Found out what happened to my mom was that she had a small heart attack. The doctors say that everything is fine now and that she can come home this weekend, but she'll have to make improvements to her life such as smoking less, more exercise, and eating better.

Got turned down for a job I was literally perfectly qualified for, which I wanted quite badly. I've been turned down for so many jobs that I just automatically assume I won't get hired anywhere when I apply to jobs. I just don't get it, I have a decent résumé and I very outgoing attitude which is good for interviews but nothing. My references are getting old and dusty because it's been so long since I had a decent job where I could build relationships. It's extremely frustrating and discouraging.

So my first shift at McDonald's went well. However, my day got worse when I crashed my motorcycle on the way home. What a bad day.

Had a really bad day yesterday. Went into college for an extra day on Friday to continue work on a graded unit engineering project hoping that some members of my group would turn up. 20 minutes later, I got a text from one of my friends (who was in my project group and wasn't going in) saying the other person in my group wasn't going to come in either. Completely wasted journey and used fuel in my car for no reason.

Went home fuming before things got worse. A package arrived not long after I'd got home which my mum told me was here new replacement tablet PC. That was the last straw for me as my sister and I had already got a tablet we were going to get for our parents for Christmas. Christmas plans shot to pieces and I was left extremely annoyed.

Dont tell me its the one you restored.

It's was my Aprilia, fortunately. The front tucked whilst going around a roundabout and my foot became trapped under the bike. It could have been a lot worse...

There is a Christmas benefit camouflaged as a party at my neighbours house. It is still too early to go. I hear some music playing though.

Just an simple, quiet, normal day.

I'm wishing all the best!

Thanks. My mom is home now, but instead of starting to relax, she started yelling at my dad. Then, after my dad left the house, she was wondering why this happened to her since my dad is way less healthier than her, and I told it was stress. That resulted in her throwing a hat at me, so it looks like she's back to normal.

No sleep at all, might as well go snowbiking at 5am.:D

Edit: Definitely need to put the studs back on, and more light than an LED flashlight duct taped to my helmet.

New rear shock today! Yay!

No more spine smashing for me! Plus, since Chinese roads are pretty much all rubbish it means I can finally get over 60mph without bouncing off the road into the guard rail!

Also heated grips, FTW!

Good day today.

I know the feeling of getting stuck underneath one. I learned the hard way putting your foot out on a three-wheeler...ouch.

Yesterday was bad...I'm trying to sell my Volvo, and had a potential buyer lined up.

We had been discussing it back and forth (it was in the shop for 2 weeks getting the right rear door replaced, she first messaged me asking about it a week before it got out). I told her up front I wanted around 3 grand for it, and she was definitely interested. After it got out, we tried negotiating for a time to come see it. Never happened. Then, my dad has to leave for business for 2 weeks. And since the car was in his name, nothing could be done until he got back. So, fast forward another two weeks to last night...she messages me saying she will be here around 4:30 today. Fast forward to today...she messages me saying she can't buy it anymore due to financial problems.

If this had went as planned, the car would be out the door tomorrow, and I'd be in an S60-R by the end of the week. Now, I feel like it's going to be a PITA to sell outright, even at 3 grand. I can probably kiss the S60-R goodbye...it honestly has me down in the dumps. :indiff::(

Oh god yes, they're so nice.

What's the temp over there?

Surely your hands are actually being warmed, mine are just struggling to avoid frostbite.

Got a pic from that morning ride, camera shows it taken at 6:12am.

It'll be real nice having some grip later on, plus some thicker gloves.

Despite it being well below freezing and having everything covered with ice and snow, you just can't beat the view.:)

@Bopop4, it was snowing yesterday, so pretty cold. Today was a bit milder and some frost was all that remained but still around 2-4 before lunch, not including wind chill.

I've got them set to 75 degrees which means now I only need 1 pair of gloves! :D

Lucky, it's -15C here.

Do you know the wattage of the warmers? I don't know what temp mine go to.
@Bopop4

The sky looks like the orange one from San Andreas lmao.

After locking myself out a couple of days ago, I decided to buy two remote controls for the shutters. I just finished installing the remote controls. I had to reconnect everything in a total different way, use different switches etc.... .
I managed to get it right from the first time and everything is working perfectly. Maybe I'm not that stupid after all.

Had to convert these standard duo switches to this remote control switch in combination with with this switch.

And the standard switch with another remote switch.

Also visited my father and had some bad news. I wanted to wash my car today but it wasn't possible. Maybe tomorrow.

All in all, not a bad day.

Good day today. Long and slow day taking tests and then I got out early and got Subway. I won a $25 Best Buy gift card :D which I will probably use to buy a PSN card for myself. I can't buy a $25 card, only $20, so I don't know what I will buy with the other $5.

Got up early for once for a full day of work. The only thing is that it isn't quite a full day. I've been working since 8 AM, right till 3 PM. But now there's nothing for me to do, and I can't leave so I've gone into the office to just come onto GTP. :D 7 hours is almost a full day though, so I've done well (take half an hour out for lunch break). We were setting up the storage racks, but it's sort of pointless because we don't have a forklift... Yet. But still, a good solid day today. :D Was worth taking a day from my GT6 obsession. :P

Eh, a fairly average day with ups and downs.

Started by getting up early and playing GT6 for a few hours, finishing off the Goodwood challenges (started redoing all of the events in GT6 now that I'm using a wheel). Had to bid on an auction for my dad, and I completely forgot about it until my mum reminds me with about 15 until closing. I go out to the computer to wait around until I had to bid. I completely forget, only remembering when my mum reminded me with less than a few minutes until closing. I quickly go to the auction on Trade Me and put the max my dad is willing to spend on auto bid. Thanks to my parent's computer, which has 20+ things open, the computer lagged for two hours (exaggeration) and missed the auction. I was pissed.

It would of been open on my computer too, but last time I checked Trade Me, it wouldn't load.

So, that put me in a fairly bad mood for the rest of the day, annoyed with myself since it was entirely my fault.

After that, I remembered I had to do some weed eating on one of my dad's rentals. I get my gear and fill out my timesheet (I don't have a job, so my dad pays me on stuff I do for him per an hour). I weed eat for around 15 to 20 minutes until I run out of petrol. I go get the petrol and fill it up, since it was bone dry. Since I'm not the most experienced with motors (I'm only 14), stupidly I try to start it up on the first choke, with out circulating the fuel (pressing that bulb thing). After 10 minutes of going through the cycle, it wouldn't start. Deciding on that I had flooded it, I leave it sit for a few hours to see if it righted itself.

I come back a few hours later (20 minutes ago now, actually ). Choke to A, set to on, press bulb 7 times, nothing. No attempt to start. After a few minutes of trying, I give up and decided to wait until my dad got home. Hopefully, if the weather's good, I'll do it tomorrow if my dad is able to fix it. Or today, depending on when he actually does.

The day was made up by the fact I kicked a bit of ass in the license test leaderboards. Not first, but better than my previous records.

tl;dr: lots wrong, some good, much decent.

Very good day. Finished the work on the shutter switches. Did other stuff and had spaghetti today.
Going to the gym this evening.
