So, who's got all 60 Golds in their licence tests yet?

...call me a rebel, but I hate licenses. So I started playing around racing first, and found out that I have not needed any license for any race yet. I'm up to level 18 with over 800K credits and have a Veyron among others, but no licenses. Waiting to see if they are required in Extreme.

Not being a requirement as in previous versions, Licenses will be the last challenge I will tackle, racing is way more fun.

Well the woman mentions how "you can now enter in more races.." (when you get a licence completed) so I guess they forgot to give licence requirements to the events in the game...

Edit: 100th post!

...maybe more race opportunities will appear on the menu once I start getting licenses? That makes more sense. Still nice to be able to dive into racing and advance up the chart without the roadblock absolute requirement of needing a license to go any further.

Well, I take them category at a time, today I got all golds up till the S.

I couldn't get IC-1 license. I must have played it like 200 times till I got it gold. One time I didn't get it for .001 sec.

I played others quite a few times, but the ones I had serious trouble with, were IC-1, A-10 and now IC-10. I played it like for 2 hours till I got it, now I think I can get it every time, the lambo handling is expectable (someone above mentioned ferrari - he must have made a mistake).

I was swearing at anything I could think of, and to protect my wheel, tv, remote control, etc from breaking it I took it all to the gas pedal. Oh, yes, I was banging on the G25 gas pedal... GEEEZZZZZ...

..however, when I get them right I fall asleep like a bird :)

I have finished it today :D It's the first GT game where I managed to do this, although it seems to be easier this time than in previous games.

After a week and a half, I can finally post on here.

In all the licenses, I found the slaloms, IC-1, IC-10 hard. S licenses were alot easier than I thought. I spent the most time with the P4 on R246, but the rest were quite easy on 1st or 2nd try. Good luck everyone! :gtpflag:

Hey guys, new to the forums and came across this post! Finished S-Gold 3 nights ago.. go gold or go home!

Add me to the list too :)
Just beat the last gold I needed - IC-10. Funny enough, even races in the superlicense were easier than this one.

Here's my proof:

I did it a while ago but never took a pic

Please add me now, thanks.

Just as a note I found the getting golds in licenses was much easier in general than previous GT's, including GT PSP (102 golds).

All golds so far...All I have left are the S Tests and from what i've read, they're the easiest. So I guess you can write me in the books :)

Finally managed the 1000m stopping test to get last gold using the DS3 controller. Now just have to work on the special events although after watching those X1 videos not sure if getting gold in those will be possible using just the controller.

Got all golds tonight after doing a few licences every day, the 1000m stopping was by far the hardest with a controller however everthing else should of been more challenging.

Got all Golds a few days ago. Wasn't too hard, but the 1000m stopping challenge was hard in the DB9 as many have already said.

All done, yesterday. And yes, S license overtake tests were the easiest.

Also, haven't problems with the 1km stop. You can brake very shorter without ABS.

I found the hardiest were the hairpin approach ones.... almost all with basic understeering cars.

Finally golded B8. I got a new GT3RS wheel and got 13.786 after a few tries. The 900 degree steering makes a difference.

I had been told the 1000m test was a hard one to gold so when I came to it I concentrated on achieving the best launch I could and got gold pretty quickly.

Finally got all 60 golds. The hardest one was the IS-F at sard braking and then turing, and the 370z doing the double hairpin was painful. lol

@ Sigma, can you please check your A-07 time, it looks a little slow.

Hey, I got my Sixty Golds yesterday, but I have no means to upload a picture ATM. I'll try to affix one at some point today.... ;)

Also, the licenses in this GT are relatively easy compared to any of the others. IMO. :dopey:

Rather embarrasingly, I'm as yet unable to gold the very first test!! Not much trouble with the others I've tried, but this is starting to become a bit of a bogey test for me! :)

How was the 1000m stopping the hardest? It's one of the easiest. Controller makes ZERO difference. Know the point, brake. Win!

You people confusing me. Their is even a marker on the ground when to brake. It's an "X". Couldn't be any simpler.

Howdy y'all. I have 59 Golds so far and 1 Silver, the dreaded IB-3 slalom. I'm gonna try another couple hundred tries and hopefully figure it out. Update to follow soon (I hope). :dunce:

EDIT- alrighty then, I just got Gold IB-3. :D For a grand total of 60 Golds. 👍
