Hi, I'd like to join the Club 200

Is that race good to get me in ? :)
Here's a link with some pictures to "kinda" prove it:
http://www.geocities.com/cdesign_info/ELCAPITAN.html

Race :
Endurance Races - EL Capitan
Car: Amuse S2000 R1, no oil / FR / 259HP / 1120kg / 4.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Lineup : (don't remember starting order)
Amuse S2000 R1 '04 ------------------------ 2'06'51.xxx (picture not wide enough :P )
Lotus Motorsport Elise '99 ------------------- Running (2 Laps)
Shelby Series 1 Super Charged '03 ----------- 2'07'06.3xx (3 Laps)
Proto Motors SPIRRA 4.6 V8 '04 -------------- Running
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) '00 ------------- Running
Ford MUSTANG SVT Cobra R '00 -------------- Running

Race was pretty easy... And boring lol... Anyway, done it :D

EDIT : Will anyone plz tell me if I'm in or if I need to find one myself ? (meaning new car+race of 200 pts)

Beginners hall: 4WD Challenge Race 3 - Suzuka East

Car: Toyota Celica 2000GT-Four '86 / 4WD / 183Hp / 1350kg / 200 A-spec

vs any linup without trucks

Special Conditions: Tsukuba Wet Race : Normal difficulty
Car: Honda Dualnote '01 / 4WD/ 410(?)HP / 1400kg / ?kg/HP / 200 A-spec
vs. Saleen S7

I think this car may go by a different name in other versions of the game(I have PAL). It's won in the license-tests.

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally : Easy difficulty
Car: Pontiac Sunfire GXP Concept '02 / FF/ 183(?)HP (/ 1257kg / ?kg/HP / vs. Toyota Celica GT-Four RC (ST185) '91 200 A-spec

I also noticed there were some questionmarks surrounding the Fuji 1000km. I have also done that race in a stock black Nissan R390 with no oilchange and R1 tires, and won 200 points. I don't know the Hp-values though, but I can confirm it's possible. Quite easy, actually. :)

Sorry guys, I've been horribly busy with work over the past few weeks, bouncing between San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles, and it's only now that I've a quiet night in a hotel in Davis, CA. that I've had time to review all the recent submissions here in the CLUB 200 thread. :guilty:

I've made an update to my list which is winging it's way via satellite & all that other technological marvel that is the internet, to hispeed for his wisdom and approval. :)

CLUB 200 is recognising 5 new members at long last, M2R, johnnya1306 & ving who were promised a mention long ago, and more recently Snyp & alhajoth who've made significant entries too. 👍

I have one question for alhajoth regarding the last submission in his post though since it's already in the list, the exact same car and opponent which I submitted myself for 173 points. I'm curious since you've quoted the same car & opponent, and identical statisics for 200 points. This doesn't seem right somehow. Can you check the HP value for your Pontiac Sunfire? The only way I can see this achieving 200 points is if you've worn the car's oil out, by adding some serious mileage to the vehicle, which'd lead to HP depreciation. Please check the selling screen within the garage for this car, since the replay value will always list the original stock HP for the car regardless of whether it has 0 or 9000 miles on the clock. If it is indeed different because it's worn out, I'd like to reflect that in the list. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it takes less than a minute to check, & I want to keep the list accurate, so that others may easily replicate races for maximum points.

I have added the update for Fuji 1000km by him to the list too.

Please be patient while hispeed takes time out of his even busier working life to update post #1 to reflect these changes, he has a job far more complicated and important than many of us wish to contemplate!

Smallhorses

*edit* Also, extreme congratulations are due, once again for the commitment & dedication of all CLUB 200 members and everyone who submits to & views this thread for elevating it into the top 30 most viewed and used threads within the GT4 section of GT Planet!

The Sunfire I used was brand new, hadn't raced it an inch. I did the race based on your entry, and was a bit surprised when I got 200 points.
I did not change the oil, or do anything with the car at all.

We did race two different opponents though, so I figure that must be the reason for the discrepancy.

The stats:

Car: Pontiac Sunfire GXP Concept '02 / FF/ 183HP on garage screen, no entry on selling screen / 1257kg /

Sorry alhajoth, that's my mistake :dunce:!
Didn't read the entry carefully enough did I? :dopey:
Failed to notice that my entry was against the '86 Celica, whereas yours is against the '91. :ouch:

Once again apologies for the confusion, I'll add your submission to the list, but it'll only appear when the next update appears, sometime in mid-March, most likely. :guilty:

Hi all of you.
The list has been updated, thanks for all submissions and welcome new CLUB200-members.
A special thanks to smallhorses for his excellent work in maintaining and revising the list for me. Without him there would be no updated list. Big 👍

Thanks hispeed! :embarrassed:

As ever, I've done it again, the day after a list update and I run a full point race! It's one I've done before, but with a different car this time, and much more of a challenge!

