Not sure, but I guess they will probably remain with the black interior.

I guess it will be black, but if they remade the cars in premium range, and they will have black interiors or simplified interiors, I wouldnt care much :P

There are no standard cars. So hopefully if someone wants to zoom it will look much better than GT5. Cockpit though is most important IMHO.Codemasters have no cockpit view for grid2 according to them most people do not use it. I use cockpit view so hopefully they added at least of 100cars but I doubt it

I think that the exterior design and look of the cars ; all will be 'premium' good quality.
And for the interior; some cars ll get very simple cockpit reproduction and no more Black cockpit.
Simple cockpit like the Chaparral 2J Race Car '70 or the Audi R8 race car '01 in GT5..

No and no. Standards aren't given premium upgrades that's not what's happening, and not all cars are being upgraded. All Kaz said was that, and I'm paraphrasing, "The worst looking standards will be upgraded". That could be 20 of them or 100 or 200 of them. Or maybe they changed their mind and did all or almost all of them. We'll have to wait and see.

As far as, "There are no standards" technically it's true, but it's a name change only, it doesn't refer to them all being upgraded to premium, it refers to the name or badge of "standard" being removed from the game and upgrades like wheels and aero parts and going to photomode will now be possible with the former "standards".

Exactly. Standards (black interiors, lower quality cars) are still in the game. PD only removed the "standards" title. They are still there.

There is no longer any distinction between standards and premiums anywhere in the game other than the actual visual look of the cars.
Another great way of putting it. We will no longer get the message "This car cant be taken to photo travel because it is a standard" or "You cant take pics this close because its a standard". Something like that. The standard title has been removed, the "standards" per say, are still in GT6.

This info has been discussed a lot in this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/standard-cars-are-in-gt6-100-confirmed.282254/

I hope you can actually see the car hood this time. Because in GT5 it was just a black mask in the shape of the cockpit. The actual car body vanished in that view.
I think GTPSP's cockpit view was like that. You can see the hood on most cars when in that view.

I do remember Kaz saying that the black interiors wouldn't return when asked in an early interview but the current information talks about a simplified cockpit. I'm curious to see if anything has changed. The best scenario I can think of would be being able to see the actual body parts of the car like GTP and maybe a simple 2D wheel. Well, probably not likely.

I remember Kaz saying a million things that never happened in the end

Um I posted a confirmed link just above your posts.

Jordan interviewing Kaz

Will there be “Standard Cars” in GT6?
We won’t be making all the Standard cars from GT5 into Premium models, and we won’t make all of the GT5′s Standard cars fully “Premiumized”.
Up until now, we used to categorize them as Standard and Premium because there were functional differences between them: some of the Standard models might not have tuning parts, or couldn’t be used in Photo Mode. That will all be cleared so every model can be used in Photo Mode, and every car can have parts fitted for it.
In terms of graphics quality, the bad quality Standard models we’ve updated so they look better.

Will all of the cars have interior views?
No.

I dont care about black interior, as long as you can see the hood/rear deck/spoiler from the interior view
Not sure if you read the previous posts but some cars wont have interior views at all. So you wont be able to see the hood/ rear deck/ spoiler on some vehicles.

I know what Kaz told Jordan in that interview, but the Gran Turismo site says...

" Car Dealerships
All available cars are displayed under their respective manufacturers. There are no longer distinctions made between Premium and Standard cars as in the previous version of GT, but Standard equivalent cars will only have simplified cockpit views."
