Ok, I really do owe this thread a little attention, and with Thanksgiving coming up this week, a 4 day break should give me a little catch up time.

So the last thing this thread really needs at the moment is another entry for El Capitan 200 miles, but hey, it's a new record for WPR, coming in at 5.3kg/HP! 👍

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Lotus Esprit Turbo HC '87 (S2 Tyres, no oil) / MR / 215HP / 1146kg / 5.3kg/HP / 200 A-Spec points!

European Hall: Deutsche touring Car Championship race 3 - High Speed Ring
Car: Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 TI '93 (S3 tyres, downforce @ 34/51) / 4WD / 414HP / 1010kg / 2.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Lineup #3:
Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car '00
Opel Astra Touring Car '00
Audi A4 Touring Car '00
Audi ABT TT-R Touring Car '02
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 TI '93
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 TI '93 (me)

The rules state that you can run a race car on "Sports Soft" tyres? Tiptoe around the corners, but the Alfa has the top speed and somehow the AI cars lose a lot of time in the final sweeper before the long, long home straight.

The first entry for the DTM not using the Merc 190 :D

Special Conditions : Yosemite Rally II (reverse) : Easy difficulty
Car: Mazda MX-5 1800 RS '00 (6.2mile special, no oil) / FR / 161HP / 1070kg/ 6.65kg/HP / vs. Toyota Celica GT-FOUR RC '91 / 200 A-spec

All dirt races except Grand Canyon done for 200 points, and all using stock cars! :)

Japanese races: Japanese 70's Classics race 2 - Autumn Ring
Car: Nissan Bluebird Hardtop 1800SSS '79(used, no oil)/ FR / 92HP / 1050kg / 11.4kg/HP / 136 A-spec

vs. lineup #2

Japanese races: Japanese 70's Classics race 3 - Tsukuba Circuit
Car: Nissan Bluebird Hardtop 1800SSS '79(used, no oil)/ FR / 92HP / 1050kg / 11.4kg/HP / 117 A-spec

vs. lineup #1

Japanese races: Japanese 70's Classics race 5 - Trial Mountain
Car: Nissan Bluebird Hardtop 1800SSS '79(used, no oil)/ FR / 92HP / 1050kg / 11.4kg/HP / 136 A-spec

vs. lineup #2

Extreme Hall: Premium Sports Lounge race 2 - Opera Paris
Car: Honda NSX Type S '01 / MR / 277HP / 1320kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Extreme Hall: Premium Sports Lounge race 3 - Hong Kong Reverse
Car: Honda NSX Type S '01 / MR / 277HP / 1320kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Extreme Hall: Premium Sports Lounge race 4 - High Speed Ring Reverse
Car: Honda NSX Type S '01 / MR / 277HP / 1320kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Beginners Hall: Lightweight cup race 1 - Driving Park Motorland
Car: Honda S600 '64 (6.2 mile used, no oil) / FR / 56HP / 715kg / 12.8kg/HP / 107 A-Spec points.

vs. first lineup after reset. Almost 100% clean, there's just one touch where an AI car hits my back end out of a bend on lap 3. Have an NTSC replay saved if anyone is interested...:)

It's nowhere close to 200 pts. , but it beats the previous record by 6 A-spec points. 👍

Professional Hall: World Classics - all races
Car: '68 Isuzu 117 Coupe (prizecar, no oil, S1 tires) / FR / 120 HP / 1050 kg / 8.75 kg/hp / 77 A-spec pts against the 8th lineup after a console reset

If the 2 Skylines in the field were replaced by better cars, I'm fairly sure the race would've been worth over 100 A-spec pts.

Since noone's posted an entry for this series:

Manufacturer's Hall: Alpine: Renault Alpine Cup- all races
Car: '73 Alpine A310 1600VE (S1 front, S2 rear, no oil) / RR / 124 HP / 930 kg / 7.5 kg/hp / 128 A-spec pts. against 4 A110S's and 1 A310

[...]
Endurance races: Nurburgring 24h :scared:
Car: Honda S2000 LM Race Car '01 (Tires f/r: R2/R1) / FR / 320HP (14831.9 miles on car  , oil changed)/ 1050kg / 3.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!
Against:
BMW M3 GTR Race Car
Alfa Romeo 155 Touring car
Nissan Falken GT-R Race Car
Chapparal 2D
Toyota Weds Sport Celica (JGTC)
Margin of victory: 3 laps over Chaparral 2D
Best Lap: 6:58.36
Race Distance:
Miles Driven:2726.8
Laps Completed: 208
Time taken: 24:05'37.286

OK, I know this is two years old, but I am running this race right now and there must be a typo in here somewhere. 24:05'37.286 devided by 208 laps equals an average laptime of 6'57.006, which is faster than the posted fastest lap

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS '99(6.2m used, no oil) / 4WD / 312HP/ 1260kg / 4.0kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Endurance races: Nurburgring 24hr
Car: Toyota Altezza Touring Car '01 (R1 tires) / FR / 306HP / 1000kg / 3.268kg/HP / 200 A-spec

The race I was really looking forward to, and having finished, having a hard time motivating myself to race other tracks again...

