This one's probably academic interest only, but I couldn't see the race on the list so thought I'd add it (slap me if I missed it....)

Renault Events, Megane Cup

Car: Renault Megane 2.0 IDE Coupe '00
FF / 144bhp (oil change, I think) / 1135 kg / 7.88 kg/hp / a whole 34 A-Spec points

Meh - wish I hadn't changed the oil, or bought secondhand for that matter. The series would be much more interesting in the newer Megane 2.0 16v '03 just because it's slower. And that's what the rest of the field was for the championship. For what it's worth, the race series:

Suzuka Circuit East - clean win
Opera Paris - win but not clean, don't count this one
Laguna Seca - clean win
Seoul Central - clean win
Cote d'Azur - 4th, just don't ask. Sometimes I love this track, sometimes I hate it. This time - bleh, not good.

So, not great points then, but a race not currently listed so I thought I'd post it. I don't plan on going back over it apart from getting the Cote d'Azur % points, so knock yourselves out :D

The Megane 2.0 16v '03 in stock condition with no oilchange gives 60p per race.
Think I've done all races with this before, I'll check it out.

I think most of the brand-races give 60p or less for a stock entry, and most have a very limited range of eligible cars. This is why few of them have been posted.

A stock win in the speedster series, now that would be something!

Tested a new car today: Professional hall - Turbo sports - High Speed Ring.

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 (used,no oil) / FR / 367hp / 1628kg / 4.4kg/hp / 200 A-spec points

Total Time: 2:12'25.190

Lineup: Lotus Esprit Sport 350 '00, Proto Motors Spirra 4.6 V8 '04, Callaway C12 '03, Dodge Viper SRT 10 '03, Shelby Series 1 Supercharged '03

Finished about 50 secs ahead of the Lotus. The gap should've been bigger but I made lots of mistakes pushing to hard but the Mustang is such a fun car I had to.

European Hall: Schwartzwald Liga A - All races
I used the stock BMW 2002 '73 to get 200 pts in all the races here. The trick is to find the right line-up for a clean 200 pts race, I got a lot of line ups where I could win (faster cars in the back, lots of blocking) but the wins against much faster cars where never "clean". So find a good line up and you can get clean 200 pts races in one of the most beautiful classic cars (IMO) in GT4.
This cars handling is so great, I think it suits my driving style perfectly :) and that's why I was able to win all the Liga A races.

I'm driving this car a lot, mostly taking it out for a family cup at the Ring, puts a big :) on my face 👍

Just got done with this, and I've completed a full review of the series which you'll find here if you're interested!

Japanese races: Japan Championship - All Races
Car: Honda S2000 Type V '00 (6.2 mile used, oil changed) / FR / 256HP / 1260kg / 4.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

Toronado
Race of the Red "R" Emblem : Suzuka Circuit
Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C '84 (6.2 Mile Special)/ FR/ R2-R2/ 212BHP/ PWR: 5.896/ 200 A-Spec points!
Race of the Red "R" Emblem : Trial Mountain Reverse
Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C '84 (6.2 Mile Special)/ FR/ R2-R2/ 212BHP/ PWR: 5.896/ 200 A-Spec points!

Sorry Toronado but, no R tyres are allowed on road cars, except at Laguna Seca 200 miles, so these won't count.

Also SjefGielen please could you edit your entries to be in the same format that Toronado has posted in above. This goes for everyone posting here! Also if you can let us know if your ride has had oil or not, that's useful too. ;)Trying to pull the data spread out over long posts is too complex, if you keep it concise and on a single line, it's really helpful to us. I'm a little unclear as to whether you made on of the races in the BMW clean for 200 points, so I'll hold off adding you to the list until you've made the edits and confirmed a clean race. Sorry to be a pain for you :guilty: and we'd love to welcome you to Club 200 soon! 👍

I honestly can not figure out why I put R2-R2 instead of S2-S2. Both races were run on S2's, but for some reason (A.K.A., I forgot to proofread it), I put S2-S2. :dunce: <---Me. I checked it under a similar line-up. With R2's, A-Spec points drop down to 130ish.

