A Lithuanian friend of mine recommended it. For me, if I need a mixer it's rubbish vodka. If I don't need a mixer, it's decent vodka. Generally as a guide, Stolichnaya (airport vodka in my experience) is the lowest quality that I can drink without a mixer. Anything better than that would be classed as "bloody lovely". I've been out on a quick job this morning, stopped off in 2 pubs on the way home for 2 pints in each. I intend to do some Tokyo practice soon but I think I'll give the Lithuanian Gold a try before I get behind the wheel. It may be the case that I can't drive at all by the time I get on the track.I await your review - I know nothing of Lithuanian vodka!!
A review will follow...
Update:
I wasn't really in a vodka mood but tasted it anyway for review purposes. I noticed a slight harshness which I will put down to my own lack of desire for vodka at that particular moment. It definitely does not require a mixer so will go in the book as "decent" vodka. I'm starting think that I may have got a taste for it now. So after some Tokyo practice, there could be a better review later.
Tokyo room open in 15-20 minutes. @o_OPaTricKO_o you're in my time zone. Will you be jumping in? Open to all of course, if anybody else is free.
