GTP_RACECAR, you know the drill :). Also, would it be ok to use my pre-order car?

Is join if you had weekend races. You'd find a Sunday night start time to be the best. Most people are home Sunday around 8-9

Im close to getting mysef a NASCAR now lol. Hopefully we get more UK intrest. I dont want to look bad maybe DCing half way through becasue of the time.

EDIT: Should we define pad users from wheels? I'd say the wheels can hold the lines better espically for Indy. I myself would be DS3.

I might be interested. I didn't think I would like NASCAR (just going around in circles, right?) but I thought it was really fun in the Special Events. I might want to get some practice in a more informal setting though. Also, the Tuesday time doesn't work for me, so I will just wait until later.

I'm interested to see where this goes though.

Is it too early for this? I thought interest would be higher.

It might be for some as folks might be heavy into increasing their offline level and getting through events and licensing. That's what I'm doing at this point and do not yet own a Cup car.

Maybe some less formal sessions would work as a way for drivers to warm up to organized online events. Last night was my first online session and was simply a free cruise session someone from the chat room created. I'm still getting comfortable with the environment (how to find rooms, etc...).

I like the idea of organized online events though. It's why I participated in the GTP qualifier for GT5P back in '08 I think it was.

Edit: If it's alright with you, I'm going to send you a PSN friend invite. My PSN is "CraigKast". I have a GTP-PSN account but haven't used it in a long time.

We might be going in circles, but isn't that the point of most tracks? Going in a constant loop to the end? lmao...

I believe Tuesday is going to be the sanctioned time for all events in this League. However, it will be changeable according to the competitors. If I find that most cannot do Tuesdays, we will find a new day.

As long as your ping isn't bad, you should be fine. Using the pad, is not a problem. I would get some practice in though, so you can run smooth lines. :) See you then..

Can you expand on this please, "Car: GT5 Stock Tune Only - Nascar (any)". Thanks.

It means you can drive any Nascar in the game, but it has to be the stock tune. Like the loner cars for online.

So we're driving them as-is without any adjustments to ride height, etc... . Ok, thanks.

Edit: Yes, I'll be there.

Right, reason being, because not everyone owns a stock car. And, this is a TIRE TEST, pretty much tells me what kind of tires we need to use for the series. Plus other adjustments..ect

Thanks

I understand that the Racing Intermediate Tires are like rain tires, but when I did some testing they seemed to handle WAY more realistic than the other tires did. Tire wear was on par too..

Thanks

As long as I can get around the track and enjoy the other racers without a repeat of that Indianapolis race (two years ago?), I'll be fine lol.

I forget now. But, I think I turned the race off because they kept wrecking because of a tire issue - the tires were only lasting 15-20 laps or some ridiculously low number. Cars were sliding everywhere.

I can gift a stock car to anyone who needs it

GTP_Earth

add me include car # in friend requuest

i can only gift 1 a day

PSN: Stormtrooper2178. I am ready for this. Hopefully, my car doesn't spin out randomnly like it almost always does... Watch it happen, hehe.

How many do you have, lmao...

Welcome back!

Thanks man 👍

I've sent you the #24. Now you can tune the gearing etc during the test

I only have the #99 and #43, but I am far enough into the game where I can earn 500,000 credits in 15 mins

Lmao, wow. Thanks for the car. But I won't be changing the settings, since the tunning is locked, to make it fair to others.

GTP_Harley45
