Im looking to do some formula gulf practice tomorrow morning-ish if anyone is feeling it? No tunning to do, so we can just run the races to get a feel for them.

I got bored and started watching some videos for A/C tonight. Looks like we will give up some graphics compared to PCars but the sound will be better from what my ears tell me . Im more than ready to move on at this point, and i can't control myself so i shared a bunch of this spank material . so enjoy this for now, and soon enough we will be living the next game for SRM to take our group to the next level of sim racing . My only hope is it works 50% better then PCars and we will be on the right track .

I guess the M3 has those hovering 5 foot wiper blades? Nice feature. These video's give me less hope that Assetto Corsa will be less of a savior, and more of a supplement to pCars.

EDIT: That video IS 2 years old though... so we'll see.

Race Day Alert

Ok tonight is the first 2 events of the non tunning Formula Gulf Series . This is our first open wheel series, there will be hurt feelings im assuming . So try to give room(extra room that is) to your competitors and dont be that guy forcing the issue lap one with these cars . Aggressive driving will also probably end up with you on your lid , so again i can't stress enough to be kind tonight! I have run a few practice races with 3-5 guys and the draft will make you feel like you have a v12 in there, don't assume you can dive bomb then hold that position to next corner, the guy behind you now has draft and will get ya back . This is going to be fun , im excited for this one guys, help SRM prove we can rock any car we get into! See you guys tonight .

so, since I needed more traction I decided to convert my GTi into AWD, via an Audi TT Quattro rear end transplant:

if anyone is in Toronto and wants to feel what 0-60 in 3.6 feels like.... I can help you out

Holy macaroni! What a hoot! Craziness doesn't begin to describe the start to this series. But a lot of fun all around, most everyone seemed to get a good feel for their cars by Race #2. Apologies to Playa for the bump at Bugatti that spun him out. Waited up for you but I'm assuming there were some vulgarities thrown around. haha.

Well, we would like you to come along for the ride! The Tuesday series is currently full, but we can add you as a reserve if you'd like. Fridays are fair game though. 8PM EST both days. a fun/random/crazy night racing with a bunch of jokers. I think a couple other SNAIL guys hop in on Fridays with us from time to time. Would be great to have you along as well!
