Wow, SRT may have just designed to compete with the insanity of the Chevy Chapperal 2X.

Also:

5 exhaust pipes... it must be a hybrid V10... Viper V10 + electric engine, enough torque to spin the planet backwards.

As for the Tomahawk itself (not the bike, the car), it looks very impressive indeed. Being hybrid and all, it should still have a V10 in my view, because it would another interesting thing to bring from the Tomahawk bike. In a way, it might be the SRT equivalent of the LaFerrari (see what I did there?)...

I can't imagine SRT Making a car called "Tomahawk" and not having a homage to the Motorcycle of the same name, the V10 itself would be a good one.

It looks awesome, even if 2600hp sounds a bit exaggerated. That livery on the race car is amazing! I knew the car with the fender cut outs would be some kind of race car. I was not excpecting three cars though. It seems like the Tomahawk X is SRT's response to the Red Bull cars.

Mag-fu:censored:ing-nificent. This is not just like the Chaparral 2X. No no no, this is by far CRAZIER than the 2X, so much crazier it's hilarious. This isn't a supercar, this is a RedBull X-car killer. And the design, the red/black livery... Even if it drives like a soap trying to go through a moss-covered road, I'll love trying to man-handle this Autobot-looking son of a gun through any tracks.

America, you're two for two on the crazy scale. I want more of it, and I want it now. SRT? Congratulations, you deserve a god-forsaken trophy.

They are not just airbrakes, they are 'smart' active wings.

It is easily possible to get that kind of power from real engines. Mating it with a fairly typical hypercar exterior is quite a nice idea. Manufacturers don't pull off supercar concepts anymore, in fact, more experimental and creative designs rarely come along at all, since a lot of concepts now are only signalling imminent segment expansion or design language shifts. You don't see interesting standalone concepts anymore - this is pleasantly surprising.

I don't see what's so "completely ridiculous" about it. I don't like it, it's just another 4WD hypercar, but if you tarted up a Total Race S7 with some active aero... wouldn't you be left with something similar to this?

If this all turns out to be true when it arrives, we'll have the first true Red Bull X racer killer.

Almost 200mph going into turn 2 at Laguna.

I always thought the X racers would be immortal on a circuit, now I'm not so sure as it has even the most powerful X1 beat by a Veryon's worth of HP.

If any car is gonna break GT6, it's this.

Here's how I think power might be done

Tomahawk S - 1,250HP
Tomahawk GTS-R - 2,000HP
Tomahawk X - 2,590HP

I think you'll be left disappointed.
The X looks crazier because of that power. If the others had close to it they'd have at least something like those aero bits.

You don't see what's ridiculous about a 2600bhp automotive peacock? This is closer to a Devel Sixteen with a GT logo stamped on than any actual working vehicle. That latter detail no doubt plays a part in the general acceptance of this particular Top Trumps card.
