I used the Arcade Mode Red Bull X event at La Sarthe with minimum downforce and cut the corners. There is also the super car event at Blue Moon Bay Oval where you can use a detuned KTM X BOW, but getting the Clean Race Bonus is not easy. I haven't done farming in over a year though, so there may be better methods now.

This is an endurance race, will not win but set up the way described 2nd place $$ will net you 5 mil for a 24 hour stint...
Four or five days and you have your 20 mil

The Lewis Hamilton DLC is a quick way to earn a few million, maybe more if you are fairly quick. Here is a link for a post in GTP.
But these are one-off rewards. I don't know if PS Plus is required to buy the DLC.

From memory, Blue Moon Bay in a Mclaren F1 tuned to N400 is easier but not quite as many credits as the N300 Xbow. There is a Monza Group 1 race that is fairly manageable, as well as the Group 2 races. Historic Le Mans, but requires a 20m car for an easy win. Lastly, if grinding becomes boring, and time is less of a concern - custom races can be set up to earn a few credits. Add fuel economy, tyre wear and Group 4 can beat rally cars, and set up well, N200 Mazda TC can beat N1000 on a long circuit.

Monza No Chicane Gr.1 is the most straightforward one for me. 220k for seven quick laps, very little of which involves the steering wheel. That's before the clean race bonus.

Any car in the group will win you the race easily, but for optimal farming, you want a car with a good top end that is capable of taking the long turn 1 flat out. Most VGTs and the older LMP1s fit into this category. I've noticed the Group C cars, when maxed out, tend to understeer into the shadow realm at T1.

Last night I tried this with the X-bow N300 (stupid name for a car) and i set my HP to one click before is changed it to N400 and even tho I had troubles keeping it a clean race (stupid AI braking too soon) I found out that as an N300 car I got a 150% bonus for underrated car which I net 250,000 in one 15 lap race. Thank you for telling me this, I was happy doing this race with a N400 Ford GT'06 and netting 230,000 or 345,000 as a clean race.

I never tried the MX-5TC vs N1000. Think I'll do that tonight. ;)

It is a long time since playing around with custom races. I have a faint recollection of trying Laguna Seca, Alsace, and St Croix. Probably others as well. You are a much faster driver than I am - so you might not need to go RS, x10 fuel and tyre wear against N1000. I do remember playing with the settings until I found a suitably enjoyable and challenging set-up.

The Blue Moon race using any of the Gr.B/Gr.3 Road Cars on RSS tyres, tuned to max N500 and you can score 310k in just over 15 min with a clean race.

EDIT: I've got over 70 race wins there, and I think about 50% are with the Alfa 4C Gr.3 RC.
