And no tire restrictions? So RS ok?
Mik, if you're referring to the NASCAR race you are correct, although depending on the laps, I do recommend running on RH. During previous casual nights we've successfully run 25 lap races which did require a pit. Most people running RS tires would require a couple stops but running the RH gives a huge advantage.

no restriction on tires, you can even use Comfort Hard if you like...
Tried them, they're awesome!

Ok, I know the talk around the town is the upcoming grand event, which promises to be spectacular BTW. But prior to that race, there are still numerous casual races to be held. This weeks races are a little continuation from the last casual night since they were prematurely cancelled due to internet issues. So without holding you all up any further:
race 1 - 550PP Vote For Track any car.
race 2 - 525-700PP VFT and last place finisher selects PP from within this wide range.
race 3 - 500 PP club VFT.
race 4 will be a "one make" around deep forest in reverse. the car is TBD but expect a road car.
race 5 - 500-600PP VFT and 1st place finisher at previous race picks exact PP.
race 6 - 570-625PP VFT and 1st place finisher of previous race picks exact PP.
race 7 - 647PP VFT
race 8 - 15 lap race around Daytona in NASCARS with heavy damage. be careful guys, the damage doesn't go away. to make it a little less stressful we will have a rolling start.
race 9 - Daytona winner picks track and next PP!!!!! yes, Karts ARE in play here!
race 10 - 550PP road cars only VFT similar to last main event.
race 11 - 550PP concept cars only (prototypes also allowed)
race 12 - second one make race. This time VFT. Car TBD but expect a race car with relatively high PP. choose the track wisely people.

depending on time, we will continue with VFT and club will decide PP limits although I'll probably be too drunk or tired to notice at this point.

Hey, what's the big deal with NASCAR and RS tires? Got booted out because I was using RHs.

I'm rolling in the 2010 Jeff Gordon NASCAR (appropriate, since my Altima has a Jeff Gordon plateholder)

I swear, I'm going to strangle Mallet and destroy his impostor 2J if I can't best his time on Monza.
Scary stuff, I'll go on later today & set a slower time so you can beat me.

I am going to destroy you, Mallet. Just wait until Thursday.
On an unrelated note, I won't make it on Thursday but the option of 700pp looks tasty. I have a couple of LMP's that can pressure the 2J.

Will the real 2J please stand up, I repeat! Will the real 2J please stand up!!
We are going to have a problem here.... Lmao!!
You might need to be on standby to give @Obelisk some counselling if I accidentally improve my time. I left at least a second on the track. I had set myself a target of 1:30 in the Peugeot before allowing myself a few laps in the 2J.

Well, both 2Js are real.
I just drive better at 650pp and he's better at 700pp.
You mean you're not as good at driving it fast? ;)

Oh dear, I may have upset the laundry man. I'm off to hide. :nervous:

@Obelisk I actually cheated on the seasonal... I did it while sober

Edit: Hey O.B, update for you.

Mallet- I'm more of a lower speed driver. I usually am really quick with anything 650 or below.
I was really just joining in with your banter & rivalry. It felt like you were trying to spice things up & have a bit of a fun with your fellow Spinning Arrows members. Your time is quick, I had expected to see you catch me so I have to try again to beat you. Just got myself a bit more head start today so I'll be ready for it when you do.

Well, I had a lot of trouble with my 2J yesterday. It was giving me a lot of flak over the lines I was using.

I know you've used the car a lot, go to pit service & see if body rigidity has begun to deteriorate. The stability can be much better after a restore if it has.

If you ever want a tune or lap description or anything you can message or have a look in the seasonal event threads so we keep the club thread a bit clearer.
While we're here anyway though, I used the tune by jontikis & there's a newer one by gt_rajman that seems to be getting good reviews.
You know I'm not up there as anything like the fastest in this club so what this shows is that with a bit of effort all kinds of things are possible. Give it another bash (I know you will). 👍👍

My 2J is a Praiano tune meant to be quick on any track.
