I was talking about the driver names floating above each car while online racing, not the driver list on screen.

I was too. Once it is removed from your replays you won't see it in the online rooms either.

Ok folks, this works! You can turn off those annoying floating names while online

Each person would have to enter "Watch Race" after joining room. Then go to "Quick Options" and change "Display Driver Name" to "Off". You can then leave the watching screen and go onto the track and presto, no more stupid floating names

You can do this from the main menu options also. You don't have to do this from an online room

I stand corrected. I just checked and it can only be turned off from an online room. My apologies. I thought that I was able to disable the names from outside of an online room

Yes

Each person who enters the room configures their own display, so if some likes them being there, its up to the them.

Just wanted to say I had fun and sorry for leaving early. You are all pretty good racers. I might have fared a little better had I not bought my car 5 mins before the race . Although I don't think I will ever catch up to some of you. Anyway, thanks and I hope to see you next Thursday!

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out and putting on a great display of clean driving. You new guys really made a name for yourselves and did a great job so congrats to you on that.
I also wanted to say to everyone that since this is gaining in popularity, please be patient if the room says its full. Most of the time (especially on casual nights) people come and go randomly so be patient as most likely someone will be dropping out soon enough. Its all good though and thanks again to all of you. It was a great night of racing!!!!
