Because the second one didn't have sound, I played them both at the same time and sync'd them up. :D

Nice driving. 👍

Because the second one didn't have sound, I played them both at the same time and sync'd them up. :D

Didn't think of that! :dunce: Just gave it at try, it works really well! I think PD should put the dual view replay option in GT5!

Anyway, got another unlikely entry from tonight, couldn't manage it 100% clean as I had to block the AI in places and only won by 0.137s from the Shelby....

American Hall : Stars and Stripes : Infineon Stock Car Course
Car: Ford Focus RS '02 / FF / 217HP / 1050kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 1st lineup after reset (NTSC): Pontiac GTO 5.7 Coupe '04, Chevrolet Camaro SS '00, Shelby Series 1 Super Charged '03, Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00, Dodge Viper GTS '99

I'm pretty certain that given enough attempts this could also be achieved 100% clean, but I'm itching to drive something different now! :D

Here's some old entries I forgot I had:

Extreme Hall: GT All Stars: Race 1 - High Speed Ring Reverse
Car: Nissan R390GT1 LM Race Car (Black used, no oil change)/MR/722hp/1000kg/1.4kg/HP/200 A-Spec Points
Extreme Hall: GT All Stars: Race 2 - Fuji Speedway '80s
Car: Nissan R390GT1 LM Race Car (Black used, no oil change)/MR/722hp/1000kg/1.4kg/HP/200 A-Spec Points
Extreme Hall: GT All Stars: Race 4 - Autumn Ring Reverse
Car: Nissan R390GT1 LM Race Car (Black used, no oil change)/MR/722hp/1000kg/1.4kg/HP/200 A-Spec Points
Extreme Hall: GT All Stars: Race 10 - Nurburgring Nordschliefe
Car: Nissan R390GT1 LM Race Car (Black used, oil change)/MR/760hp/1000kg/1.3kg/HP/145 A-Spec Points

If I remember rightly I used R2 tyres on the front and R1s rear. And it was against:
Nissan R89C '89
Playstation Pescarolo C60 '04
Minolta Toyota 88CV '89
Gillet Vertigo '04
Jaguar XJR-9 '88

Manufacturer's Events: Nissan : Race Of The Red "R" Emblem : Twin Rin Motegi Road Course.
Car: Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT-8 '02 / FR / 267HP / 1550kg / 5.8k/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 3rd lineup after reset, NTSC, in starting order: Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C '84, Nissan Skyline GT-R '87, Nissan Skyline GT-R '91, Nissan Skyline GT-R M-spec '01, Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec '97

Sorry guys, but time has been at a premium over the last few weeks, and I'm still looking for an hour or so to set aside to doo an update here. It'll come soon enough though, so watch this space! ;)

A repeat of something that's already been done by alhajoth, but I'm happy to claim my remaining A-spec points in this race.

Extreme Hall: Premium Sports Lounge race 4 - High Speed Ring
Car: Honda NSX Type S '01 / MR / 277HP / 1320kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 4th lineup after reset, has Spyker C8 Laviolette on pole.

*edit* And a new one too. :)
Extreme Hall: Premium Sports Lounge race 2 - Opera Paris
Car: Honda NSX Type R '02 / MR / 291HP / 1270kg / 4.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 8th lineup after reset, has Mercedes SL55 AMG on pole.

*another edit* upping my previous best points tally in this race a little, although still not the magic 200. :(

Professional Hall: Clubman cup race 1 - Apricot Hill
Car: Toyota Caldina GT-Four '02 / 4WD / 256HP / 1480kg / 5.8kg/HP / 153 A-spec points

vs. 4th lineup after reset, Dodge SRT4 '03, Honda Integra Type-R (DC5) '03, Misubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR '95, Honda S2000 '04, Lotus Carlton '90, and relies on a little strategic blocking of the Lotus! :mischievous:

Finally found time for an update this evening. :guilty:
It's been waaaaaaay toooooo long since the last one, but life is hectic all of a sudden.
Will e-mail hispeed the updated file soon.

CLUB 200 welcomes a new member for this update and your name will be added to the CLUB 200 list in post #1, when the update occurs.
Hats off

to Falcon787B for joining our Elite clan!

Keep the races coming folks! :D

Inspired by this claim by Smallhorses:

So the last thing this thread really needs at the moment is another entry for El Capitan 200 miles, but hey, it's a new record for WPR, coming in at 5.3kg/HP! 👍

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Lotus Esprit Turbo HC '87 (S2 Tyres, no oil) / MR / 215HP / 1146kg / 5.3kg/HP / 200 A-Spec points!

