Aussie rules! 👍

Yet another entry for El Capitan 200 miles, but one that hasn't been done before, and a bit of representation for the oft overlooked Aussie vehicles! :)

Endurance races: El Capitan 200 miles
Car:
holden.gif
Holden Commodore SS '04 (S2 Tyres) / FR / 328HP / 1658kg / 5.1kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

And another from a little while ago...

Endurance races: El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Mazda RX-7 Type R Bathurst R (FD) '01 (Used, oil changed, S2 tyres) / FR / 290HP / 1260kg / 4.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

Both reports can be found on page 5 of this thread.

Real Circuit Tours: Nurburgring
Car: Chaparral 2D Race Car '67 (R3 Tyres, softened suspension) / MR / 441HP(oil changed) / 771kg / 1.723kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Endurance races: Laguna Seca 200 miles
Car: BMW M3 CSL '03(R1 tires, oil changed)/ 354BHP / 1385kg / 3.91kg/HP / 200 A-spec

I had already used this car twice at El Capitan and once in New York, so the BHP-value may not match the original value.

Against:
Pontiac GTO
Camaro SS
Shelby Superseries
Saleen S7
Ford GT

Won by ~35 seconds.

Edit: 2 more endurance-entries, earned me about 1.5 million credits..:dopey:

Endurance Races: El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Honda Dualnote '01 (Acura DNX in NTSC) (S1 tires) / 4WD/ 410BHP / 1400kg / 3.41kg/BHP / 200 A-spec

Endurance Races: Laguna Seca 200 miles
Car: Honda Dualnote '01 (Acura DNX in NTSC) ( R1 tires)/ 4WD/ 410BHP / 1400kg / 3.41kg/BHP / 200 A-spec

This entry will probably get me banned from this club, but here it is anyway:

Special Conditions Hall: Umbria and Capri Rallies (easy)
Car: '04 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi / 4WD / 341HP / 2390kg / 7.0 kg/hp / 200 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Umbria and Capri Rallies Reverse (easy)
Car: '04 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi / 4WD / 341HP / 2390kg / 7.0 kg/hp / 200 A-spec pts.

;)

European Hall : European Classic Car League : All Races
Car: Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65 / FR / 113HP / 745kg / 6.6kg/HP / 53 A-spec points.

versus lineup which took a lot of entering & exiting to find, starting at Nurb, with Lotus Elan S1 '62 on pole, followed by Ginetta G4 '64, Mini Marcos GT '70, Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto 1600 '66 and Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65.
Had to qualify at Suzuka to stand a chance of beating the Elan, stupid 1 lap race, :grumpy: but everywhere else was easy enough. 👍

Professional events, GT World Championship Race 1 (Tokyo R246)

Heehaw, just got my first 200-pointer with a stock car :D

Car: Chaparral 2J Race Car '70 / MR / 684 hp / 821 kg / 1.2 kg/hp / 200 A-spec points
Best lap: 1:24:598
Settings:
Driving aids 1/1/2 - to be able to brake into a corner, tcs can probably be turned off altogether in this car
Rear camber 3 degrees
Third gear 0.682 - Car was hitting the rev limiter on the home straight when drafting the Sauber

Funny car this. About as fast as the LM cars in corners, but the speed difference on corner exits and the straights is almost embaressing. Stay clear of the higher curbs in the 90 degree bends though.

Lineup:
Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car '89
Gillet Veritigo Race Car '04
Toyota GT-ONE Race Car (TS020)
Nissan R92CP Race Car '92
Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98

Took me a couple of tries to get this one, but not too hard once I managed not to crash for 10 laps. First stint was very clean. I did not qualify, so started last on the grid. Passed all cars but on in the first lap and got the last one on the home straight (did I mention the straightline speed of the Chap?). I managed to buid a 7 second lead over the second car before pitting in on lap 6. Than re-entered just ahead of the backmarkers. Almost threw it away in the last lap, but I had enough of a lead to finish first.

Thanks MacTarmac, but please read post #1 carefully, and make your submission in the following format:-

RACE
Car: / Drivetrain / Power (HP) / Weight (kg) / WPR (kg/HP) / A-spec points.

This way it's easier for me to cut and paste entries to the list.

Please edit your post above to include this info, and I'll happily add you at the next update. 👍 Please use HP and weight values from the selling screen in the garage.