Total time: 24:04'46.447, 201 laps (average laptime: 7'11.276)
Fastest lap: 6:58'643 on lap 154
Fastest 5-lap stint: 35'39.331 (average laptime: 7'07.866)

Lineup #8 (ish), all DTM cars:
Audi ABT TT-R Touring Car '02 (2nd, + 7 laps)
BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01 (3rd)
Audi A4 Touring Car '04 (5th)
Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car '94 (4th)
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 (6th)

Ran the Altezza with lowered gearing: auto setting 8 (default gearing would leave 5th unused) and lowered downforce to about 65% (32/46).

The Altezza is miles faster than the opposition, and totally at home on the ring. Passed all opponents on lap 1: got the Alfa in Hocheichen, got the Vauxhall at Metzgesfeld, the A4 at Wehrstreifen, the TT-R braking into the Karussell, and slipstreamed past the M3 on the home straight. The TT got past again, but I got him back at Hohenrain and never saw it again until I lapped it.

The list has been updated. Congrats to our new Club200 members and all contributors. Without all of you, this list would not be.
Merry Christmas to you all.

Very hard to do via stock, but is possible with a lot of practice and patience. Took me about 5/6 months to get every 15 races sorted and won with the Judd car. In total 3,000 A-Spec points gained from this hard fought series.

A new Weight to Power ratio record for a 200 points win! :D

Beginner Hall : Sunday Cup : Race 1 Autumn Ring Mini
Car: VW Karmann Ghia Coupe (Type-1) '68 / RR / 44HP / 840kg / 19.1kg/HP  / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 1st lineup after reset, and 100% clean! Have the replay and will hopefully have someone make this into a video for me soon, so you can see it! :)

Special Conditions: Tsukuba Wet Race : Normal difficulty
Car: Honda Mugen Motul Civic Si Race Car '87 (comes with R1 tyres stock) / FF / ?HP (225HP on garage screen / 890kg / ?kg/HP (4.0kg/HP using garage value) vs. Saleen S7 '02 200 A-spec points!

Another 100% clean WRS standard race! :D

My first ever 24-hour race, took me 8 days:

Endurance races: Nürburgring 24hr
Car: RE Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 '04 / FR / 315HP / 1100kg / 3.5kg/HP/ 200 A-spec

24 hours is a long time, the last 8 or so was torture..
This car isn't fond of the curbs, but otherwise it's a joy to drive at the Ring.
Ran on R1's, left all settings alone except turning off driving aids.

Against PAL lineup #8:

Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car '94
Audi Abt TT-R '02
Nissan Falken GT-R Race Car '04
Audi A4 Touring Car '04
BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01

Pitted every 6 laps, same as the Audi TT.
The M3 kept up with the Audi until hour 14, but fell off after that.

Ran 200 laps exactly, best lap 6,58,664 on lap 197 :sly:

Finishing order:
Amemiya RX7
Audi Abt TT-R +6 laps
BMW M3 GTR
Vauxhall Calibra
Nissan Falken
Audi A4

European Hall: Pan Euro Championship race 1 - Opera Paris
Car: Lotus Esprit V8 '02 / 353HP / 1380kg / 3.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec

European Hall: Pan Euro Championship race 2 - Grand Valley Speedway
Car: Lotus Esprit V8 '02 / 353HP / 1380kg / 3.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec

It's nowhere close to 200 pts. , but it beats the previous record by 6 A-spec points. 👍

Professional Hall: World Classics - all races
Car: '68 Isuzu 117 Coupe (prizecar, no oil, S1 tires) / FR / 120 HP / 1050 kg / 8.75 kg/hp / 77 A-spec pts against the 8th lineup after a console reset

Nice work Jason 👍, but I'm gonna have to steal the record back, adding another 12 points to your total, for 89 per race! :mischievous:
Wankel FTW!

Professional Hall: World Classics - all races
Car: Mazda 110S (L10A) '67 (S1 tyres) / FR / 110HP / 940kg / 8.5kg/HP / 89 A-spec points

vs. (an innumerable amount of enter/exits until I came across this lineup: )
Ginetta G4 '64, Lotus Elan S1 '62, Mini Marcos GT '70, Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65, Nissan Silvia (CSP311) '65.

Had to qualify for Fuji to keep up with the Lotus, and Cote D'azur & Laguna to keep the Ginetta at bay.
El Capitan and Nurburgring were easy enough wins from the back of the grid.

Fully expect RVDNuT374 to come back soon with a >90 point entry now! 👍 Competition rules! :D

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Lotus Esprit V8 '02 (S1 tires)/ 353HP / 1380kg / 3.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Could have gone with the stock S2 tires, and still won for 200 points.
Getting pretty sick of this track now, but I need the money...

