Well, it'll be in a club, and it's not a playboy party as such, just that he has model looking girls in tow. I'm a faithful man so I'm only interested in the booze. It could end at 6am which won't see in the wife's good books.
 
First day of Winter break... had hot pot for dinner and a good laugh playing another crappy wii party game with my sister...how do you think my day went? :rolleyes:
 
More like lucky me, I haven't had any school since late September :sly:
@Korza, that's because it's Summer Holidays for us. For people in Merica and the UK etc, it's term break. Hence the 2 weeks.

Lucky. I'd love to be on school holidays, endless GT5 and :gtplanet: I suppose this time next week I'll only have 1 day remaining.
 
This day is just about to end in the most brilliant way possible! Earlier in the What Grinds your gears thread I was annoyed about losing some of my music related things. Some originals, and lyrics to what is probably my best written piece. I have recovered all of my in total 23 minute song (in 3 parts) all of it except the last verse which I can sort of remember the main bits. :D YES!!!!! Time to go absolutely bonkers with backup files!!!!

I actually had a great day. Made up all my work in Business Tech and had a substitute teacher for Social Studies, English is well... English and Math is usually pretty blah.
 
Worst. Day. Ever.

Started out bad when we had English class with our 🤬 substitute teacher (our regular teacher broke her arm or something and won't be back before 2012).

We had to do conversations with randomly selected partners about a topic she gave us...

Well, guess I should have figured that I got the worst topic and probably one of the worse conversational partners...

I tried to keep the conversation alive by talking about the topic and asking questions, but her one-liner answers just annoyed me at some point and I quit it.

So when she rated that conversation and asked some other students about what we were like most of the other guys said that it wasn't really my fault (it 🤬 wasn't). Still, I get all the bashing from the teacher for essentially doing a monologue.

This has bugged me for the rest of the day. I used to be the best student in English but this killed it for me.

I stayed after school with my good friend and replied to letters to Santa written by Kindergarteners, as elves of course. It was pretty fun, I said that the cookies the girl's family makes are even better than those of Mrs. Claus. Brilliant. And that Santa already knew she had been a good girl. Brilliant. I even went on to say that I was the "Chief Letter Advisor of Santa's 83rd Mail Room" and that my name was Peppermintus (peppermint with a Latin twist). Magical.
 
I live in the internet the last couple of weeks, and I think it will be a clumsy landing back to reality when college submission deadlines approach. :(

Had a talk on alcohol at school. A few things in there that interested me, and I think it may have helped a certain member I'm thinking of(not naming names). :P
 
My day was excellent! It was the last real day of the semester (excluding finals week next week, but I only have one easy final that I don't have to study for so it's not really a big deal), and I had two very important playing tests, one for my jazz improvisation class and a piano proficiency test for getting out of piano class next semester. I passed both! I'm playing in a Christmas concert tonight, which should be fun, and all I have to look forward to is seven days of (nearly) nothing to study for, or go to, or anything, and then driving back home to my family for Christmas break. 👍

Mediocre at best. That was my day. At least I got my semester 2 class schedule fixed to my liking. Sociology instead of parenting, and 3C English instead of 3U English. A lot easier now.

It's Saturday... For me at least. Almost 5 PM Saturday. :P But yeah Friday isn't always calm. Sometimes it's hectic as hell, well not for me over the next 2 months! ;)
