I just heard 10 minutes ago that Apple's co-founder has passed away from pancreatic cancer.
I am very sad to actually read it on sites like LA Times, CNN, etc.
Really sad that he never got to see the new Apple HQ get finished. RIP Steve, your legacy will live on as one of the defining figures in technology and leadership.
Even if that photo is shopped, the man you see doesn't even look closely to the man he was when he was healthy. His cancer must have completely destroyed him. Atleast his suffering is over now.
Wasn't it just a year or so ago I watched him on stage excitedly debuting the iPad or something? Wow, this is crazy. I'm not a fan of all his products, but I do know that some things the company has done have been spectacular. I hope that legacy lives on, otherwise I won't have anything to be in denial about!
The man made some amazing inventions. He will be missed and I feel like the world lost some good today. Say what you will about Apple and their products, Steve Jobs was still brilliant and dying of cancer at his age is horrible. I've watched people die of cancer and it isn't something I would wish on anyone.
