It's just a random car then? I see people posting they got a different one than mine.
Yes, it’s ONE random rally car from a fixed selection it would seem.
It's not random, but it is a single fixed car (each PSN account will always get the same car when you start the game up, but which car it is differs between accounts) from what appears to be a selection of six of the Gr.B rally cars.

Got the NSX Gr. B Rally Car as my first car <3 So pretty...time to get her dirty. :mischievous:

EDIT: Server maintenance FTL, o well.

I’ve no idea as these are pre-baked into the demo when it’s left on and not my own. However, like others is have thought as many as your storage can handle as these will be game instructions not video files as such.

Forza 6 is limited to 10, PCars 2 limited me to 11 (based on a 1GB limit!)

So I'm paranoid

I guess we have to wait and see but you can always use the share button and save it for the HDD directly if I'm not mistaken. I guess the PS will let you save up to 30m long videos at a time.

True, however a video file is not as useful as a replay. With a replay, you can choose views and switch into photomode. A video can only be played

That's true. For photomode purposes they're useless. :/

Download took 1 hour.
I received this.

Wait, is the demo able to be launched already? I see it's available to download (supposedly) at 40.1 GB. Was going to wait until midnight to start the download. (limited bandwidth, sadly).

You can start it up, set the display settings, receive your starter car and then let it sit and show you highlights of things.

But then it doesn't save because there is no connection to the server, and you'll have to do it all over again the next time.

10-4. I'll queue it to download tonight but no point in playing it yet.

hummm.. looks great but the fan on my ps4pro goes full speed after 2 minutes when I leave the demo running. Doesnt inspire confidence :(

I guess I look at this fan situation differently. If GT Sport can drive a PS4 Pro so hard it makes the cooling fan kick in, it's probably squeezing every last bit of CPU power out of it. That means a lot of optimization is my guess, so probably A) the investment in the Pro was worth it, and B) the output graphics may well be superior to other games which don't drive it as hard.

Looking back at GT6 which pushed my original model PS3's fans into action, the graphics were amazing for that generation of consoles. Hundreds of hours of ferocious fan blowing later and it's still going strong. Based on that experience, I think I will be disappointed if my Pro doesn't show signs of hard work!

I'm sure you know, just make sure there's plenty of air circulating in the room.
I keep a floor fan behind my AC duct blowing cold air toward the pro.
I have a nice console size shelf on my rig, but don't use it as there's nowhere for the hot air to escape out of the back. I bought a nightstand so it can sit on top unobstructed, wipe it down and the vents every other day.
Dust accumulates quickly.

My first PS4 Pro was whisper quiet but that failed after 3 months. The replacement Sony sent is very noisy as the fan kicks in pretty quickly for any game. It hasn't failed though so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

My Pro is quiet but my OG PS4 was hairdryer level and got significantly quieter after I changed the thermal paste.

I am on my original PS4 Pro and the fan can kick in quite a bit, but only on certain games or photo modes. I guess where the CPU is maxing out, some more than others. UC4 made it kick in as does DriveClub photo mode! In the hot summer I had a desk fan just blowing cool air around it and the large TV to keep it cool which helped quite a bit and it didn't kick in so much, not so essential in the winter. 👍