For the tuning car championship am I allowed to use R3 tires on my Opera Performance S2000 '04?

It comes stock with S tires but the AI uses R3 tires.

Nope. Your only allowed to use stock tires or worse. You can try a car that comes stock with R3's that has low BHP though.

I got 200 A-spec with the Dodge Ram at High Speed Ring (Beginners Cup). :)

(same as hispeed)
Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi '04 / 4WD / 341HP / 2390kg/ 7.0kg/HP / 200 A-spec.

luftrofl
Alright good to know, thanks.

Yup, the only exception to putting R tyres on any car that comes stock with S tyres is the Laguna Seca 200 Miles.
Tuning Car cup gave me headaches for weeks!
Eventually did it in the Gran Turismo Skyline on S3s for a little over 100 points per race. Finding something with low enough HP, but sticky enough tyres to keep up with 500HP tuners on R3s and still get 200 points is nigh on impossible! A few folks have won selected races for 200 points, but no-one has found a car that'll do all 5 at once for a 1000 point clean sweep in stock form. :(

@ Toronado, thanks for clearing that up, that's what I'd expected, I'll add them to the list, I had to be cautious with it though, since you've posted things with the wrong tyres listed before, so I'm sure you can see my dilemma. :guilty: Sorry.

El Capitan Endurance using the TVR T350C against TVR speed six, TVR T350C, Lotus Motor Sport Elise, Shelby Series 1, and another one I can't remember. Stock T350C with no oil change and S2 tires. 200 Aspec pts. Great race!

OK, sorry, here it is:
Car: BMW 2002, (no oil changed) / FR / 168HP / 1080kg / 200 A-spec points!

And yes, the races were clean, some of them realy hard, practice, practice, practice, but they were clean!

and another one!

Race: El Capitan Endurance
Car: Jaguar XKR R-Performance '02/FR/ S2 tires/ 390ps (no oil change)/1735kg/ 200 Aspec points!

Opposition:
Lotus Motorsport Elise
Shelby Series 1
TVR Cerbera Speed Six
TVR T350C
Mercedes SL65 AMG (R230)

CLUB 200 welcomes 3 new members this week, blue_sharky39, SjefGielen and speedy_samurai!
Nice going folks! Keep the submissions coming! :)

I'll get round to updating the list with all the new entries sometime this coming week and pass it on to hispeed for approval. 👍
It'll probably be the last update I do this year, since I'm flying back to England for Christmas on the 21st Dec until 1st Jan, and I'll be out of touch until I get back. :)

*edit* a couple of things.....
@ speedy_samurai in future, could you post your car stats with the power listed in HP rather than PS please, I've done the conversion (divide PS by 0.986) for the list this time, but I'd prefer to get the values correct from you in your post. Thanks. 👍

@ SjefGielen there's a huge discrepancy in your stats for the BMW over the stock values that are listed in the dealership, and were posted for the Opera Paris race by Toronado. Please can you double check that you haven't changed oil or added ballast to the car before I add your entries to the list. The figures you give are about 10HP and 95kg higher than stock values for that car. 👎 Thanks too. 👍

*edit*
European Hall: Schwartzwald Liga A race 2 - Opera Paris
Car: Opel Vectra 3.2 V6 '03 / FF / 208HP / 1510kg / 7.3kg/HP / 186 A-spec points

I'm sorry, I posted the wrong values in this thread, those are the values for my white ralley 2002, I changed them in the values of my black stock 200 pts 2002.

Great to be a member of the club now. I'll update my sig soon, are there any restrictions for that?

Thanks for doing the update. You're in the list now, I'll be e-mailing it to hispeed tonight. He's the one to ask about signature links, since it's his thread, though I don't believe he'll turn down an offer of free advertising! ;)

I have done Laguna Seca 200 miles in stock M3 GTR (380hp, 1350kg) but I used R2 tires (see here) . Does it count ? I think that race cars should not be used in this race.

