A song from FLAW(r.i.p) called "Best That I Am". It was a song I dedicated to my then fiance back in 2002. She dumped me 4 days after my 27th b'day. Still have a hard time listening to it.

Phenomenal song and band. I do wonder why you put (r.i.p) after Flaw? The band is still around. Although it was rough they did release "Homegrown Studio Sessions" which was decent. Chris has to many problems though to be writing music from what I hear. But from his solo career and his other band FBM I can put down many songs that fit into the category of this thread.

Everytime i hear "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, it reminds me of my granddad. The song was featured in the film "Jack Frost" with Michael Keaton and it was my grandads favourite film. Also "Where Do We Fall?" by Skth reminds me of a girl who got away...

I have problems listening to Brazen by Skunk Anansie without tearing up. Don't know why really cause I have no real sad memories connected with it. Very good song though.

Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Don't Stop Believing by Journey. Stairway to Heaven (My father played it at my Aunt's wedding. My Aunt died of cancer. On certain days, he can't take it and just cries when he thinks of playing it at his sister's wedding, makes me emotional because me and my dad are like best buds, and I hate seeing him sad.)

Jackson Browne "Late for the Sky"

I love the song, but I never listen to it... A few years ago now I lost the plot completely, partly because of alcohol, and partly because of a girl... it happened that at the time I was shut in just watching lots of films. This was the first time I saw Taxi Driver... 'late for the sky' was the song playing on the TV when Travis pushes over the TV...

LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great

This song always reminds me of my old dog, as I first heard it the day he died.

As a liverpool fan, watching/hearing the croud sing You'll never walk alone gets me every time.. Was actually crying watching the hillsborough memorial yesterday

I love the way football chants can get to many people, it just shows the appreciation and passion people show to the team. Best spectator sport in the world, especially at the stadiums.

The Cardigans-My Favourite Game. That GT2 intro gets me everytime. Basically every intro song to a Gran Turismo game. Also Soldier Side by System of a Down.

2 Unlimited - Get Ready for this

The Cardigans-My Favourite Game.

 How the hell do find that saddening? That song is awesome, in fact I feel badass listening to it.

Three songs for me right now.

Boys Like Girls: Two Is Better Than One

Boys Like Girls: Hero - Heroine

Boys Like Girls: Thunder

All three are about one person. It sucks being my age. You can't do anything in situations like mine. 👎

Not too emotional where I can't listen too but they are emotional for me.

American National Anthem
Lonely Road by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Yesterday-Beetles, I don't know why but it just makes me think of bad stuff...
Free Bird-(wasn't that from Lenard Skinard?)it's just that kind of song...
Ohh that Queen song...the one on Wyan's World...it's the part about him killing some guy...it's just depressing.

Even though your post is from 2002, I'll reply. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody.
Love that song :D

Lyrics hit close to home, his mom even has the same name as mine. I still remember the night I was at a friends house after being told not to come home. I was on a quarter of mushrooms, and his gf put this song on and I just listened to it and got tears in my eyes and ended up running out of the house to go sit in the park.
