I think I can manage a couple of Tuesdays in a row at the present, so I will join you for the Nurb, I'll go with the Clio please. As it is down to 15 slots, if you need a spot for a regular, just give me the boot!

And congrats on the season win @SGETI ! You're Awesome twice this week!

So in light of that, and next weeks 747 Flight Night, here are my picks for those two races. Everyone else get yours in!

What ever happened to friday nights. Mosport can be used as an excuse for some.

Life can be an excuse for others. Or maybe some are just a little burnt out to be racing all week. No one is required to show up, enough guys here are friends they can put something together on a whim, doesn't require any organizing or babysitting. ;) The slow nights with Grim and I we will get in public rooms and wreck shop.

You have that info? I mean if it was ready, that would have been something to test out.

Listen up gang, i was doing some Caterham practice this morning and I realized tire temps will not come up properly until your actually in the race itself. So weather you practice in qualifying mode, practice mode, or warmup mode i want you to be aware! I set my tire pressure in a qualifying room this morning and then went to the race and had a bunch of red tires :banghead::confused::banghead::confused:. So I basically kept adjusting tire pressure then entering the race till i got it right 👍. I hope this helps some of you because it definitely helped me :D. I was running 1:13's all morning with race fuel and the same with qualifying fuel, didn't seem to matter :yuck:. I had posted i ran a 1:11 a few days ago  i have no clue if and how i did that because im nowhere close to it, so im pretty sure i was smoking the same stuff Lobban was with his 1:08's

Just a heads up to let you know I won't be taking part in this Caterham event this coming Tuesday 23 May.
This car gives me no joy driving. Much too sluggish. Far more for driving or driving with it for 47 laps. That is just much too long for me personally, will bore me to death and drive me crazy. All the best with the event though. I be rooting for you guys.

That's too bad man. I found that driving cars like this, especially for so many laps really helped improve my skills. They force you to be so precise with your inputs, something that translates into speed in any of the other cars in this game. Carry too much speed into a turn, or scrub too much off and it takes half a lap to recover.

Yea I was finding the same thing. I'm running about the same pace. A flawless lap got me a 1:12.65 but I'm usually around a 1:22.8 in qualifying.

#60 In the Mclaren for the Nurb Combined. But If you want to even up the numbers at all, ill switch to the Clio #45 (So far i see 4-4, 5-4 if Mphile makes it)

No worries man, I'm sorta in the same boat, but gonna stick it out.

What about the Nurburgring race?

Not able with that Nurburgring 24 hour marathon either bro. Same story. Much too long. 90 minutes for one race lord amighty...and that Nurb combined track long no ass eh. Again will drive me crazy. I wish we had some series with shorter laps, at least would be more tolerable.
Right now I'm doing one of the 25 hour races in Career at 1% duration and the average time for that is about 1hr.45mins to 2 hours. Currently pausing the race in-between numerous times to try and keep sane. Also just waiting to run out of gas to pull into the pit and let the AI take over for the rest of the race.

I'm considering doing the ATS - V.R Cadillac Series carded to start June 6 but even with that I would have preferred one race instead of two races with each race being 15-20 laps per race on the night. And that is just the races itself not including practice and qualifying.

David, that almost sounds DPish. Racing is not all about fast cars all the time. Some of the most competitive and fun racing is done in slower cars. A slower car on a shorter track for a lot of laps teaches rhythm and consistency and should be right up your alley to get better than you have shown so far. Hey, I don't like vintage cars, but I race them even though I suck in them because I like being part of the group and will always respect another guys combo picks. (Yeah, I picked this combo and I know I can't make everyone happy, so, pppphhhht, I fart in your general direction). 47 laps will take about an hour, just like all the other endurance races in SRM.

I just read the last post. Starting to sound more like DP every minute. Don't like this, don't like that, sheeesh. David, there are other leagues that are already set up the way you want to race. . You are the junior guy and have no say whatsoever in what and how the league is set up and run.

Lobban chill bro , David told me from day one he wont be doing long races. This came as no surprise to us, we were informed.

No, I farted in everyone's direction, and yes, I am bitchy,(not off the meds....please). This is what happens when you get too old to think before typing. I think I was being a little defensive about my combo pick.....now I feel bad....not that bad yet to go out and get bullets for the gun, maybe in a few more years when my dimentia kicks in to 6th gear.

LOL. Farting in everyone's direction is even funnier. It's no probs bro. No offence was taken. It's all good. I love the banter.

Don't second guess your combo. I love the outside the box stuff and the variety all these wackadoos bring to the table. ;)
