Special/Ultimate Parts

I proably have done the 4 star ticket glitch 40 times, pd hates me only 3 special parts,
I hope i am not getting punished for doing it, but this just insane how low the chances are, hopefully pd dosen’t delete the parts, cash or cars we won with this exploit

Wait a sec... the Nismo has S Camshafts?!

I think mosh cars will if they have the standard part availble

Yeah I just realised... the Nismo doesn't even have the standard camshaft upgrade. So no S part I'm afraid.

Yes then it proably dosen’t have that upgrade,
But i don’t think pd have added all s parts yet, i only managed to get stroke up s

I suppose the roulette gods must be shining down on this car, because up to now I've got three separate parts for it. Stage 5 Weight, Bore Up S and now this! I'll be sure to tune it up.

I just fully tuned an 86 GRMN recently, so I am honestly a little jealous that you lucked out on the final power upgrade for it. Hopefully PD lets these upgrades be purchased in the Tuning Shop one day, since there's no reason to lock them behind roulettes.
lol

oh, and do you guys keep the standard parts?. i'm getting clogged up with them, most of them are 10k wich is not a lot of money if someday i want them. maybe deleting them is for the best', i'm unsure.
If I can't use them on a car I already own, I just ditch 'em. Not worth clogging up inventory space.

Side note: three more S parts.

List of seemingly INACCESSIBLE parts from the roulette tickets:

Ultra-High RPM Turbo:
  • Nissan Skyline R32
  • Nissan Skyline R33
  • Nissan Skyline R34
  • Nissan GT-R R35 (base model)
  • Nissan 300ZX
  • Nissan Fairlady 240ZG
  • Toyota Supra RZ
  • Ferrari F40
  • Fiat 500 F
High-RPM S Supercharger:
  • Literally any car that has it, as far as I know you just can't get this part from roulettes whatsoever
If ANYONE has received these parts for these cars, please do let me know.

I don't have the most recent update yet (& don't ask me to leak anything).
And that doesn't necessarily mean I know what it all means. :P

I'm willing to provide faster info on things that could be figured out from the game itself (however slowly). Car & part performance info, roulette odds, etc.

(Of course, the actual output PP or power/torque values when parts are equipped, I can't tell you because those are calculated on the fly.)
Could you possibly tell us the performance boosts on the inaccessible parts for the cars I mentioned directly above this post?

Didin’t know you could win that for the amuse 350z

Also got high lift camshaft s for the Jaguar f type adds 41 hp more than the standard part but thats only when i have my Jaguar at 579 hp just from there it goes from 579-650 hp

Is there a way to increase chances of getting special parts? I've opened a bunch of tickets and only pulled maybe 5 parts, meanwhile I have at least 50-60 engines.

I'm always stuck with the regular non-S parts on my roulette spins 💀

I wounder the same thing, the s parts are even harder to come by than engine swaps the only way i know is to Watch Toyota 86 from collection and then open and then go back again to the cafe and Watch Mazda and then Toyota again this way you can obtain 2 4 star tickets before needed to restart again

The Special Car Parts, as well as the normal car parts, that the Roulette Tickets give out, is only for BRAND CENTRAL cars (and apparently, not all of them ofc, since a lot of them are race cars).

This applies to the cars you win as well. You can only win BRAND CENTRAL CARS in the roulette.

BTW, is there anyone making a list of all confirmed Special Car Parts?

I won't spoil the whole list (mostly because I'm not going to write out all 670+ parts) but I thought I'd give some info about the effects of unpurchasable tuning parts (and compare them to purchasable ones).

Displacement
Bore Up
provides 1-6% flat increase in torque, with an outlier of 8% for the 300SL '52.
Bore Up S provides a 1-2% flat increase in torque when compared to Bore Up.

Stroke Up provides 3-7% flat increase in torque.
It also compresses the torque graph to 98% width on all cars except the Abarth 500 '09, 911 GT3 RS '16, GR Yaris '20 (where it stays the same).
Stroke Up also provides an increase to a presumed electric stat for the Aqua S '11 and Prius G '09 (might be a 5% increase?).
Stroke Up S provides a 1-2% flat increase in torque across the board compared to Stroke Up.

NA Tuning
Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons
stretches the torque graph to 103% (few cars) or 105% width (vast majority of cars).

High Lift Camshaft increases max RPM by 300 (and equally increases AI / AT shift point by 500rpm, afaik).
For some engines, it also provides a 2-47% (???!!!) increase in torque. These engines do not have a High Lift Camshaft S part.
High Lift Camshaft S increases max RPM by 500 - that's 200rpm more than the standard part (increases for AI / AT equally again).

Other
Ultra-High RPM Turbos
have a lot of variance and they're actually simulated in GT7 - finally - so all I'll note is the 500F '68 has the most boost for an Ultra-High with 4.5bar @ 4000rpm.
This is only the 4th highest turbo boost in the game: the Audi R18 '11 has a purchasable 5.73bar @ 4000rpm upgrade & the BRZ GT300 '21 has both a 5.08bar @ 5500rpm and 5.0bar @ 4500rpm purchasable upgrades.

Carbon Propeller Shafts reduce wheel inertia by 4% and propeller inertia by 30%.
I'm a little unsure as to the specific places these are used for calculations so I can't say what the exact result of this is.

Lightweight Stage 5 has a range of 2-4% weight reduction (as % reduction from stock) over the previous available stage.
The Amuse S2000 is an outlier: it has no previous stages and reduces by 6%.
The GT by Citroen Road Car is a really weird outlier: it's Stage 5 weight reduction is 1% heavier than it's only other stage, Stage 3!
It's been brought to my attention that it seems no-one's actually obtained a special part for a non-Brand Central car yet,
so while the data for the 500F '68 Ultra-High RPM Turbo exists, you can't get it. :odd:

edit: whoops this got mentioned in posts above. sorry

I'm working on figuring out the number of actually obtainable special parts now.

The supercharger is inaccessible, yes. It's not in the list of part rewards.

I'm not gonna give out part data for the non-Brand Central cars because I suspect they may be introduced in a later update (and may be changed when/if that happens), so you don't really get anything from that data.

But for the ones that seem like they should be obtainable:
R34 Ultra-High RPM Turbo:
  • 1st boost of 0.8bar @ 4500rpm with 10.0 response
  • 2nd boost of 1.7bar @ 6500rpm with 8.0 response
For comparison, R34 High RPM Turbo:
  • 1st boost of 0.7bar @ 3500rpm with 10.5 response
  • 2nd boost of 1.55bar @ 6000rpm with 8.5 response

The R35 Ultra-High RPM Turbo is the same as both the R35 Safety Car Ultra-High RPM Turbo & R35 NISMO Ultra-High RPM Turbo.
  • 1st boost of 0.4bar @ 3500rpm with 10.0 response
  • 2nd boost of 0.8bar @ 5500rpm with 8.0 response
