After the Monday test run with my mellon (LOTR again ;) ), yesterday I was a little bit faster - or was I faster with the Viper? I don't remember :( .
6th lap, 1:49.830 :) with the 650s. It's very easy to drive (more stable on the curbs than the NSX) but with BB 0 I've killed the rear tires after 8-9 laps *Ken Block mode on*.

You are faster than me! Best I managed with the 'vette after 10 laps was 1:50.8. On the plus side the tyres felt fine. I jumped into the Aston and did a 1:50.3 after 3 laps.

It wasn't a clean lap - first chicane is hard :( . Maybe I could shave of 0.1-0.2 sec with a good first and last chicane. But I'm faster with the big bad snake. Probably a low 49(?) if I just run laps without switching cars every 2 laps...

Yeh, so defiantly faster. Whilst I did manage a 1:50.8, most of my laps were 1:51s. I know I'm not getting a good flow through the first chicane, and it's slow to get going again after the exit, but I didn't seem to have the issue of spinning out on the orange sausage. Hopefully no one has major lag. When I did the GrC lobby one of the other cars was laggy and got grumpy with me because from *his* perspective, while he was practically stopped at the first chicane, I slammed into him and knocked him spinning into the sand. From my perspective, I got distracted, missed my braking point, and I ended up in the blocks. I saw no car there to hit :crazy:.

The 49.830 was a lucky lap :scared:. I have problems in the first corner with the braking point and I always forget to turn in time coming out of it :S . Yes, it sounds stupid...
Tonight I'll try a full (8-9 laps) stint with the Viper. We'll see what happens :boggled:.

Alright, practice lobby open for tonight. Will run from now for approx. 90 minutes total. We will do a 9 lap test race around Monza at 20:15 CET / 19:15 BST to finish the session off.

Thx everybody for showing up to the test lobby, was good to get a first glimpse of Friday's possible performances. I think I've commited to a car and # now, but I fear it will definetly relegate me at least to the back of the Pro class, but honestly, I'd be there anyway ;)

So I am gonna go with the Volkswagen GTI VGT. I like that it looks like a weird Hot Rod. It is however hard to find nice replica liveries for it, but luckily there is this #6 Sunoco one by floGTI88, which I plan on running:

Any chance you guys are still taking additional Reserves to the roster? I might only be available for a few of these (especially the Jan/Feb/March races), but on the times I'm around and there is room on the grid, I'd like to try to get in on this. I'm at a Driver Level A.

If so, ill post my official sign up entry.

After watching horrific amount of Youtube videos/jumping in random GR.3 lobbies/etc, I think these are the rare cars in the Series:
SRT Viper
Peugeot RCZ
Mitsubishi EVO X
VW GTI VGT
Hyundai Genesis (my old favourite from when I ran Daily races...👍)
McLaren 650s
Jaguar F-Type(?)

@R_Goldstreiff the GTI VGT as a Hot Rod? I never thought of that but now that you mentioned... yes :D . Awesome :D !
