Yeah, I was just shopping on Amazon with I heard the news on G4 playing in the background.

I'll miss that charismatic genius.

Got quite a surprise hearing this, way too soon, he have massively changed directly and indirectly the way we interact with technology today. He gave us some incredible products that changed our perception of technology.

R.I.P. The world has lost a great technology genius and will always be remembered for creating devices that change the way we interact and live in the world, as well as founding the company that made so many of my childhood movies :(.

I want a black and denim Steve Jobs edition iPhone.

revolutionary character, person and stuff that came out of him. Technology will never be the same, and it will for sure miss him.

Man oh man. This hit me hard – anybody who knows me knows how much Apple, and by extension Jobs, means to me. Apple and cars are pretty much the two passions that I’ve had the longest. Steve really wrote the book on how to combine design, innovation, and business. He’ll be missed dearly.

It was bound to happen after these were taken:

RIP Steve :(

Those have got to be fake. He didn't even look nearly like that when he released the iPhone 4 which was only about a year ago. He would've already been showing signs of THAT coming then. RIP Jobs. Apple will never be the same

Wow.. This is very unexpected :(

Rest In Peace Steve Jobs. You will be honored for your immeasurable innovations to technology and the computer industry, whereas to massively improving communication over electronic devices, to introducing an entire computer kernel set (Apple II, Macintosh, etc).

After all about the launch of the brand new iPhone 4S, suing from Samsung and now this. Very unexpected honestly. Apple has definitely lost a great man behind the company. Eventhough in my life I've only owned 1 Apple product and it's an iPad 2 but his loss can be felt clearly. Rest In Peace Steve.

:(

I know how his family is feeling, my grandmother passed away one year ago from cancer so I can sympathise with his family. Best wishes.

You don't have to be a Mac or iOS user to appreciate how much Steve Jobs and Apple have shaped personal technology. He passed too soon. I'm sure his work was far from done.

Just now got the news. So surprised how much it really impacted on me hearing the news, and I never really was a big fan of Apple Products, but how they shaped our life is unimaginable. Just think, almost everything released now will have Apple influence in it. Believe it or not but he was a great idol for many people, me included. I think I will continue to keep buying Apple products, and only Apple Products so long as the company stays around, just to honor this great person.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs.

Edit: posted from my iPhone

This is very shocking new as he was only in his 50's. His ideas were ahead of their times and he knew how to market them.
RIP Steve.

Rip Steve Jobs,
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They are not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you cannot do is ignore them. Because they change things. Think Different.

I was lucky enough to attend the iPhone showing yesterday, and although Tim Cook did a fine job, NO ONE will EVER be able to unveil an iProduct like Steve Jobs.

RIP

I just took off my iPod shuffle and went to my iMac to cheek email than got up to go to my iPhone and read this. It will be very interesting to see what happens with the future of apple now. Last time Steve wasn't working there the company almost went under and pretty much single handedly brought it back to life and make it one of the most profitable companies out there.

He was one of the greatest technological visionaries the industry has ever seen. His legacy will live on in the amazing products he designed, and in the major changes he brought to the way the music, movie, and book industries operate. Thank you Steve, you will be severly missed.

“I want to put a ding in the universe.” -Steve Jobs

I think you've accomplished more than just a ding...

RIP Steve Jobs.
Typed on an iPhone 4.

"If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on."

Thank you Steve. You will be missed.:(

RIP Steve Jobs.... your pioneering spirit in the tech world will be missed. :( --- Randy
