you say we can have 600pp OR 570hp?
not 600pp and 570 hp?
Just making sure it's one or the other.

If your car can have BOTH 600pp & 570HP then you should be ok.... Is all about TUNING. My 1st car is at 600pp with 545HP and 2nd one is at 595pp with 570HP!!

TUNING, TUNING, TUNING!!!!! :ouch:

my tuning will be turning the volume down so I don't have to hear the tires screaming bloody murder for 2 hours......

An awesome night of fun racing.👍
Thank you gentlemen for attending.

I actually set a world's record.
Finishing every race before the timer ran out.

So for those who left early and didn't hear my last comments.

Yes, I have a four hour erection and I'm not going to the doctor.:eek::eek::eek: :cheers: :crazy:

LMAO!!

I'm getting close to having to pay it I've been away from casual nights too much................
I think I just like the main events too much!!!

these snazzy number plates are giving me ideas of GT4 and GT3 class race potentials!!

perhaps have a string of 4-5 "1 car 1 track main events"....
running points for each event
1 car
1 track
60-90min
Start with a GT4 class event
5-7 cars to choose from... tune to PP, HP, power to weight like Sarthe and Suzuka, mainly street cars with no race livery, just number plates and ground effects - typical GT4 class cars

next event
1 car
1 track
60-90 min
but GT3 cars
again all tuned to FIA GT3 class specs again... maybe still no race cars...

then LMGT+ GT2 class
add race cars with race liverys - like the bmws and the vipers and the vettes and R8s and such
again another main event style race

and then GT1 class

or maybe after that finish off with another LeMans event and run multiple classes by then - who knows what game functionality we'll have by then

just bored at work, talking out loud.... not sure what "main events" are in the works already... I like the 1 track idea, but that's just me... could do two 45-50min races and pick 2 tracks perhaps.... this could really hurt someone in the points if they couldn't show for an event however... but could drive participation.... or maybe average their scores and give one score for the two races... But I like prepping for only 1-2 tracks as opposed to 4-5, that tends to water it down a bit for me...

cant wait to get home and download the update for a few hours and then paint some brakes
lol

Keep it up and you might just get what you're asking for. 💡 ;) 👍

Your ideas will definitely be copied and pasted to a word doc so I can review it some more.

 My main task is to balance the Casual fun racers with the Serious racers.
Our club has a great mixture of both. Last night was awesome. 👍 We had a consistent 13 cars on the track and in the room the entire night.

:bowdown:So Casual Nights will be for the fun racers. Five quick laps with a Car show format. 'Run what you brung'

 Main Events will be the middle ground. It will contain a number of tracks in an attempt to replicate a racing season.

 Grand Events will an all out attempt to simulate the real world of racing.

:yuck: Cost is my main concern as some of our members are still new to GT6 or don't have the extra time to raise funds.

So I have to balance it out. My plan is to forecast each night well in advance so everyone can plan accordingly.

So hang in there and keep talking out loudly.  💡 💡 Someone might hear you.

Like I said earlier and not afraid to repeat it.
I'm enjoying my erection after last night.:eek:

So I have copied your suggestions to a doc and will work with it. 👍

Feedback is what I'm always looking for.

What specs are these cars tuned to?

This 'number plate' option is fueling a lot of possibilities. Thanks PD
The question I was just going to post and I'm glad you did post these pictures.

Which plate do you guys like?
I'm leaning towards the square. The square with the Gran Turismo.

Ok, after lengthy discussions and numerous heads/tails moments   :nervous:

The McCarthy Racing Team will be driving .....for Lexus.
The Lexus Wedsport IS350 for the GT 300 Tour of Japan and the Lexus BANDAI SC430 for the GT 500 Grand Event.

What specs are these cars tuned to?

I'm too lazy to look up the real cars specs or even the specs for the different classes...
So for my "GT4 Class" I am tuning to a 2.25kg/hp power to weight --- this yields HP from 531-600 and PP ranges from 556-590pp depending on the HP of the Italian cars and the weight of the Astons

My GT3 Class I have tuned to 2.15 power to weight
my GT2 Class I have tuned to 2.05 power to weight
and my GT1 Class I have tuned to 2.00 power to weight

if I find that one of the cars I want in that class is out performing the others, I put some restrictions on it or harder tires... but the power to weight is an amazing starting point to keep them all tight

The GT3 cars are like the
Camero Touring Car, Gallardo LP560, GT3 Z4, GT3 GT-R, the Schultze version, the C7, the GT3 SLS, The R8 LMS, BMW M3, Lexus IS CCS-R, the Zr1, R8 Ultra, M3 motorsport BMW race cars
These are in the low 600s for PP

I like driving cockpit - so I have neglected some fine cars that are standard and kept them out of the field....

The GT2 cars are like the '98 Diablo, the Z06 LM race car, the R8 Ultra phoenix, the M3 GT2 Base Model, the Calsonic IMPUL GTR, the Xanavi Nissan Z, the YelloHat SUpra and the SLS stealth model - cars like that
These are lower in weight so the PP winds up being 580-620PP range

The GT1 cars are 2.0hp/weight - basically what we ran at Sarthe - lighter cars so the PP is still low 600s

so they all are high 500 low 600 pp cars... its just their platform and weight put them in a certain class...

I love having a stable of similar tuned cars that I know perform the way I want them too.... and in tuning to make them all similar - I find the fastest one or the best tune I like and spend as much time on the others trying to get them within a couple seconds...
Imagine a series like this yes... but also being able to instead of doing "one make races" for our casual nights - be able to have everyone be able to go to their "GT3 cars", we already have tweaked our LeMans 'GT1' cars, we have found our favorite GT300 and GT500 cars... I think these cars could all be tuned pretty tight as well and could provide some enjoyment...

and perhaps we have a lottery system for chosing cars... only allow 2 of any one model in a race - so we don't have 9 Ferraris and one R8... perhaps put the winner of a previous event at a slight disadvantage in picking early in the next round or something...
In racing you don't get to pick your car - your car picks you....
we're just getting crazy now!!!
