Well it's $43 for the game and season pass. The cars are fantastic. AC is the best handling game I've played. Yes it needs some tweeks but it's good.

Okay, I get it, Assetto Corsa is good in some areas. I'm still not going to buy it, we've argued about this in the comments of the article and now it's here. I consider Assetto Corsa on consoles a poorly ported money grab with DLC to be seen for miles to come and it lacks basic features for club/league/series racing. I have also heard it handles a lot like iRacing, which is a good thing but I already have iRacing. So why would I buy something that's almost iRacing with a total track list 5.5 times smaller than that of which I already have. My last draw would be this club, but how many of us regularly play Assetto Corsa? I don't keep track but it's certainly a single digit number, if an above zero number at all.

OK so it handles like iRacing which costs how much? How much for a car,in iRacing, speaking of DLC? Yes it's not perfect, neither was PCars. For $43 Canadian you get all the cars and tracks. How many tracks do you actually race in any given game anyhow? Let me add this too. This guy actually drives Porsches for real.
His name is panjandrum, look him up on AC forum
Anyone else want to try a back-back comparison?
I've already done some comparisons (and written them up elsewhere here on gtplanet, if you want to bother looking.) The TLDR version is simply this: in PCars, the YB feels nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, like real rear-engined Porsches of the era (which I drive in amateur motorsports). FFB is totally wrong, there is almost zero weight-transfer, and my control-inputs do not in any way provide control of the in-game car like they do in RL. Basically, put me in the YB in PCars and I find it close to impossible to drive, because I know how these cars drive, and it's simply 100% wrong in PCars, so my muscle-memory is of zero use. On a scale of 1-10 I rate PCars a 1 in simulating a rear-engined Porsche (even GT4 is much, much, much, much better). On the other hand, the opposite is true in AC in all cases. The FFB provides me with incredibly familiar feedback compared to a RL Porsche, and my control inputs are accurately modeled to the car in-game. My muscle-memory moves seamlessly between RL machine and virtual machine in Assetto Corsa. Basically, AC is far and away the best SIM I've felt to-date at getting these rear-engined machines modeled correctly. I rate AC a 9 out of 10 in this regard.

Thats worth $ 43 bucks to me!

No one replies on the AC threads. I just wanna ask who has the season pass and DLC for it because I need to ask you a question. Please send me a private message.

We are DTM racing tomorrow night if you want in? Page one has all the info for ya, let us know?

I will make it on the round of 20th Dec, have to renew the PS+ membership, most likely will only be able to do Monza cos finish work late.

Will put down my number in these couple days. 👍

have to send you a FR too, LOL.

Sup duder!? Nice to see you. :D

pretty good man!! haven't been racing with you guys for a while, SAC is on sabbatical at the moment thus my hands are getting itch...

Plus my tennis elbow is stopping me from playing tennis thus Tuesday and Friday I have nothing much to do... LOL

Glad to see you guys and I am happy to see SRM is getting so well developed and organized.

Kudos to Mphile and all the drivers!

change your tires to Slick Hard or Intermediate, that should bring you two much closer and fair...:lol:

:gtpflag:Race Day Alert :gtpflag:

Ok boys, tonight is rnd 3&4 of the DTM series :D. Last week we seen some tire management/pit strategy take race one, race two was won by a guy who sat patient and pounced when the time was his 👍. Lets see how tonight unfolds, see everyone tonight .

Pretty sure I'm not going to make it tonight. If I get off remotely close to the race time, I'll probably be way to tired to even get on lol
Good luck in the race.

Team Alpine has just been thrown to the wolves... THE WOLVES!! :dunce:

Great night of racing fellas!! We really need to get ahold of @GTracerEHTeam 's pit crew and bribe them to loosen the bolts holding his rear wing on so the moment he punches the DRS button that thing takes to the skies, never to return!

The LAST SRM EVENT OF 2016 is next Tuesday! Hope to see everyone there.
