Congrats to RR! Back to his winning ways in STC racing action! Here's the updated PP tracker and its also on page one of this thread:

Since we only had 6 participants I decided to not award any performance point bonuses. Performance Point deductions remain though. The challenge gets tougher as we race at Laguna Seca next Thursday in American Muscle! Updated event info will be posted on page one of this thread soon!

I should make it for next week, what cars are we running? any american made car?

Any USA muscle car, front engine/rear drive, 600pp, non race car, race mediums.

brettcee is correct! If it has a roll cage it's not allowed. Get creative Scorp! Lots of american cars at that PP to chose from and you will have a PP advantage against JT, NCR and RR.
 
DJ, I think you should go ahead and take the pp bonus. Why not?

I couldn't believe those 1: 48's. Damn, that's quick. Nice drive Brett. I kept waiting for a crash, that never came. What's up with that?

I guess I should be happy that I was able to enter course.

I'm sure you'll see a return of crashing at Laguna.
 
Hit .25s today in practice at 600 pp. Not bad! Lol. Im averaging around 27 though. Not great!
 
I tried out 4 different cars last night but didn't like any of them. Time to tweak. Running 25's @590pp.Tried to run the Camaro with a Race Exhaust. PD needs some SERIOUS help with that exhaust sound, ughh. V6 Blazer with no muffler sample? Weird as the Camaro RM sounds awesome.

On another topic-from one of the E3 drivers:

After driving GT6 and coming back to race some GT5 races I really miss GT6. There’s such a big difference in the way the car feels and acts. As far as the sounds yea they weren’t any better but it sounds like they are just filler till the real sounds show up later.”

Yeah. I was trying w/o ABS. Was losing time braking into turn 1 and the corkscrew. Enough of the purist nonsense, best to stay on course for this one.

I tried the ZR1 & Z06, they seem to have week brakes, that, plus I kept spinning them:dopey:. Really wanted to use a Challenger SRT8 but can't find fast laps. tried the Viper SRT10 ACR - really fast car but I can't get fast lap times in it either.
With the Camero SS I'm hitting mid 24's. I'll be on tonight trying with the Challenger again, but it look like it's the Camero for me.

How are you guys watching Le Mans? I'm sure BK has all the links.

Looks like Camaro's are going to rule the day! I'm going Camaro as well. I wonder if there is anybody brave enough (or foolish enough) to try something different. I wanted to race the Cobra R but I just CANNOT keep that bad boy on the track.

I'll be DVR'ing Lemans as well. I plan to set a real good ass grove in my sofa this weekend. Gotta remember to buy more whiskey.
