Here's how this is gonna work: I don't want to win because I had a better car, so if that's not a tune for a '97 RZ,I automatically win because I'm tired of waiting for mazdaman. I've been waiting since August. If it is a '97 RZ, fastest lap at the 'Ring wins. No 1/4 mi crap, no NOS. The better tuner will win.

Also, the only reason I didn't get anything to you for the 1/4 mile challenge was mainly lack of a camera/proof. And because I didn't get around to the Cosmo in time.
Got a 9.6xx, 9.635 or so is what I remember but I think it went quicker at some point.

I lost my settings for the Galant after I tested it, but I can recreate that 9.7 (9.79x) runner in no time.
On the otherhand I can publish my Mazda 110S settings that got me to 10.144 if anyone's interested.
Now about the Nurburgring challenge..
Here it is:
Arcade mode>Time Trial mode> Nurburgring
N1-S3 tyres (drivers choise)
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C1) 1954
-20% power
+10% weight
No driving aids
transmission: mt/at (users choise)
Then the important part:
Options>Arcade>Time limit 600
The point of this challenge: Use the lowest tyre grade possible to complete the lap before time runs out.
Start from a tyre grade of your choise, then move to less grippyer tyres as you get used to the track and the car's handling.
Mixing of tyres is allowed, but not prefered.
Also you can post your progress, what tyre combo you used and the time you reached.

I gave it a quick shot and using N1's, managed a sloppy, off-road 9'07. I had about 35 seconds on the timer. I might put up some splits later so others can see where to aim at 👍
Edit: I managed 9'05, with a T2 of 1'40.567, T5 of 4'08.187, and a T8 of 6'39.418. There's room for another 5-6 seconds.

Those times are way too good for the original plan I had.. I must have written some part wrong..
mcsqueegy, you were this mutch ahead at the checkpoints of my test lap on N1's :T2 5.5 sec T5 14 sec T8 27 sec lap 40 sec.
I apologise about the mistake I made in the challenge release post.
The post was supposed to read +10% weight instead of -10% Changing it now.

Here it is, the KEI CAR TOP SPEED CHALLENGE!! Here's the deal.....
Any car under 1000cc. Any drivetrain is allowed. Rules as per the 300mph thread! The rules are:
1. All speeds must be proven!
-1.1 All speeds must be proven by photograph of the Session Record screen showing your maximum speed in miles per hour to go onto the Leaderboard.
-1.2 All class-record-breaking speeds (Hall of Fame records) and any speed of 350.00mph or greater must be proven by video replay, including Session Record display recorded directly before and/or after the run replay.
-1.3 Video proof can be requested for any particular speed which is suspected of breaking any rule(s).
-1.4 All types of proof should be posted by you in this thread.
2. At no point in your run must any of the car's wheels leave the ground. At no point in your run must your car make contact with any barrier, visible or invisible.
3. All speed runs must be made at the Test Course in Max Speed Test mode.
4. You must not at any point in your top speed attempt travel backwards around the course.
5. Nitrous is allowed where available.
6. Whether a car is catagorised as road or racing class is usually very clear, however in some situations it is not. My decision is final when there is doubt on this.
7. No cheat systems or cheat codes are allowed.
8. You may share settings in this thread if you wish, however nobody can force you to do so.
9. Please act with courtesy and respect at all times

Pfft, it's not that hard
I gave the Suzuki Cappucino a shot before and hit ~315km/h. Also I had a try with the Mazda 110S and got 373km/h, which will be around the highest speed for under 1000cc.
