Special/Ultimate Parts

Just met a fella in a drag lobby with titanium conrods for his 911 GT3 RS. Can confirm it raises the HP to 721 (meaning on top of the S Camshafts, you'll be making at least 762 HP), and even more interestingly, raises the redline by over 500 RPM on its own! Without the part it's around 10300 RPM, but with the conrods that increased to almost 11000! Very curious to see this part on other cars now.

Considering that engine is highly tuned already IRL, that’s a huge jump in power (and revs!)

I’m kind of more interested in this than any Ultra High RPM Turbo build. I bet it screams 😁

Oh, it certainly does! I'm just wondering what sheer insanity could be unleashed with a combination of that part and the S Camshafts.

It really makes me wish the drag forum from GT5 and GT6 still existed today, so these cars could be tested. It was certainly a chaotic mess, but the information and community back then was something that just doesn't exist today.

Open one and, if it's not a reward you want, close the game at the rewards screen and wait for next update to potentially change the reward you earn. Repeat this with each ticket.

I never restarted my console, i didin’t got a engine part, but got the engine swap from 2020 civic type r so not too bad,
In this ticket there was also titanium connecting rods and pistons can’t remember the other one,

Very nice. Did you know you can put that engine in the '65 Mini?

Meh...

Very nice! Though I wouldn't say 'meh' to a part that single-handedly raises your redline by over 500. Sadly, the DeLorean is one of those cars that doesn't audibly change with an increased redline from stock...

Fun fact, though: the DeLorean has the most S parts available out of any car. I reckon with all of them equipped, it could get over 400hp!

Thanks. Yeah, I'll take any part I can get but this is a car I just probably won't drive much. Interesting...didn't know it had the most parts. 400hp + stage 5/6 weight reduction would spark my interest lol.

For sure! If you haven't installed the part yet, could you possibly do a before-and-after of the redline in the settings menu?

yes saw that in engine swap thread, not sure it i should wait too see if more cars get added to each swap over time, has Mustang 2015 engine as well have not used it either yet, but i am sure mini cooper will be beast with that engine, i was first thinking of dropping it in the integra or civic

I already installed it. Forgot what the redline was before but its 8367rpm after install.
Just checked mine upgraded, and without the part it tops out at 7969 rpm. Which is a 400rpm difference, so maybe the RPM change from the part is different between vehicles. Unless of course you measured the redline from the transmission, which is 7750 for me.

The Ti internals sound suspiciously like a "super racing crank" effect. Makes sense as it's all light internals either way. Similar effect on peak power (5% Ti vs 3% crank), nil or minor negative effect on peak Tq, rev limit increase (+5% Ti, 3% for race crank).

It would tally with the cams, bore and stroke having "S" level mods as a second tier of upgrades.

But I guess the "S" bore, stroke, and cam are overriding upgrades, whereas the crank and Ti internals are co-installed.

Wonder what happens when the fully upgraded DeLorean hits 88 mph?

Ahh ok thanks. I measured from ecu output.

I’ve just seen this thread. Sounds like PD have introduced an event that guarantees winning an engine swap.

Bodes well for S Parts if true.

Very Nice but it don’t quite understand what this event is, its it something with the new menu books, have not played the new update yet as i have been at work, i really hope their is events for the s parts too👍

I haven’t played yet either, but I’ll hopefully get a couple of hours later today and report back what I find.

I’m optimistic about this. On the face of it, PD are starting to address the frustrations with the roulette system.

Back later!

Right. So the new menu books aren’t in their usual place. They’re not numbered, and they appear in ‘Extra Menus’.

Unless I’m missing something, there are no races or challenges required to complete the 3 new menu books. You simply acquire the cars.

I just needed the RX8 to complete the Rotary menu. This got me the 6 star engine swap ticket, which span the roulette with a chance of winning any of five engines. I won the Audi R8 4.2 V8 😁

Not the most exciting engine, but at least it wasn’t a duplicate, and at least these swaps are now much more accessible, albeit in isolation. Only downside is that until PD give us another swap-specific ticket, we’re back to the long odds situation after we’ve claimed this one.

But it opens up the possibility of these tickets coming up again in the future. So that’s a very good thing indeed.

As far as S Parts go, I’m yet to hear of anything new. But time will tell 🤞🏻

Can't remember where I saw it, but someone earned a 6-star ticket from their workout that was specifically for parts. Yep, you heard that right.

Parts meta incoming. 😂

Really?! I can’t tell you how pleased I am about that! But still… chances of getting a part for a car we want 🤷🏻‍♂️
