I would have to say I really do like the game. I believe I am going to have to turn the music off during races, unfortunately somehow it is distracting. Maybe once I get used to the game.

I'm also having trouble setting up the DS4, but it's not as pain as trying to calibrate the controller for Project Cars. Would anyone care to share their DS4 settings when they get the chance?

I was finding that the steering was too slow more stable but wheel rotation was not as sensitive as I would prefer. I found steering sensitivity options when you are about to race click on driving options. Scroll down to advanced options I think you should see it at the bottom its the same as gt6 options it helps to turn it up a bit

They probably went down due to the fact that some people were already running sub 1 minute laps at Dragon Trail in stock Audi TT's one guy 11 secs  .. pushing under 2 minutes would be a superb lap in itself :D The hackers are already doing their thing 👎

I haven't found the setting in the options menu... Is it available in the options when you pause during play?
Yes when you are driving pause the game and click on options with driving I think and there are advanced options to adjusted camera, view, lighting , and other stuff.

Hey guys I have a Thrustmaster T150 with a TH8A hpattern shifter, is there any way to set this up? If not is this just a demo issue or does the game not support the shifter?

19 minutes:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:

Ok I gave in and started downloading it last night, so from about 11pm till now 10am next day, just turned the tv on, still says 7 hours to go...:banghead::banghead:
Oh man I want to try this so much, scapes etc etc.
I started downloading it Saturday evening and it still finished downloading :(

Went down about a half hour ago. It was fun while it lasted :gtpflag:But seriously, I get a great vibe from the online part. The only thing I need is new people to race with. Graphics and physics look better than I thought. For those looking for racing buddies: PM to add.

i have to say the graphics are superb! i guess HDR and kazfection are a perfect match :)

edit: now release some historic DLC pack containing some youngtimers, bmw 2002 ti, alpine A110 or Porsche 356 and i can get off the pikes peak quadro :D no really! a classic race class is needed asap for ultimate pleasure with those visuals.

I've been trying most of the day to get online, doesn't help when I couldn't even get in to the options without it crashing., even now at 7.30pm uk time it still crashes, was so hoping to do a live stream tonight too. I will of course wait and persevere ......anyone for some GT6?

Damnit, found out my R2 button only worked for 50-70% when I fully pulled the trigger... so now i have to buy another one >.<

I don't know if you need a new controller ... I have two controllers and they both do the same thing. If I really put a lot of force into R2 I can get it to go to full throttle. However, that was wearing my finger out. I switched to the right stick for throttle & brakes and that worked wonders.

Anyone here who knows if a Fanatec CSW v2 will work with the beta and full version of this great game?

It works, but there is absolutely no force feedback. I have the CSW V2.0 with a Drivehub and it does not work 100% if you have the Drivehub set to FANATEC "native mode". Haven't tried "FANALOGIC Mode" yet. In theory that should give me Force Feedback as it's emulating the Logitech G29 drivers to drive the CSW. However, I'm hoping the Final retail version of the game has official CSL Elite support. That way I can use the Drivehub in native Fantec mode.

Hmmm...

Is anyone able to confirm...is it just because it's a demo, that when it ( seemingly continuously ) goes offline for maintenance, you can't do anything with the game?

I mean, this demo being intermittent is fine - it's just a demo - but if the actual full game keeps shutting you out of any kind of interaction, I can't justify paying out money for a game I can't play half the time

Like I say, maybe it's just the demo that locks you out, every time server maintenance happens ( i'm getting shut out during the middle of offline races at the moment ). :(

Things were going well until I got booted off for server maintenance. Received the Subaru Viziv VGT as my daily workout reward.

Those scapes are quite impressive. Pretty fun to just look at pictures from places all over the globe and reading the descriptions. :)

As far as the game itself goes, did mostly some challenges and they are okay I guess, much more fun than Forza's autocross for sure. ;) Got 3 free cars from it as well, the Toyota GT 86, the Ferrari 458 Italia Gr.4 and that tiny Daihatsu Vision GT thing. I think the latter was for the daily workout reward.

At the point I've seen enough challenges and wanted to race some the servers are down. :( Aah well, more tomorrow I guess.

Really like the overall presentation though, like the extra info and clips from the dealers.

Controller handling right out of the box seems to work fine.

Menu music is superb!!! Such peaceful relaxing type of "background" music is exactly what I want for menu music.

Least impressive thing so far is... the car sound. :( Still too sterile and "GT-ish".

Did I already mention those scapes are impressive? :)

Never ever thought I would say this but if the racing the following days is impressive I might even buy the game.