I rummaged through my garage, looking for something to beat the record with.
And.... Success!👍

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Nissan 350Z Roadster '03 (S2 tires) / FR / 282HP / 1550kg / 5.5kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Won by 1 full lap, so there's certainly room for improving the record further..

Two more races:

Professional Hall: NA Sports race 1 - Infineon
Car: Hyundai HCD6 '01 / MR / 219HP(garage value) / 1150kg / 5.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec

SL Challenge: El Capitan
Car: Mercedes-Benz SL 500 '98(used, no oil) / FR / 272HP / 1800kg / 6.6kg/HP / 173 A-spec

Edit: With regards to the SL challenge race, there is atleast 195 points out there if you choose the right lineup. Winning shouldn't be a problem anyway, it's El Capitan after all..

That's impressive alhajoth, although I just realised I hadn't snatched your record away in the first place! :guilty: The 5.4kg/HP Pontiac Solstice Coupe Concept that you ran was still the real record holder....until now!
I may have to have another dig at this sometime soon, I've got 150 cars left to buy totalling 69,000,000Cr but only have 24,000,000Cr in the bank. :grumpy:
Might see what else will come up trumps here in the >5.5kg/HP category! ;)
Isn't inspiration & competition great! 👍 :D

I've got 48 cars left to buy, for roughly 75 million. And I've only got about 100k in the bank.:scared:
Saved all the most expensive for last, which is not the most inspiring. Running El Capitan and selling the Minolta is no longer enough to buy even a single car..👎

Looking through my garage to find a car for that race, I saw at least 20 possible winners with a higher WPR, so hopefully we can get some sort of contest going here.
As you say, competition tends to make things more interesting. :)

Sounds great to me! 👍

In the meantime, here's my best attempt at this race so far:

Endurance Hall : Super Speedway 150 miles
Car: Toyota GT-One Race Car (TS020) '99 (New from dealer, no oil change) / MR / ?HP (776HP on garage screen / 900kg / ?kg/HP (1.2kg/HP using garage value) / 118 A-spec points.

vs. Pescarolo Courage C60, Nissan R89C, Nissan R92CP, Bentley Speed 8, Minolta Toyota 88C-V

Report & times here.

Firstly, hispeed for getting post #1 up to date!
The CLUB 200 list now contains Falcon787B as a registered member. 👍

Secondly, as is typical right after an update, I've another 200 point race for the list! :ouch:

Endurance Hall : Grand Valley 300km
Car: Toyota SuperAutobacs Apex MR-S (JGTC) '00 (R1 tyres, oil changed) / MR / 316HP / 1125kg / 3.6kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

Grand Valley 300km. 200 A-spec points in stock Toyota SuperAutobacs Apex MR-S (JGTC) is the full race report with map & pictures.

Manufacturer's Events: Nissan : Race Of The Red "R" Emblem : Twin Rin Motegi Road Course.
Car: Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT-8 '02 / FR / 267HP / 1550kg / 5.8k/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 3rd lineup after reset, NTSC, in starting order: Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C '84, Nissan Skyline GT-R '87, Nissan Skyline GT-R '91, Nissan Skyline GT-R M-spec '01, Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec '97

;)

Impressive work Smallhorses and thanks for the lead.
I still needed to clear 4 of these races for 200 points. I modified my Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT-8 '02 with all non power upgrades.
Intrestingly my line up 3 was not exactly the same as yours, I had the Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C '84 starting 2nd.
Also the full race transmission gives 8 forward gears.

Ok another stock 200 A-Spec Point races.

This time at the Circuit De La Sarthe 2 endurance race. This time with the AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car '98, managed to get the magical number. As long as you equip R1 tyres all round at the start and pit every 7 laps, you will win the race no problem when I tried it. You can switch to R2/R1 tyre combo if you prefer after first stop.

Endurance races: Sarthe 24hr II
Car: AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car '98 (R1 tyres) / MR / ?HP (garage value 797HP) / 1000kg / ?kg/HP (1.25kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-Spec by mynameissport

V.S. PAL LINEUP 9 AFTER CONSOLE RESET:

Nissan R92CP
Nissan R89
Minolta Toyota 88C-V
Sauber Mercedes C9
Jaguar XJR-9

Next, the Infineon World Sports Endurance race, using the Nissan GT-R Concept car, as long as you are not up against a Mercedes C9, Nissan R89 or R92CP, Toyota 88C-V then you should be fine. As long as you are careful not to have too many GT1 cars in your field that will reduce A-Spec points. If you go well on your tyres and pace then you will survive every 16 laps pit stops with the car. As well going at a good consistent pace will win you the race. Slightly easier challenge than the Nissan 350Z Concept LM Car but still worth a try.