I read your race report, sounds very exciting, but sadly we're restricted to R1 (RSH) tyres only, on road cars for Laguna Seca Enduro. I had a similar situation, the car I was planning on using for this race can only win with R2s on the front, keeping R1s on the rear, but it also falls outside the rules, so I've not submitted it.
This is a relatively recent change too, and took a lot of debating about the AI using these tyres unlike most other races where road cars are restricted to S or N tyres. Until then we'd maintained the "stock or harder tyres" rule, and hence found no entries for this race. :scared:
If you could repeat the race and win on R1s, we'd love to welcome you in here, otherwise, keep chasing those high-point stock races and make an entry here when you've a legitimate 200pt stock race, and you'll be added to the Club 200 list.
Sorry. :guilty:
Hope to see you back here soon. 👍

My gaze fell upon this race today:
European Hall: European Classic Car League race 1 - Nurburgring

No entries yet in the list.
This race is for european cars up to 1970 models with a wide range of opponents, just look out for the A/C Cobra (not beatable) and the Fiat 500s (1 A-spec point for win).
First I tried the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale ('63) for 9p
Then i finally found this decent lineup
Ginetta, Alfa GTA '65, Alfa 1600 '66, Mercedes 300 '54, Alfa Giulia '63

Car: Lotus Elan S1 '62 / FR / 110 HP / 639 kg / 5.8 kg/HP / 10 A-spec

Should be easy to beat, or what?

luftrofl
The AI uses racing hard(r2) tires for the Laguna Seca 200 miles endurance event.

At least that's how it looks in the preview.

Damn, luftrofl is right!
That puts a fly in the ointment!
I had got a car in mind that I think I could take a surprising win with on R2 fronts, R1 rears, when I asked hispeed to think about making an exception for this race.
I guess the general feeling here is that the further up the R tyres spectrum you go, the further the car is from it's "stock" form in GT4, and we're trying to keep things as stock as possible here. There was some considerable opposition to even allowing R1 tyres for this race in the first place, since R tyres don't come stock on any road car in the game, but it meant there'd never be a 200pt submission for this race!
The tyre debate has been had many many times throughout the pages of this thread, and I know hispeed is getting tired of it!
The rules in post #1 are what stands. Case closed..... unless hispeed wants to add anymore. ;)

Post #1 is now up to date, and all the new submissions and members are on the respective lists.
Keep those races coming!

That's right, I just ran couple of previews and the AI runs R2s !!! I like the idea of underpowered road car with same tires as AI uses better than having a race car (with downforce) against road cars.

Me too, I've just got to learn to lap consistently enough on R1s to make my ride close enough to the AI to take advantage of the fact that I'll be able to do at least 1 less, maybe 2 less pitstops than them!

I've been working on the New York enduro and the most points I have gotten is 198. If I race the Zonda it's for 200 but it is an unwinnable race.

I managed to get 135 points in the Sunday cup - High Speed Ring challenge in the Volvo Estate, but it wasn't completey stock. :guilty:

Sorry TVRKing, but we're only collecting entries in post #1 for vehicles that fit within the rules there.

A quick recap for everyone's benefit......

No modifications from how the vehicle is delivered to you, other than an optional oil change, if required. :) You may change settings for standard parts e.g. if a car has adjustable downforce in it's stock form, you can make changes to the F/R downforce settings. You cannot, however, add a wing to a car that comes without one.
No N tyres, no ballast weight and no NOS :yuck: are allowed.
Tyres should be kept to S1-S3 for road cars, with the exception of Laguna Seca 200 Miles where you're allowed to use R1s
Tyres for race cars are R1-R3 and wherever possible try to race with what came on the car, this applies to road cars too.
If you changed the tyres at all for your race, please indicate it in your post. 👍