Since the details for the 2J are already in several submissions, I'll add you anyway since I can steal them from there, but if you're making future submissions, then please do it in the format I've requested above!
Welcome to CLUB 200! 👍

Here's another example by me, of how it's done!

Extreme Hall: Like The Wind Race - Test Course
Car: Cadillac Cien '02 (Minimum Downforce) / MR / ?HP (760HP on garage screen) / 1450kg / ?kg/HP (1.9kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec points!

vs. Nissan R390 GT1, BMW V12 LMR, BMW McLaren F1 GTR, PlayStation Pescarolo C60/Judd, Pescarolo Courage C60/Peugeot.

Cadillac had fully customisable transmission and adjustable downforce in stock form! Downforce was minimised for less drag, and an autoset of 18 on the transmission allows for cruising at ~233mph on straights, and upto 250mph while drafting. Took off slowly from the line since I was on stock SM tyres versus everyone elses RM tyres, but once up to speed, the McLaren is reeled in first, giving a speed boost from the draft which allows me to catch the green Pescarolo, and again the slingshot puts me on the tail of the white Pescarolo. The BMW & Nissan who were once 7s in front have had their lead cut to under 5s by the end of lap 1, and after passing the 2nd Pescarolo, it's just a matter of time before I've crept up on them, passing them both in the second turn on lap 3. After that it's an easy cruise to the finish line, and 200 points!

Firstly, thanks MacTarmac for updating your post. 👍

Secondly, apologies for the lack of activity from me in the past few weeks, I'm busy preparing a LAN meeting, and it's sucked up a lot of time!

Thirdly, I took a break from the preparations, and inspired by Vash666's efforts, went back to claim my own stock 200 point scalp at the Infineon World Sport Car race in the endurance hall!

Endurance Hall : Infineon World Sport Car Race
Car: Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car '02 (Oil changed, R2/R3 tyres) / FR / 533HP on garage screen / 1120kg / 2.1kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

See my endurance companion for details, and lineup info, click the light blue link in my signature, if you're interested! :)

Special Conditions : Capri Rally (reverse) : Hard difficulty
Car: Nissan GT-R Concept (TokyoShow) '01 (S2 Tyres) / 4WD(?) / ?HP (455HP on garage screen) / 1560kg / ?kg/HP (3.4kg/HP using garage value) / vs. Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car '85 / 123 A-spec points

Special Conditions : Umbria Rally : Normal difficulty
Car: Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01 / MR / 173HP / 640kg / 3.7kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M.E. / 116 A-spec points

Professional Hall : Race of Turbo Sports : New York Reverse

Car:- Hyundai Clix '01 / 4WD / 305HP / 1320kg / 4.31kg/HP / 200 A-Spec points!

vs lineup #18:
Buick GNX '87
Dodge SRT4 '03

A quite spectacular race, all 6 cars finishing within 2 seconds, the top 3 within 0.100 second of eachother!

Beginners Hall:FF Challenge- Midfield Raceway Reverse
Car:- Toyota Yaris(Vitz) RS Turbo '02 / FF / 138HP / 980kg / 7.1kg/HP / 147 points

Car: Nissan Primera 2.0Te '90(used, no oil) / FF / 135HP / 1210kg / 8.96kg/HP / 176 A-spec

vs lineup #2.

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally (reverse) : Easy difficulty
Car: Hommell Berlinette R/S coupe '99 / MR / 165HP / 950kg / 5.76kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III GSR '95 200 A-spec points

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally (reverse) : Normal difficulty
Car: Toyota MR2 GT-S '97 (used, no oil)/ MR / 221HP / 1270kg / 5.75kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV Rally Car '97 200 A-spec

This was a bitch, but very rewarding when I finally got it:
Professional Hall: Supercar Festival Race 5 - Infineon
Car: Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99 (used, no oil)/ FR / 505HP / 1970kg / 3.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec

vs lineup #7:
Spyker C8 Laviolette
Audi Nuvolari quattro
VW W12 Nardo Concept
Cizeta V16T
Tommy Kaira ZZII

The Tommy Kaira takes off like a rocket, but from lap 3 and out will run off the track in every corner. The main competition was the Volkswagen, so take care not to help him past the Audi..

