Starting sim mode

Excuse me, but I got Gran Turismo 2 the other day and I know it might seem like I'm bringing up an old topic but what which cars would be best for starting out simulation mode with? And on a slightly similar note, I'm not like mistamontiel. I'm more patient than I seem. If anyone can help me figure this out I would GREATLY appreciate it.
