then I went back to sleep at 11 and woke up at 11PM. I'm trying to stay up till at least 8-9 tonight so when I sleep I'll wake up at a normal time.
I wasn't exactly on the best cycle before NYE anyway, going to bed at 5 in the morning and having all nighters.

Great. Had a very nice Christmas dinner/gathering.... until we went to Church. The priest pulled off a divorce joke in the middle of praise while transitioning from one parable to the other. I've never seen my father that angry before. It wasn't a clear, red-faced anger, bit more deep hatred, cold look.

Then we had a New Year's party/ gathering. It was all-night music, food, dancing, FIFA, GT6,and COD.

However my cycle is MESSED UP! I've been staying up until 2 a.m. and waking up at 2 p.m. this whole week. Plus the all-night New Year's didn't help.

We had an after-party today for New Year's. Same deal. Finished an hour ago.

Now I can't sleep :(

Pretty good. Got plenty of sleep, but I'm still tired. Was looking at the North Toronto Auction for a car but nothing interested me, so I went classic car searching at Kijiji. Found this. Don't know if it's worth it for 15G.... what do you guys think?

15Gs? O_o My personal opinion, no. It's a classic, I know, but not for that much.

Anywhos, day was long forgiving. Had to take a 18 hour drive from Geogia to Illinois. Plus, fell asleep on the way there. Whoops

At least you fell asleep.... on long drives in which I barely get any sleep, I hallucinate. Granted both are pretty dangerous.

And yeah, 15G's to finish a project..... not really worth it. I've always wanted an Olds, bit I'll hold out for now.
