Special/Ultimate Parts

Welcome to the Special Parts thread, version 1.01!

This is the place to discuss S Parts, their availability, their performance benefits and so on.

@ddm do you know if the reward cars from 5-star tickets are any different from the 4-star reward cars? I believe if the prize cars are different, the special parts available from the ticket will be different too.

Part of the new site update is this. Short answer: no. Both 4* and 5* give set B and set C (4* also gives set A).

edit: as noted by someone earlier, racecars often don't have S parts but are in this list still.

Has anybody earned any S parts for the Mazda RX's yet? I've been dying to know if the redline increase is substantial, so that it will make the high/super high RPM turbo more viable.

The only power-boosting S parts for the RXs are the ultra turbo, since naturally a rotary can't have titanium conrods. And the RX-8 doesn't even have an ultra turbo available, just the parts from the upgrade shop.

I thought there might have potentially been an S Polish Port or Balance since there aren't any other engine upgrades available for rotary engines. In hopes of peripheral port goodness. Thanks for letting me know

Thats really good pulls, i have not been sucessfull to get 2 parts for same car, hopefully we see parts added for the cars that is in the used car dealer, and legend cars,i am yet too see parts for skyline r32,r33, r34, Mitsubishi gto, Ferrari f50
Have all the standard parts available so there is a chance it will have those parts avaialble in future update, i want the conrods too with gt3 rs to max it out but there might be a Bore up too, all those new parts is exciting and i am excited for what parts the future will bring

ddm
I won't spoil the whole list (mostly because I'm not going to write out all 670+ parts) but I thought I'd give some info about the effects of unpurchasable tuning parts (and compare them to purchasable ones).

Displacement
Bore Up
provides 1-6% flat increase in torque, with an outlier of 8% for the 300SL '52.
Bore Up S provides a 1-2% flat increase in torque when compared to Bore Up.

Stroke Up provides 3-7% flat increase in torque.
It also compresses the torque graph to 98% width on all cars except the Abarth 500 '09, 911 GT3 RS '16, GR Yaris '20 (where it stays the same).
Stroke Up also provides an increase to a presumed electric stat for the Aqua S '11 and Prius G '09 (might be a 5% increase?).
Stroke Up S provides a 1-2% flat increase in torque across the board compared to Stroke Up.

NA Tuning
Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons
stretches the torque graph to 103% (few cars) or 105% width (vast majority of cars).

High Lift Camshaft increases max RPM by 300 (and equally increases AI / AT shift point by 500rpm, afaik).
For some engines, it also provides a 2-47% (???!!!) increase in torque. These engines do not have a High Lift Camshaft S part.
High Lift Camshaft S increases max RPM by 500 - that's 200rpm more than the standard part (increases for AI / AT equally again).

Other
Ultra-High RPM Turbos
have a lot of variance and they're actually simulated in GT7 - finally - so all I'll note is the 500F '68 has the most boost for an Ultra-High with 4.5bar @ 4000rpm.
This is only the 4th highest turbo boost in the game: the Audi R18 '11 has a purchasable 5.73bar @ 4000rpm upgrade & the BRZ GT300 '21 has both a 5.08bar @ 5500rpm and 5.0bar @ 4500rpm purchasable upgrades.

Carbon Propeller Shafts reduce wheel inertia by 4% and propeller inertia by 30%.
I'm a little unsure as to the specific places these are used for calculations so I can't say what the exact result of this is.

Lightweight Stage 5 has a range of 2-4% weight reduction (as % reduction from stock) over the previous available stage.
The Amuse S2000 is an outlier: it has no previous stages and reduces by 6%.
The GT by Citroen Road Car is a really weird outlier: it's Stage 5 weight reduction is 1% heavier than it's only other stage, Stage 3!
Thanks for posting these. I've only got camshafts and carbon props so at least I can guesstimate how much power max if you have all the parts for each car.

Some questions:
  • Does installing Normal part then S yields same HP as installing S part directly? (e.g. Bore + Bore S vs Bore S only)
  • How did you get the stats for Carbon Prop (wheel/prop inertia)? As you say it's not really shown anywhere in the game. In fact the ones I've installed actually makes 0-60 times a few tenths slower despite showing a 0.5-1 PP increase !
  • I've seen Ultra High RPM Supercharger being mentioned. Any ideas what % boost this gives or is this part not winnable yet?

