After watching horrific amount of Youtube videos/jumping in random GR.3 lobbies/etc, I think these are the rare cars in the Series:
SRT Viper
Peugeot RCZ
Mitsubishi EVO X
VW GTI VGT
Hyundai Genesis (my old favourite from when I ran Daily races...👍)
McLaren 650s
Jaguar F-Type(?)

@R_Goldstreiff the GTI VGT as a Hot Rod? I never thought of that but now that you mentioned... yes :D . Awesome :D !

So not that different to the FIA Manufacturers Series then. Mitsubishi, Hyundai, VW and SRT seem to fail to attract the elite drivers needed to compete for the top spots.

I mean until my switch to BMW for this season Exhibition Series, I was one of the top 4 driver in Oceania for Mitsubishi and I'm only a B Ranked driver.

Does anyone have a reference time for monza?
Im kinda lost because
1. I'd never driven this car before
2. All track guides on YT are
a) very old, from when BoP and the game physics were different
b) with power cars, like the nissan, that are insanely good around monza, much better than "regular" cars.

I dont know about low 46's  do that and your off into the distance! I think i had a 46.8 round there in race trim, with low/mid 47's as consistent/safe from penalties sort of laps.

Not sure the McLaren will be at its best round Monza though, should be rapid at some of the other tracks I would have thought.

I ran a pre-race test earlier today with full race settings and I was lapping 49s consistently all the way through the stint at race pace by myself (so no slipstream). Best lap was a 1:49.037 but I put a string of laps down within 0.5s of that time. Discounting laps where I made mistakes the slowest was a 49.9.

The tyres held up fine all through lap 9, by lap 10 they were showing their wear and I had to pit for fuel at the end of lap 11 so I don't know how far they can go before they lose too much pace. Given the amount of wear on the most worn tyre I'd say they had at least 1 lap left.

This is without concerning myself at all about conserving either fuel or tyres, I wanted to know how far I could go to give myself an idea about pit strategy. I mean, we're going to pit anyway so there's not much to gain from conserving.

Monza is a good track for the Vette :)

Im doing mid 48s in race pace and i honestly dont see where im losing that much time... my guess is straight line speed really, but it will be a very though race.

Yeah plus the McLaren is a mid corner beast, chicanes and braking zones aren't really where it's at its best..

If I'm running another practice session I'll put it on here, it's a good way to see where you're gaining/losing relative to eachother

Unfortunately couldn't find a half asleep creature with bed head with which to respond, but anyway .

Final round of testing/practice, this time to see how many laps I get out of a tank. The tank indicator shows full at the start of the session. I had to pit at the end of lap 11 for fuel. The tyres were still ok, but I was starting to feel them going. A better driver would probably be getting more laps out of them.

Race day =) Yo peepz, I think I need a bit of practice before the race starts to get in the groove, so - in case there isn't a practice lobby open already then - I'll open up a last minute practice lobby from 20:00 to 20:30 CET / 19:00 to 19:30 UK before the race lobby opens - or do you sometimes open these early @paoloevans ?

That's cool.

The lobby will be open bang on 19:30.