Endurance races: Infineon World Sports endurance
Car: Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car '02 (R1 tires, oil change) / FR / 651HP / 1100kg / 1.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec by mynameissport

V.S. PAL LINEUP (Can't remember the exact lineup counts after console reset):
BMW V12 LMR
Mazda 787B
Jaguar XJR-9
Pescarolo Courage C60
Nissan R390GT1

Next up, All Japan GT Championship race 1-10 using the RE Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 Super GT/JGTC 300 Race car. Winning the Super Speedway race took some tries but got there, but another Super GT 300 car that can win the championship up against the Super GT cars.

Japanese races: All Japan GT Championship races 1-10:
Car: RE Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 (JGTC) '04 (oil changed) / FR / 340HP / 1100kg / 3.2kg/HP / 200 A-Spec by mynameissport

Endurance Hall : El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Honda NSX Type R '02 (S1 tyres, no oil change) / MR / 291HP / 1270kg / 4.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points

Race report.

Endurance Hall: Nurburgring 4hr race

Vehicle: Ford SVT F-150 Lightning (S1 tires, oil change)/ FR / 405hp / 2132kg / 5.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points

I'll be the first to welcome 2 new CLUB 200 members to our ranks, well done VTiRoj & Adamgp for your endurance efforts! Look out for your names in the CLUB 200 list in Post #1 next time an update happens! (May not be for a while yet, as I've got another LAN event to plan for and a tonne of other "real" work to be getting on with, sorry. :guilty:)

I've another entry, which confirms some previous submissions by jdw & alhajoth. Very tough races, which involved qualifying first and blocking like mad in places to hold on to the lead, which I'm not usually a fan of, although it netted me 20 extra points over 4 races so the ends justify the means, just about! ;) Despite qualifying first at Suzuka, I just couldn't keep the AI behind me from the standing start and finished 2nd. :grumpy:

Stars of Pleiades : Tsukuba, Trial Mountain Reverse, Deep Forest Reverse, Laguna Seca.
Car: Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon 3.0R '03 / 4WD / 246HP / 1480kg / 6.0kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

i don't know if this counts but the seoul central race of the gt world championship is easy at 200pts in the black beauty gt-one (no oil change). just ride the wall on the hairpin before the long straight and don't pit - its EASY :-)

From "RULES" in Post #1: No wallriding or shortcuts including riding AI cars in corners. 2 tires on the track at all times.

That'd be a no then. 👎

You should, however, be able to win this race in this car without wallriding anyway, it's been done by a couple of people before. :)

Professional Hall: World Compact Car Series- (all races)

Car: Mazda MX-5 Miata '89 (Used, no oil, S1 tires) / FR / 107HP / 940 kg / 8.8kg/hp / 146 A-spec pts. against the 6th lineup after reset

As a bonus, I beat the A-spec record by 5 pts in 3 races, and 7 pts. in the other two. 👍 ;) :sly:

Nice job, and a great way to raise the bar! 👍
You know I have a soft spot for Miatas, right!! :D

Finished this last night:

Professional Hall: GT World Championship Race 1 & 3 - 10
Car: Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98 (New, no oil, R2 tyres, Downforce F/R 51/71) / MR / 789HP / 1000kg / 1.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points! per race.

Had to qualify for Hong Kong & Opera Paris races, vs. 6th lineup after reset.

Professional Hall: GT World Championship Race 2 - Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway
Car: Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98 (New, no oil, R2 tyres, Full Downforce) / MR / 789HP / 1000kg / 1.3kg/HP / 175 A-spec points.

Made it a clean sweep of wins, for the championship, but sadly with the reduced downforce settings, the tyre wear on Super Speedway wasn't good, and I couldn't win it despite many tries. :grumpy: Put downforce back on, and won by a slender margin, but left 25 points begging. :(

Endurance Hall: Suzuka 1000 km
Car: '01 Toyota Altezza Touring Car (oil changed, R1 tires, downforce @ 38/50) / FR / 321 HP / 1000kg / 3.21 kg/HP / 200 A-spec pts. against this lineup:

1. '01 Castrol Toms' Supra JGTC
2. '00 Opel Astra Touring Car
3. '01 Pennzoil Zexel Skyline GT-R JGTC
4. '01 Mobil 1 NSX JGTC
5. '03 Takata Dome NSX JGTC

The margin of victory after 172 laps was only 43.526 sec over the Astra. Amazingly, not one car was lapped at any point in this race. 👍 Due to the AI pit stops, they stuck close together for most of the event.

