Do you believe that the alternate SSRX will end up in the game?

These tracks will not be in GT6. Based on that Infineon Raceway is no longer sponsored (or owned?) by Infineon.

Also they even had to remove the Infineon logos from the Audi R8 etc. so it would be a surprise if the track appeared in this state, but who knows.

I heard that GT6 will:

No big update this month, just a couple of VGT add-ons.

Early-mid December update: 'Spec II'
- B-Spec added so all 12 people that actually care about this will be happy.
- Basic (no doubt mostly useless) community features added. Will crash GT servers regularly for two weeks.
- Course maker added. Choose from 4 themes, GT5 spec but with a few added track tweaks. No GPS or mobile app support.
- 1 or 2 new tracks absolute max.
- PS3 only. Not even a hint of PS4 news.

GT6 long term:
- Community features tweaked and useless mobile companion app added.
- GPS mobile course maker app abandoned completely. Excuses blaming hardware constraints not allowing them to achieve their 'vision'.
- Maybe the odd paid DLC car pack or track (2 or 3 max)

I do not understand why PD has decided to cut the alternate route of Tokyo X...

You just copy and pasted a whole post without even quoting it...

BTW, the Poster you got that from is not an insider.

If these photos/thumbnails from @Whistle Snap are only leftovers as usual, I'll feel very trolled (not something new from PD though)...

What?!?!?!? HOW are PD Trolling you. If you weren't visiting internet forums looking for posts by people who are hacking the code of the game, you'd never know. How would PD solve this? By spending time increasing their encryption?... but then people would probably moan about their priorities!.... If anyone's trolling you it's Whistlesnap... he could post any old rubbish up, claim it's in the game, and then half the forum would get it's panties in a twist about PD not delivering. This is NOT PD's fault - this is forum members ripping apart the game and posting their findings, something I'm sure PD would rather they did NOT do.

If you want to feel something, feel disappointed. I guess from your sig you love the series, but seriously, people MUST keep their expectations in check. Judge PD by what THEY say, not by what others say on their behalf.

Sorry for the rant, have a nice evening.

I thought it was Smokey Mountain South as it was named 'smtsouth' but I opened the file and it was the Swiss Alps track.

The images for those tracks:

Logos were in numerous folders but I think I got them all:

There's nothing else of interest :(

Seattle looks/is totally different

nvm, just different angle :D

My reaction to all these hidden tracks etc.

On a more serious note, very interesting to find these hidden away from PD I seriously wonder what they are planning with these or if they are just leftovers from previous games. Either way very interesting news.

Could you try to find the track maps for the driving park kart tracks? Just like you did with SSRX alternate and Matterhorn Dirt?

Even if they never release, it would be interesting to see how they look.

The thing I had in mind when promising pictures (visualized data from a file), was already present on the disc. It wouldn't really proof anything but create unnecessary hype.

So if the \game install contents are accessible is it possible to add custom car liveries, enable secret menu, etc?

The way I see it (but I'm not a graphics/3d guy so I might be wrong), GT6 was never designed to deal with custom liveries.
For the secret menu, I've tried a few times to enable it but didn't succeed. At least nothing new showed up when I was testing it so I gave up on that.

Just to clarify, info is from Wax Free Vanilla from NeoGAF. Unless Whistle Snap is the same user. Every update on GT6, he uses his modded PS3 to dig into any and all files that come in. Anyway, some of that stuff looks insanely fun.

Well, test course is useless at this point, having ssrx already

Problem with SSRX is it's length... in order to load a file into the data logger it has to be a valid lap... so whilst you may only want to do a 1000m run, you have to do a full lap before you can save it. Granted this isn't really justification for bringing back the old test course, if PD would just bring back the old speed test, or introduce accurate time and distance scales on the Data Logger.

Yup, quite strange how they added all that stuff, data logger gps and stuff but cut out something so important as the various speed test.

Just quoting Wax again:

Seems Interlagos was planned but pulled, from q-k who can decrypt the GT6 system database:

"I've intentionally left out way more information about the track..

The reference for it was only to be found in patch 1.06 and 1.07. It was removed in 1.08..
There were 2 files for the course, but by far not enough to have a drivable track.

Code:

ModelName Label NameJpn NameEng
c231 interlagos_kart インテルラゴスサーキット カート Autódromo De Interlagos
"

I always thought it was strange that the track was featured so heavily in the games intro but never came with the Senna content update. Hopefully PD manage to add the track soon. Maybe they were hoping to add the kart track in place of Stowe in the Senna special events?

This news and the updated Suzuka photo's all in one day, my interest is really peaking for the next update

Stuff like this is the reason why I have Whistle_Snap in my followed users list :D

It would be so much fun if we could have this version of Route X.

There is still time, the fact that they're working on Intelargos gives me hope that their could be more Senna content in the works. 👍