European Hall: Schwartzwald Liga A race 1 - Trial Mountain
Car: VW Bora V6 4Motion '01 / 4WD / 201HP/ 1540kg / 7.66kg/HP 200 A-spec

vs lineup #1

Endurance Race: Laguna Seca 200miles

First 200 A-Spec points stock car go:

Car used: Opera Performance S2000 '04 (RSH Tyres) / FR / ?HP (274HP on garage screen) / 930kg / ?kg/HP (3.4kg/HP using garage value) /200 A-Spec points by MYNAMEISSPORT

Brand new from winning the Polyphony Digital Cup

(No oil change used, adjusted the stock sports suspension and downforce and equipped with Racing Super Hards)

Vs PAL Line 1 after console reset:

Pontiac GTO 5.7 Coupe ’04
Chevrolet Camaro SS ’00
Saleen S7 ’02
Ford GT ’05
Shelby Series 1 Super Charged ’03

Results of the race as follows:

Opera Performance S2000 ’04 – 2'18:19:660
Saleen S7: 1 Lap Down
Shelby 1 Super Series: 1 Lap Down
Ford GT: 2 Laps Down
Chevloret Camaro: 3 Laps Down
Pontiac GTO: 5 Laps Down

Three pit stops on laps 24, 48 and 72. Managed with 18 laps on last stop till finish. Took it a little conversative and could have won by a bigger margin.

Some tips to win:

  • Make use of adjusting the sports suspension and downforce settings with the car, it will help you out big time.
  • Do not push hard even if the Saleen and Ford GT are ahead, good consistent laps times will let you catch you up with them in the slow corners.
  • Make time through the corners, its about slow in and fast out.
  • Do not push the tyres, you can survive three pit stops and the last stint on 18 laps is fine if you are ahead
  • Only fuel what you need and do not overfuel or take too long in pit stops
  • Careful when overtaking the cars and try to do it on twisty sections of the course or outbrake them into turn 1 if close enough

My first entry in a while, and it's a good one! :)

Special Conditions Hall: Umbria Rally (normal)
Car: Ford RS200 '84 (oil changed) / 4WD / 263 HP / 1180kg / 4.49 kg/hp / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M.E. for 123 A-spec pts.

Sorry to have neglected this thread recently. Been v.v.v. busy with guests / LAN meets / family business. An update will follow shortly.....(well, in about a week! ;))

Car: Subaru Impreza Wagon STi Ver. VI '99 (10k special, no oil) / 4WD / 283HP / 1310kg / 4.63kg/HP / 200 A-spec

vs. lineup #2

Hello, Tired Tyres here. This is my very first post

Endurance races: Roadster 4hr
Car: Mazda MX-5 '89 (Used, no oil, S1 tires) / FR / 108HP / 940kg / 8.8kg/HP / 107 A-spec by Tired Tyres

Against 2nd field after a reset. All AI cars do mid to low 1:13’s. A good race if you can get a slow enough MX-5.

Endurance races: El Capitan
Opera Performance S2000 '04 / FR Changed tyres to S2/ 274HP / 930kg / 3.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec by Tired Tyres

Note. NOT the above race but a quick test run against the first field on S3 tyres show an easy win against the Lotus Motor Sport Elise and an easy 10 to 11 laps on the tyres! That's one heck of a car

Car: Honda NSX Type-R '92 (oil changed) (S2) / MR / 283HP / 1230kg / 4.34kg/HP / 200 A-spec by Tired Tyres

This race was completely Stock :)

Professional Hall: GT World Championship Races 1-10
Car used: Toyota GT-ONE Race Car '99 (used black edition, R1 Tyres with oil change) / MR / 774HP(According to Garage screen) / 900kg / ?/HP / 200 A-spec by MYNAMEISSPORT

vs PAL LINEUP 6 AFTER CONSOLE RESET

Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89
Nissan R89C Race Car '89
Sauber Mercedes C 9 Race Car '89
Jaguar XJR-9 Race Car '88
Mazda 787B Race Car '91

Used TEAM666 setup for this car with 55/77 downforce on most tracks and raised some wing on Opera Paris/Hong Kong to keep 200 A-Spec points. Only qualified first on Hong Kong and Opera Paris. People who struggle to win can qualify for all of the races in 1st place, but it is more of a challenge to start on the back of the grid in most races.
This car can win with practice and good car setup.

The car does not need to pit for 8 out of 10 races, the only races where you need to pit are Opera Paris and Hong Kong where I changed tyres and did not refuel. Did the clean sheet of 10/10 win races with this car. It is a good challenge with LMP VS Group C lineup and should be given a go. I oil changed every 2 races to keep up the original bhp.