WORLD CLASSIC CAR SERIES (Professional Hall)

All races completed.

Car: 1967 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-B (S54A)

6 A-Spec Points

Vehicle stock, no oil.

123hp @ 5600 RPM
122.89 ft.lbs torque @ 4400rpm

1095kg Curb Weight

8.9024 P:W ratio.

@ Rotary Junkie: Please post race, car & stats in the format requested in post #1 if you'd like this to appear in the list.
Thanks.

Look at RVDNuT374's post above yours for a correctly formatted entry. ;)

*edit* Or try this one below!

Endurance Hall : Tokyo R246 300km
Car: Toyota Wedsport Celica (JGTC) '03 (R1 tyres, Downforce F/R 25/41 ) / FR / 307HP / 1050kg / 3.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec points! :D

Full race report, lineup & pictures are here:
Tokyo R246 300km. 200 A-spec points in stock Toyota Wedsport Celica (JGTC)

*edit2* Upping the bar a little in this Beginner Hall FF race.

Beginner Hall : FF Challenge : Twin Ring Motegi East
Car: Chrysler PT-Cruiser '00 / FF / 150HP / 1270kg / 8.5kg/HP / 191 A-spec points.

vs. 3rd lineup after reset, has Mazda 323F on pole. Reasonably easy to win cleanly if you pick your passing moments well, took about 7-9 attempts to get fully clean, after learning AI lines. :sly:

*edit3* Added a few extra points here too.

Special Conditions Hall : Umbria Rally (Easy)
Car: Toyota MR2 Spyder (6-speed sequential manual transmission) '02 / MR / 142HP / 980kg / 6.9kg/HP / vs. Audi Quattro '82 / 95 A-spec points

2 new submissions for today:

Special Conditions : Capri Rally : Normal difficulty
Car: Honda S2000 '04 / FR / 243HP / 1250kg / 5.1kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M.E. '00 / 156 A-spec points

Special Conditions: George V Rally (reverse) : Normal difficulty
Car: Honda S2000 Type V '03 / FR / 242HP / 1270kg / 5.2kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR '04 / 156 A-spec points

The CLUB 200 list in Post #1 is now up to date with our latest new members, VTiRoj & Adamgp. 👍

The race list is now also up to date including my 2 races above.

Race on everyone!!!

*edit* As if another entry is needed for this race anyway?
Oh well, had to get a 4WD entry for it of my own. :D

Endurance Hall : El Capitan 200 miles
Car: Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II N1 '00 (Tyres F/R S1/S2) / 4WD / 328HP / 1550kg / 4.7kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

Detailed details are here! :P

And another on for El Capt

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: Nissan 240RS Rally Car '85 (S1 tires) / FR / 240HP / 970kg / 4.1kg/HP / 200 A-spec by OpenAddict

PAL Lineup 2 with no lotus in the field. Easy with MOV over 1 lap on the Shelby Supercharger

Special Conditions Hall : George V Paris (Normal)
Car: Honda Gathers Drider Civic Race Car '98 (Comes with R1 tyres stock, min. downforce) / FF / 183HP / 930kg / 5.1kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR '04 / 152 A-spec points

*edit* Upping my own bar in a few places tonight it seems. :)

Professional Hall : Clubman Cup : Seoul Reverse
Car: Toyota Modellista Celica TRD Sports M (ZZT231) '00 (S3 tyres stock) / FF / 197HP / 1140kg / 5.8kg/HP / 158 A-spec points.

vs. 8th lineup after reset, comprised of all FF opponents.

*edit* Gained some more points at the Dream Car Championship.

Extreme Hall : Dream Car Championship : 1 - 5, 7, 9 & 10.
Car: Honda Raybrig NSX (JGTC) '00 (Minimum downforce 20/40) / MR / ?HP (489HP on garage screen) / 1150kg / ?kg/HP (2.5kg/HP using garage value) / 200 A-spec points per race!

vs. 3rd lineup after reset, has Nissan GT-R LM, 2 x Ford GT LMs, Jaguar XJ220 LM & Chevy Camaro LM. Had to qualify first for each race. ;) Test Course and Le Sarthe left the Honda totally outgunned though. :(

Inspired by alhajoth's claim, I too had a rummage through some of the cars that I'd not yet bought and driven to see if I could find something suitable to take back the record!!

Endurance races: El Capitan
Car: BMW Z4 '03 (Oil changed, S2 tyres) / FR / 239HP / 1365kg / 5.7kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Full report with a credit to alhajoth, my opponents & pitstops + MOV is here. :D