Oh and  @ the Citroen GT weight reduction. PD is such a troll.

So, I'm going to start compiling an excel sheet file with all the cars that can get special car parts (SCP).

Racing cars such as Gr.4, Gr.3, Gr.1 etc do not receive SCPs. So I'm not going to count those on the list. However, VGT cars (not the Gr.3 or Gr.1 models, but the original VGT models) can receive SCPs as I have received a Carbon Shaft to one of them.

With all this said, I've run down the list to be, so far, 124 cars with available car parts, however, this number can be lower because some VGTs and the Gr.3 Road Cars probably don't receive them either but I need confirmation first.

I will share the file in the end as well ofc.

I am feeling that i get a bit wear out with glitch, feels like i only get duplicates parts i am yet to get rods for following cars
911 gt3 rs
Dodge viper gts 13
Lamborghini aventador lp700
Lamborghini murcielago lp640,

Also looking for camshaft s
For the Ferrari enzo and aston Martin db11, have only got the regular camshaft for db11 twice was hopping it to be s part,

One cool idea would be too add the s parts over time to the extreme tab once they keep adding parts for different cars, and keep them exclusive for new parts they added to the new cars a couble of months, if that happens it would make life a lot easier

From what I've compiled so far:

We only have 6 UHRPM Turbos available (Veyron, RX-7, NISMO, GT-R Safety Car, RE:RX7 and BRZ Drift Car)

Titanium Con Rods and Pistons is the most abudant Special Car Part, probably all cars available on tickets that are road cars have them.
High Lift Cam S is also very abundant, likely available to all cars as well like the Tit. Con Rods and Pistons.

Stroke Up and Bore Up S are the rarest "S" parts, only a handful of cars got them. Especially the Stroke Up S where only 3 cars so far have it.

The Carbon Propshaft is only available for FR and AWD cars, and I can't confirm if it's for all of them.

As for the Stage 5 Weight, can't tell at all if all cars have it available or only some. Only have listed 15 of them so far.

And of course as we have all figured out, the SuperCharger S is only on display on the roulettes but we can't have them at all.

  • I believe S replaces the original part if installed, so it's the same end result if it wasn't installed.
  • From the game data. ;) Hence I'm not 100% sure of exactly what they do: the stats are named iwheel and iprop.
  • They're not obtainable, but there's 6 with data: roughly ~25% extra boost and 500rpm higher peak than the High RPM SCs for those cars.

Thank you, removed the car from the list on my post above.
I myself have a crap ton of parts to post but I'll post them here when I get home. Last time I checked I had 7 High RPM Turbos for the Re:RX7 but 0 for the Veyron... It's like the roulettes know what I want...

Guys, I've made some statistics after opening 50 tickets:

View attachment 1166768
Need a lot more than 50 to get a more reasonable sample size:

I did one with 373 (I stopped counting already):

And the odds were like this:

10k ----- 28%
30k ----- 21%
500k ----- 4%
1 million ----- 1%
Car A ----- 8%
Car B ----- 6%
Car C ----- 1%
Tuning Part (including brakes) ----- 11%
Special Car Part (not including brakes) ----- 8%
invitations ----- 9%
Engine ----- 3%

PS: I upscaled decimal numbers here.

Like everyone else I have an RX787 but more intrigued about the second build I'm planning using S-Parts on a non-swap RX. I have the Carbon shaft and the Ultra High Turbo. I feel it will be better than the RX787. More natural in a way.

I think your onto something. However I think there is also another limiter. The car has to be a roadcar to have S parts. I havent seen anyone get an s part for the Lexus SC430 GT500 yet? Even though it is on the list of cars in the roulette. It can likely only get non S parts

Well... very fast. Sadly the sound doesn't change, so it sounds like it's doing 8k at over 10k rpm...

They couldn't have done 1 more hp? 999hp, what a blueball from PD 😂

Doubt it I will reach 989bhp though, will sound nice.