Race of the Red "R" Emblem : Trial Mountain Reverse
Car: Nissan Skyline Hard Top 2000 RS (R30) '83 (6.2mile used, oil changed) / FR / 206HP / 1175kg / 5.7kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 5th lineup after reset. Has 3 x '00 Skylines, an '87 and '84 on the grid. Scarily enough the '00 V-spec II starts on pole too, but the 4WDs are very slow through the latter part of the course and tonnes of time can be had in the bends after the second tunnel, and in the first chicane. 👍

*edit* Some more races, not quite full points..... had to qualify in 1st for each one, only took 2nd place at Suzuka though. :(

Manufacturer Events : Subaru : Stars Of Pleiades : Tsukuba, Trial Mountain Reverse, Deep Forest Reverse, Laguna Seca
Car: Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon GT-B '96 (Used, no oil) / 4WD / 249HP / 1430kg / 5.7kg/HP / 195 A-spec points.

vs. a lineup with 3 Imprezas, '98, '95 & '94 and 2 Legacy Sedans, an '03 and the '98

Special Conditions Hall: Tsukuba Circuit Wet (Easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '02 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R Vspec Nur Edition for 200 A-spec pts. by RVDNuT374

American Races: Muscle Car Competition (HotRod in NA) race 3 - El Capitan
Car: Ford Taurus SHO '98 (Used, oil changed) / FF / 234HP / 1509kg / 6.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

As unbelievable as it sounds (after many, many attempts, mind you! :P) I was able to complete this race 100% cleanly against some really stiff competition! A complete race report and MAX drive replay can be found here:-

Not so slow! Stock SHO!

*edit* More fun! :D
American Races: Muscle Car Competition (HotRod in NA) race 1 - New York
Car: Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept '02 / FR / 488HP / 2268kg / 4.6kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 5th lineup after reset, in starting order Ford Mustang GT '05, Dodge Viper GTS '99, Shelby Series 1 Super Charged '03, Dodge Viper SRT10 '03, Dodge SRT4 '03.

Got another, nearly 100% clean, but the Shelby hit the back of me at one point trying to get back into his AI "slot" when it'd've been far easier (and he'd have gone on to win the race!) to stay to my left and use his superior power to blast away! Oh well, you can't legislate for stupidity! :mischievous: I have the replay saved if anyone in the NTSC area wants it. 👍

American Races: Stars and Stripes Race 1 - Laguna Seca
Car: Ford Mustang GT '05 / FR / 296HP / 1568kg / 5.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 2nd lineup after a console reset.
Pontiac GTO, Chevy Camaro SS, Shelby Series 1, Chevy Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper GTS.

Special Conditions: George V Rally Reverse (easy)
Car: '86 Toyota MR2 1600 Supercharged (used, oil changed) / MR / 142 HP / 1070 kg / 7.54 kg/hp / vs. '91 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Evoluzione for 126 A-spec pts. by RVDNuT374

Special Conditions: Tour of Tahiti (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '82 Audi Quattro for 166 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions: Tour of Tahiti Reverse (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '91 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Evoluzione for 181 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Yosemite Rally I (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '91 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Evoluzione for 181 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Yosemite Rally I Reverse (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '82 Audi Quattro for 166 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Yosemite Rally II (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '91 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Evoluzione for 181 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Yosemite Rally II Reverse (easy)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '86 Toyota Celica 2000GT-Four (ST162) for 152 A-spec pts.

Manufacturers Events : Mitsubishi : Mirage Cup : All Races
Car: Mitsubishi Mirage Cyborg ZR '97 (Used, no oil) / FF / 156HP / 1060kg / 6.8kg/HP / 190 A-spec points.

vs. lineup with 4 x 1400GLXs and 1 Cyborg ZR. Qualifying required, although the AI is pretty bad at driving the 1400GLXs and they spend a lot of time in the sand at Tsukuba and Suzuka, so you could possibly get away without it in some races.

Proof that I'm not infallable either! :guilty:

I've just been right through my game save, entering every race to check it against an A-spec points sheet and I had a 27 point discrepancy. Taken me ages to find it, and I could've sworn this was a full pointer, but I've found the points now, and will have to try something else for the full amount!

Special Conditions: Tsukuba Wet Race : Easy difficulty
Car: Mazda MX-Crossport '05 / 4WD/ 260HP / 1600kg / 6.2kg/HP / 173 A-spec points. (Was incorrectly listed as a 200 point race. :dunce: )

Sorry for any confusion. Corrections will be made at the next round of updates. :ouch:

Also this was listed under Normal instead of Easy, I pasted it in the wrong place. Also corrected for the next update.

Special Conditions: Whistler Ice Race (reverse) : Easy difficulty
Car: Honda Odyssey '03 / 4WD / 158HP / 1700kg / 10.8kg/HP  / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR Rally Car '74 194 A-spec points

Special Condition Hall: Capri Rally (normal)
Car: '01 Hyundai HCD6 (oil changed) / MR / 230 HP / 1150 kg / 5.00 kg/hp / vs. '04 Mistubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR for 138 A-spec pts.

