Gentlemen this race will be about planning and quick thinking.
So plan ahead. What you intend to accomplish at the start, middle of the race, and the final stint.
Quick thinking will be about changing your 'plan ahead plan' because of grid position, traffic, and your car's overall health. ie. Horsepower loss due to oil wear..

Last bit of advise. This is an endurance race. A Grand Event! You must mentally and physically prepare yourself. Good Luck.

This is an Official Announcement Sheet from your Spinning Arrows Club Management Team.
Always striving for the best

Now let's make it perfectly clear.
The Tour of Japan GT 300 is a very short version of what is run in the real world.
We could have spread it out over several weeks and made it longer(laps).

The Spinning Arrows Club is a great bunch of drivers from several time zones and countries around the world.
We must keep in mind everyone has a life outside of our virtual cars. Shift workers, growing families, and other obligations too numerous to mention.

This Club was formed on the 8:00 PM EST Thursday night start time.
Changing the time for the Main Event is no big deal. We could have taken Tokyo and Special Stage Route 5 off of the schedule and we would have started at 9:00 PM EST. The last race of the night is my biggest concern. I don't want any of you getting injured on Friday due to a lack of sleep Thursday night.

That's why I try to keep you guys informed well in advance. So you can make arrangements.

On August 28th we will run the Grand Event. It will start at 8:00 PM. Period. To the millionth power multiplied by a billion.

The race will be exhausting to say the least. Everyone will wish they got rested up Wednesday night.
So make arrangements now.

Thursday night we'll have a little fun and a little serious racing. So consider the extra week an opportunity to retune your car or get an oil change plus a wash and wax job.

August 28th there will be no fun, seriously.

👍 Well Team the GT300 is Almost here and I don't have a sponsor yet! Maybe because I keep asking for a Green car and they don't have one.

For now I put a video for the TEAM and I hope you guys like it. 👍

I can't Wait for WORLD TOUR JAPAN GT300

On August 28 I already take a day off and 29 is my regular day off
I'm good for that:lol::gtpflag:

Problem is August 7 Tour of Japan (son of the gun)

I guess that makes three of us taking off Aug 28th.

Ok back to business.
Everyone has had plenty of time to practice for the Tour of Japan. At least a month.
There are no excuses to ask for additional time to practice on the day of the race. The BOSS is even going to give everyone and extra hour(8:00PM-9:00PM). So everyone, you have 48+hours to be ready.

The Tour of Japan will start at 9:00 PM EST OR as soon as our two late runners(me included) PULL our cars out of the garage and park them on pit row. I'm ready.

So for those you who want teams and team drivers. Here's your perfect opportunity to show it.
Grab your team mate and ask..."Are you ready?" 48+ to set up a room and practice some more.

If we cut out the 'make-up' and 'does this dress make me look fat' between races, we could finish the entire Tour thursday night. Hmmm, never thought about that tjger. Wow,...

The BOSS is considering limiting the time between races to five minutes. That is to allow the drainage of bodily fluids.

So proof me wrong gentlemen.
Do you have what it takes to be race car driver or should we race Mario Karts?

For those that are ready.
I'll will open the Suzuka track tonight at 8:00 PM EST for filming our trailer for the Suzuka GT 500 Grand Event.
Basically few laps around the circuit and some in/out of the pits action shots.

So if you want to be part of the video, join us.

Hi. Good evening. Looking good to join a race series. Did have a dfgt wheel. Need to get another after getting back into gran tourismo

Used to be in a group called a/v forums. That's seems to have died. Please send friend request to buttondave. So I can start some practice session. I'm a clean and safe driver and have played all gt series.

If your interested, please send a FR via the PSN to Tarkus1 and he'll add you to the drivers list. Please note that we are in the US Eastern Standard Time Zone. If this is still OK with you, send the request.

I think it would be great to have the OEM cars for the video.
However I don't want anyone left out or get the wrong impression.
So having base models in the video is fine.

I think a few side by side racing shots would be nice.
Also a few shots of cars dashing into the pits should be enough.
I think watching the various pit crews scrabble would be nice.

 ADDED: Just to let you guys know. I've seen the preview of the trailer.
It is AMAZING. There's a great clip on the main straight where two GT-R are dueling for turn 1. Also another one where the #36 Lexus is coming up fast to over take the Calsonic GT-R, then swerve around another car. The car introduction.....oh yeah. Especially the HSV-10s.

 DOUBLE ADDED: I finally got around to watching the latest video. 👍 👍.
Team Nissian and Team Lexus ran great.

make sure don't catch the moment my crews flirting with the pit-babes.... :dunce::dunce:

I don't have to worry about that.
My girls roughed up a few pit babes for getting to close to me.

Of course after the race I got roughed up for looking.

yes you can.
make sure you also FR mazda3pro.

Right now I'm back in the office working so I won't return your FR tonight.

However mazda3pro has a room open.

Ok filming additional footage for the GT 500 trailer is done.
Ha ha ha, very fun and informative. One pit crew was way too slow. :ouch:

So word of advice.
Pay your crew wisely and practice with them. 💡
Is it possible GT 6 has simulated various pit crews?
Slow, fast, and forgetful? I'm not yet convinced, but I'm not taking any chances. :nervous:
