Haha, someday you will have your wheel and then the poaching will begin
. We may lean on you a bunch for info on this stuff. We are rookies when it comes to AJ's events. How many drivers? Do we have to run all the events? How do you swap drivers? All this stuff i have no clue? I think samsung did one of these events? Maybe he has some knowledge on the details as well?
You can try all you like but I quite like my manager position for Spinning Arrows
.
One thing to look out for is that AJ made a point of it this year that each class in the GT6 area of the series will do at least one 24 hour race. That comes with a minimum of 4 drivers in the race, and a maximum I think of 5. It's always good to enter the maximum and have one them on standby duty in case someone has an emergency or other thing come up. You may or may not have a 24 hour race in your schedule, it really depends on when he gets everything put together for the year I would think as there will be quite a few new teams since he's moving to a new game.
Something else to watch is your driver ratings, granted all of you guys that aren't already on a team (I recognize a couple from GT6 events) because some classes come with maximums to allow drivers of lesser skill compete.
Example: The current GT3 classes in the GT6 iteration are divided into PRO and AM classes. The PRO class is allowed to be fully stacked with the highest rated drivers (Platinum), while the AM class may have one Platinum driver, one Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze as the maximums.
As far as I know you do not have to run all the events in the season, however it is recommended you do to ensure you're invited back for the next season. Being a free to enter, franchise based series, AJ really wants to ensure all the grid spaces are filled. You can hire drivers to race for you if not enough guys on the team want/are able to, so don't think you have to only have a specific set of drivers for the season.
Driver swaps on Project Cars is a whole different story from GT6 swaps because GT6 has clubs, so as long as you're in the club you can join the room. I don't know much about it on this game but I think he sends you a room invite and then at the time of your driver swap the guy in the room leaves, you accept the invite, and then get in. That's my best guess, I do believe Samsung can confirm or deny that being correct as I think he was in the test event late last year.
Im thinking i may want to try it, my only issue is long stints over 2hrs, im not a big fan racing that long without a break(good thing i have a pee jug)
You may have a slight problem with that depending on the race length, since you want to make as few pit stops and driver changes as possible because they take time up (DC's especially). This season so far, I don't think I've run a stint less than 3 hours long because the car needs to be out there running in order to keep it near the front (Although PSN has had other ideas about cars I drive being at the front).
Here's the link to the current Sporting Regs, don't worry about the yellow since you probably haven't been through them before. That's for everyone else to just quickly find the most recent changes, do note however that they do change a decent amount since the series is still young and finding good balances on things is an on going process.

I wouldn't go anywhere near saying I'm the best TM in the series, but if you have any questions just ask me and I'll see what I can do to help.