Evolution Meeting : Race 1 Clubman Stage Route 5
Car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR '96 (Used, no oil) / 4WD / 247HP / 1350kg / 5.5kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Evolution Meeting : Race 3 Tokyo R246
Car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V GSR '98 (Used, no oil) / 4WD / 277HP / 1360kg / 4.9kg/HP / 163 A-spec

As promised, a couple of videos of my latest 200 point exploits, 2 nice clean races captured to video thanks to jump_ace! buddy!

Ok another one race series of high A-Spec points and one 200 A-Spec points. This time is the Gran Turismo World Championship with a Peugeot 905.

That's right...everyone underrates this car especially with the gearbox problem..but stock it will handle fine and if tuned the stock suspension, brakes, transmission, LSD, downforce, remove ASM and leave a bit of TCS...and it can beat the GTWC.

There are 2 different entries with the Peugeot 905 with the Group C all car lineup.

First is the standard R2/R1 with 63/88 downforce which nets 161 points. Also equipping R2/R2 with 63/88 still nets you the same points, but is only useful in my opinion in Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway, Hong Kong and Opera Paris races where you need to pit about laps 10-12 (apart from Motegi Super Speedway the tyres will last until the end of the race so no pitting is required) With R2/R1 you do not need to pit except the races mentioned above.

For 200 points you have to remove 12 points of downforce and equip R1's all round with no oil changes. For my example, I used 63/76 downforce rather than 63/88 which is stock downforce...but can win the GTWC without problems most of the time. For the 200 A-Spec points I did qualify first for Opera Paris and Hong Kong Races and is slightly trickier to win because of reduced downforce and all R1 tyres. This is the most hardest...with slightly less downforce upon the other two. But it still possible with this car to win the series outright, no pitting required except Hong Kong and Opera Paris.

So here are the combinations below with the 905 different tyre and downforce settings.....

The stock entry....

This is in my opinion is so underrated, but if mastered can easily beat the Group C other cars hands down and is one of the best Le Mans cars in the game in my opinion!

Great videos! It looks like a lot of fun! I notice it hasn't been updated in the first post yet though. I'm glad I checked these last few posts.

I'd like to get into this, but how do you know which number lineup you're up against? Do you keep entering and quitting, or reseting the game? Also is there a list that says what the lineups are?

I reset the game, then enter/exit the race without starting, and keep a tally chart of how many times I've done that until I get to the right lineup, the lineup number is the number I've tallied!
Sadly there's not many series that have consistent lineup arrangements, they tend to change based on the car you're entering, the first lineup after a console reset is always the same for a given event, but it will begin to vary at some point after that depending on your car.
The only one I've come across that's truly consistent regardless of cars entered is the Polyphony Digital Cup, for which the first 50 lineups are listed here.

OK. I've got yet another entry for the El Capitan endurance race. The first entry for me, but I think it's the most entered race on the list? Anyway, I looked through and chose a car that wasn't on the list. 👍

Endurance Hall: El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Nissan 350Z (Z33) '03 (S2 tyres) / FR / 282HP / 1320kg / 4.6kg/HP / 200 A-spec points

I'm now off to tackle the NY enduro. Gotta love the holiday season! :D

Merry Christmas.

Right-o! NY enduro. all done. :) And another 200 A-Spec in a new car.

Endurance races: New York 200 miles
Car: Amuse S2000 R1 '04 (S2 tyres) / FR / 259HP / 1120kg / 4.32kg/HP / 200 A-spec points

I think this was the hardest race I've ever done. I had to blast along at 100% for the entire race to keep ahead of the TVR. I'd pull out a bit of a gap at the start and end of each stint, but he'd pull back about 5-7 seconds in the middle. I was only making about 5 seconds per stint on him! And for the whole race I only had one 'moment' - a big drift coming out of turn two on the final lap.

Best race ever!

I'm now off to do the Grand Valley 300. Need to find a decent car though...

And, I also want to question this entry:

Endurance races: New York 200 miles
Car: Suzuki GSXR-4 /4WD (?) /224 HP/ 620 kg/ 183 A-spec by agent kri

I've got two GSX-R/4s - both with 173HP and both weighing 840kg. Also, I don't think this car has a chance of winning this race. :odd:

Thanks for pointing that out, however, I'd ask that you look closely at your GSX-R/4s. They're both carrying 200kgs ballast I suspect. ;)

My stock one shows 173HP and a stock weight of 640kg, and it's an MR drivetrain.

Either way, there's no way agent kri's car can have a stock weight of 620kg, and even with an oil change there's no way to leap from 173 HP to 224HP. Consider this entry removed as of the next update. for your diligence!

Congrats on the two enduro wins too! Glad to see you're having a productive Xmas break! :D
