I have been thinking more about Ole's Tournament of Evil (at least that's what I started calling it in my head) and I would like to propose a different version of it.

Ole's Tournament of Evil - a bracket based tournament not too dissimilar to Red Bull Crashed Ice and RallyCross.

Brackets - would be comprised of four drivers each racing one 5 lap race per round
Eliminations - the drivers who finish in third and fourth places in the races are eliminated from moving on
Moving on - First and second place move on to the next round
Next Rounds - The grid for the next race is set by the finish gap from the previous race, the pair that had a larger gap will start 1st (winner) and 4th (second place) and the smaller finish gap will start 2nd (winner) and 3rd (second place)
Evil - each round further into the tournament the cars get faster and harder to control and the tracks get more challenging to use the cars on. All cars will be oil changed with tuning prohibited.
Completing Rounds - Each round must be completed within a week so that the next round can be posted for the following week. Drivers can get together at any point during the week and report back the results before the required day.

Spare space?
I have 15 drivers and you make number 21.

Right now the first fifteen will be posted sometime today.
There will be two 1 hour races today. One early and one late for the weekend workers.

I'm sure you can jump in for those today and cross your fingers for Thursday.

More to come.

Where is GT7 when I needed it...NOW? :nervous:

Is this for the Daytona event?

Team Vodka Official Press Release:
We were excited to see our trailer arrive at the track this morning for some weekend testing!!!
Our driver is still in route so we will be employing some local talent to help make sure the #74 Corvette is dialed in.
The problem is is that when we opened up the trailer there we saw the Team Vodka White Ford GT.
The driver said he was basically blackmailed and forced to load the Ford instead...
So needless to say we will be running this today in the practice sessions and with limited time till the main event we may be forced to cater to our irreverent driver...
We may soon be renaming our team to "Team Dashed and Broken Hopes and Dreams"
Gotta go here come the Corvette reps
Wish us luck
AND IF YOU SEE OUR G** D*** DRIVER TELL HIM TO M***** ******* CALL ME!!!!!

If you want some ideas for cars. Take the ones I posted how ever you want.
I think you guys got a great idea and it could help avoid the "sorry the room is filled."
Maybe use the major sports leagues and their playoff system.
Maybe create divisions. North, East, South, and West.

Suggested ideas for teams.
-The Bare Knuckles
-Can't Dance Crew
-Splitting Headaches
-Too drunk to drive straight
-Greases Monkeys(home track Trial Mt)

Ok, lame names, but just an idea.

Run with the idea.

btw, tjger, will there be another session tonight??

around 8pm or 9pm EST..??? :)

:scared::scared::scared:

a trustworthy source hinted the press this morning that Team BMW Motorsport did a discreet testing session for the Team AMG driver alexmavis/alex, in order to pull a last minute changeover.

the test was going very productive and Team BMW mechanics did resolve some handling issues with the Z4 thus it is more to the driver's liking now.

However, final decision will be made tonight after a final testing session.

stay tune..

Polar Bear Official: After further testing in collaboration with BMW, Nissan Motorsport pulled aside our team owner, team principal, crew chief, and driver while the BMW men went for some lunch. Their offer was very promising: a fully prepared GTR with all the mechanics that can be thrown at it and a deal to run the same car at Spa later this year with all the same bells and whistles. The BMW guys took a conveniently long lunch for a bit of testing to be done on the GTR, and it was very fast, nearly as fast as the BMW. Nissan then hurriedly packed up and left sensing BMW were coming back, and on a full stomach the BMW guys made some tweaks to the car which then promptly went and set a blistering time. In doing so they killed Nissan's chance at having one of those very nice watches that BMW may well be wearing very soon and so too the big bear from the great white north. Nissan did however leave their offer for Spa on the table should the bears want to take it.

Hey guys!
My name is Patrick and I'm the "french guy"...^^

I saw Mannys great Videos on YouTube and I think, it would be nice to race with you sometimes...
I already tried on-line racing but im looking for fair driving and NOT for "box driving", if you see what I mean...

Oh, one more thing, my English speaking/writing is surely not perfect. Thanks in advance for understanding... ; )

Now wait and see how it works...

Greets from France!

Welcome to SAC! Not sure what you mean by 'box driving'

lol! I'm aware about it, as I said, I had a look at Mannys videos. Really crazy what's sometimes happening...

Oh, I've one more question: what's the meaning of "EST" e.g. 8pm EST?
Eastern Standard Time, you'll be on CET (Central European Time) in France I think?
Basically when a race starts at 8pm EST, it's 1am for me in the UK & I reckon 2am in France.

EST = Eastern Time Zone which is the time in the Eastern area in the US for example yours should be
CET = Central European Time
