Like Gnome, thanks for the great racing last night. Looking forward to more races with you guys if there is space.

Mphile, sorry for that lockup and subsequent take out. That was embarrassing.:boggled:

Bear, was that vette slow on the straights of Bathurst or what??
CB, you and the other new guys all have a spot with us every week now, that spot is yours!

As for the collision it happens, but the most important thing was you stopped and allowed me to get going and I respect that . That is the most proper thing to do in my opinion, i like a good gentleman’s agreement, you don’t always get that treatment, so thanks 👍. Nothing to be embarrassed about :D

If you guys remember paxamericana he just bought pj2, he was always a solid racer but (hes on a controlller atm) i dont know if he can do our tuesday nights, but if he can you guys fine? hes on a controller so mexi might need to help a brother out,

We are full but he can go on the reserve list, have him stop in the thread and drop us a post.

Not sure when the patch for North America will drop but in the forums on the pcars website site under 3.0 patch for PS4 they are saying that you need to delete all previous saved chassis set ups before preforming download or patch will not work properly.

Just a heads up.....they are saying over at the PCars forum that the update for NA is most likely to come out on Tuesday. Hopefully it doesn't release anywhere around race time as we could get pushed back or miss out pending how long I takes with traffic and what not

Yeah we will have to keep a close eye on this situation. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best :D

Is there a specific season the GTE series on? Has a big affect on track temp

Usually spring-fall. But next year will be year round May 2018 - June 2019.

If you mean OUR GTE Series, I believe it is all default. So current date.

@oldguy58 had posted earlier about needing to delete all previous tunes you have created in the game :banghead:, and what you will see from Mr Bell himself here is that’s 100% correct :banghead:.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
HOW TO DELETE SET-UP FILES
You don't need to delete the entire game as you will lose all progress made in career mode etc...
1) select settings icon in PS4 menu
2)scroll down and select Application Saved Data Management
3) select Saved Data In System Storage
4) select Delete
5)select pcars2 icon
6) scroll through list and select all files labeled Tuning Setup
7) you will also see 2 files labeled Profile, select one of those, oldest one if the dates don't match. This is a glitch that just uses up space.
8) select Delete
9) select Ok and you're done

As ps+ users we all have cloud storage available. I would suggest that you back up remaining data.
1) in Application Saved Data Management select Upload To Online Storage
2) select pcars2 icon
3) click Select All on right side of screen
4) select Upload
5) prompt will come up asking Do you Want To Overwrite This Saved Data? select box for Apply To All then select Yes and you're done

Note: during delete process I would also recommend selecting any replay files shown as it will free up system space and you don't really want to take up cloud space with it either as we are limited to how much cloud space we have.

Hope this helps!

And seeing as we can lose our driving rank... I will definately be deleting the whole game. I want my 150 points back.

No, saving set ups to USB will confuse the system because the data won't match up. I'm gonna manually write down my most used ones. Pain in the butt.:banghead:

What about using the camera in your phone? That's what I plan on doing.

Delete all tunes ? :crazy::grumpy::banghead:

I have most of mine written down but I know I have tweaked many without updating the sheet. Will keep them just in case later in time I find out the tunes work.

This is the tuning sheet I use.
Your old settings will still work if you have the info stored somewhere outside of the game. The reason the ones saved in the game won't work is because the change they way the code is written for tire models, ffb etc... That's also why you can't save them to USB and reload after update. Old code won't match up with the new. :banghead:

The update is out! 4GB or so but seemed really slow. But better news is creating a championship looks perfect for you guys running things, except poor mexi started his series a week too early. You can set the start time for a later date, example tomorrow at 7pm or 8 et,c but it only goes by the hour. Also I dont know if it makes a room for the people in said series or the host needs to make it. Juggs on discover mode. That better not of been out already. Edit 1.Auto Invites!
