Haha should be a fun night !
Hopefully my GIMX software doesn't crap out like last time lol

The thing I've found with it is the software runs out of memory to use if you've been playing games or watching videos that day, it's always good to make sure you're on a fresh start up on your computer and you'll be able to run it for hours upon hours. The other thing to make sure of is that your cables running the controller to the computer and the mod to the PS4 are all in great shape. It seems to be picky about which cables it'll work with and not.

I didn't want to jinx him by posting this info, but if he crashes its your fault . I do know its super cool that guys in this group meet up and do stuff like this for each other , BR has spent many of nights on the phone helping me set my wheel stuff up, we have a bunch of good friends in this group 👍
I'm sure you guys were just setting up your wheel

Yesir that's what I do just about everytime ,and yes please make sure the cables are sheilded , which idk why but they have to be in order to run it. it's just random times it will shut down or turn off.

Met the Grimmxxxxripperxxxxxxxxxxx today. I like his wife better than him. Lol. Drive safe Dave and I hope you guys get organized before race time tonight.
Haha :lol::lol:, he said i like your wife better, this cracked me up!

:gtpflag:Race Day Alert :gtpflag:

Rounds 3&4 tonight in the LMP2 series :D. First we head to Catalunya GP where the curbs could bite you at any moment :scared:, then last race Sanoma GP where it will be a rhythm track and demands you to hit your marks to avoid the desert :scared:. Look forward to see everyone on track tonight 👍👍

LOL, Sonoma is not in the desert, that would be Willow Springs. Yeah, it's dry up here, but not desert-cactus dry. :P

Well that's how my race went lol

Absolutely BRUTAL night! The track selection was on point and challenging as 🤬 in these machines! I understand there may have been some Bumping and Grinding going on. Ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of that. Just keep it amongst yourselves.
I think it should first to spin wins lol
Let it be known that TEAM ALPINE is done with your winning shenanigans @GTracerEHTeam . TEAM ALPINE is here to take you down! War has been declared! May the last one to spin, win!

Whaaaaat?? This old guy drove the Orica and did just fine. I think the tires wore well and the car cornered better due to my tuning tweaks. If I had known it was considered an inferior car, I would have picked another, but no worries, the Orica and I have an agreement.... i keep her inbounds and she will keep me near the front.

Alright boyz, we got Grim all set up and taking his first baby steps into wheel driving and I've got Mike's old wheel all set up and running. Boy what a difference in the pedals, I really need to get used to how hard I have to push the pedal now. This is at least twice as hard as the Fiesta I drive around, probably around 3 or 4 times so thanks Mike for giving this big challenge to me. Anyway, I know a couple guys were interested in seeing my race rig so wait no further. Here is the rig set up earlier today for just DFGT driving.

Then, here is what it looked like at about 7 pm this evening.

I had to move the arm rest over about 4 or 5 inches to the shifter mount would fit in a reasonably comfortable place for shifting and operating the buttons on the menus. I'm pretty happy with it, the only thing I need to make a change to is the pedal area. I thought I left my feet enough room to sit on the pedal platform but it wasn't even close, so I stuck an extra piece of 2x4 under the lip to help for now until I figure out a proper fix.

Hey just a suggestion , if you would like better pedal feel I would recommend trying to invert them if you have enough room.

Im just going to address my stupid :censored:ing behavior Tuesday night. First off i rage quit and that has never happened in my career of online league racing, and i dont promote that at all! I was worked up after lap one turn one, then second race same thing lap one turn one . I was at the tipping point and I needed to remove myself because i was mental :banghead:. I also need to practice what i preach and remember its all for fun and not to take it so seriously. So again as a leader within this group i need to do better, and not have that happen again. Ive also sent a PM apologizing to another driver because i bumped them off the track and its wasn't the correct way to pass, and i dont drive that way. So again to the group im sorry for bailing out on race 2.

Interesting idea but you're right in thinking I don't have enough room at the moment. Maybe on the next build when I've moved out I'll be able to do that, although I'm planning something much bigger for that one.