It is still possible to win with the Black Toyota GT-One without an oil change and a possible tyre change to R2/R1 and a bit more downforce if you like a bit more of a challenge.

Wow, I really owe this thread a little attention again. Haven't had chance to update yet. Life got hectic all of a sudden! Will make some time later this week to get something done about it though.

Ok then, with another 200 point submission of my own to add, I'll post it here and then get on with an update! :D

Endurance races: New York 200 miles
Car: Acura HSC '04 (S1 tyres) / MR / ?HP (330HP on garage screen) / 1150kg / ?kg/HP (3.5kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec points!

vs. NTSC 10th lineup after reset:- Pagani Zonda C12 '00, TVR Cerbera Speed Six '97, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport (C4) '96, TVR T350C '03, Proto Motors Spirra 4.6 V8 '04 in starting order.

Beginners Hall: MR Challenge Race 5 - El Capitan
Car: Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited '86 (Used, oil changed) / MR / 142HP / 1070kg / 7.54kg/HP / 200 A-spec by Tired Tyres

This race was 100% stock with S2 tyres (Won at the 4th attempt though!) :)

Professional Hall/Gran Turismo World Championship/ El capitain/ Motul Pitwork Z/ FR/ 509BHP/ 2.26 Kg/BHP / 200 A-spec

El captain, This one is a walk in the park, with the medium compound tyres it comes with, a one stop strategy will find you not being out pitted by the Pescarolo, its up to you to do the driving but it is by far the easiest event to tackle, winning by over 20 seconds is not too difficult, but if you want a real challenge, try using the stock Motul to win Hong Kong, or (a bit easier) Opera Paris, these make the racing much tighter, and you will really have to concentrate to get that 88-C-V or Sauber out your mirrors

Note: some races aren't possible against the Pescarolo because it doesn't pit, and because you are tied to racing mediums you are forced to pit.

Have a go, there is some really good races.

I started a race report for the series where I did this, I never got round to finishing it, and I probably never will

Stevisiov90, please have a look at the rules in post #1 for the information we'd like you to submit to have your race entered on the list, like Tired Tyres has done above your post, i.e.:

Event Hall : Race
Car: / Drivetrain / Power(HP) / Weight(kg) / WPR(kg/HP) / A-spec points.

Please correct your post above and I'll add it at the next update, which is more or less ready to go. However, there's some complications with updating post #1 due to the new character limit on posts with GTP9. We're discussing possible solutions for this at the moment which may involve creating a new thread and merging this one into it.
Stay tuned for more news, and a list update soon. 👍

Close, but no cigar Stevisiov90!

Look at what I requested above.
Look at my last entry, and the one by Tired Tyres too. See the format? ;)

WPR in kg/HP not BHP per tonne.
You've not listed a weight or a drivetrain.
HP not BHP please, I hate having to keep going back and deleting Bs!

Please make further edits.
It makes life a lot easier for me to keep the list in order if everyone submits correctly, so I can cut/paste directly into my text file. If I have to go load up GT4 to find data you can't submit properly, it's a waste of my time. :grumpy: I'm prepared to do it once per member, but that's it.
Actually, I'm 3hrs into Sarthe I 24hr at the moment so I can't even check it until that's over.
If you want it in the list make the appropriate corrections.

Done, sorry, it was a late night last night.

Sorry, just seen your location! :guilty: Didn't realise you were in England, and hence you were updating at around 1am local time!!!
Thanks for making the update. It'll get added to the list now.

Seems the character limit issue may well have been resolved now, so I'll be e-mailing hispeed my latest update soon!

After the update is made, he should add the lastest members to the Welcome to CLUB 200! 👍 list at the bottom of post #1.

Allow me to officially welcome those 4 new members now, MacTarmac, mynameissport, Tired Tyres & Stevisiov90, take a bow! You're CLUB 200ers now! Look forward to more submissions from you soon! 👍

Just PM'd Stevisiov90 regarding the entry stats.
Please look closely
magnify.gif
at the way my last submission is laid out, and that of Tired Tyres just below it. That's exactly the way I'd like all submissions to be made!

Waiting for a PM back and then I'll email the latest update to hispeed and ask him to add the 4 new names to the list too.