Nice going with the races Smallhorses. ;) 👍

Endurance races: Nurburgring 24hr
Car: Nissan GT-R Concept (Tokyo Show) '01 / -- / 455HP / 1560kg / 3.432kg/HP / 152 A-spec points.

Against lineup #1. Resulting in some good racing, Falken GT-R finished on the lead lap, report here.

And I want to echo hispeed's earlier comment, thanks Smallhorses for your work here and in the community. +rep.

Ok then, well I've made up for my previous foible :dopey:, going back to the Tsukuba Wet Race (Easy) to claim those remaining 27 points! :D

Special Conditions: Tsukuba Wet Race : Easy difficulty
Car: Nissan Fairlady Z 280 Z-L 2seater (S130) '78 (Oil changed) / FR / 150HP / 1225kg / 8.2kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 6th opponent after reset, a Mazda RX-8 Type S '03

Special Conditions Hall: George V Rally Reverse (normal)

Car: '02 Pontiac Solstice Coupe Concept / FR / 243 HP (no oil) / 1318 kg / 5.42 kg/hp / vs. '04 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR for 130 A-spec pts.

My first 200 point dirt rally race! 👍 :sly: :

Special Conditions Hall: Yosemite Rally I (normal)
Car: '00 Lotus Elise (no oil) / MR / 120 HP / 714 kg / 5.95 kg/hp / vs. '96 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR for 200 A-spec pts.

Most fun I've had so far in GT4!

It took me forever to manage a clean race for this thread, but here it is!!

Extreme hall: Real Circuit Tours Race 8 - Nurburgring

Car: Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00 (oil changed) / FR / 627 HP / 1150kg / 1.83 kg/hp / 200 A-spec points.

Finish:
1. Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00 12'58.440
2. Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car ' 89 12'58.620 :scared:
3. Audi R8 Race Car '01 -II---III--
4. Bentley Speed 8 Race Car '03 -II---III--
5. BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car -II---III--
6. Pagani Zonda LM Race Car '01 -II---III--

I'm now trying to do the same with stock Nissan PENNZOIL NISMO GT-R '99 :sly: Already under 2 seconds from winning, but I have some trouble in keeping it clean (on track). I'll post it when I get it right. Luckily the AI-cars go berserk in lap 2 and thats where I'm going to strike like a penguin! :mischievous:

Another one with the same car: This one was a bit easier, but a fun race anyhow.

Extreme hall: Real Circuit Tours Race 4 - Laguna Seca Raceway

Car: Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00 (oil changed) / FR / 627 HP / 1150kg / 1.83 kg/hp / 200 A-spec points.

1. Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00 13'31.648
2. BMW V12 LMR Race Car '99 13'41.966
3. Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 13'43.095
4. Toyota GT-ONE Race Car (TS020) '99 -II---III--
5. Gillet Vertigo Race Car '04 -II---III--
6. Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car '01 13'36.215 (-1 lap)

I would have surely lost this one aswell, if the R92CP had spent more time on the track than on the sand...
I guess from the Real Circuit Tours the Infineon is possible with this Viper, but the other 5 need a more powerful car (or a better driver:dunce: ).

Sorry that there are no pics to prove this all, but I might add some later, when I have a memory stick. Have a nice day everyone!

Tuuba-A

Special Conditions Hall: Capri Rally Reverse (hard)
Car: '97 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV Rally Car (no oil, downforce @ 13/17) / 4WD / 289 HP / 1230 kg / 4.25 kg/hp / vs. '85 Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car for 170 A-spec pts.

Special Conditions Hall: Swiss Alps Rally (hard)
Car: '94 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II (used, oil changed) / 4WD / 311 HP / 1500 kg / 4.82 kg/hp / vs. '03 Subaru Impreza Rally Car for 200 A-spec pts.

👍

Beginners Hall: FF Challenge Race 1 - Midfield Raceway
Car: Toyota Starlet Glanza V '97 (Used, no oil) / FF / 120HP / 920kg / 7.7kg/HP / 178 A-spec points.

vs. 3rd lineup after reset. Requires a lot of blocking once the Lupo GTi is passed, :guilty: but otherwise it was clean.

Beginners hall: FR Challenge race 5 - Driving Park Motorland

Car: Nissan Silvia Varetta '00 (used, oil changed) / FR / 163HP / 1330kg / 8.16kg/HP / 200 A-spec by alhajoth

Professional hall: Turbo race 3 - High Speed Ring

Car: Nissan Skyline GT-R '97(10k special, no oil) / 4WD / 320HP / 1530kg / 4.8kg/HP / 200 A-spec by alhajoth

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally (reverse) : Easy difficulty

Car: Mazda RX-7 GT-Limited '85(10k special, oil changed) / FR / 192HP / 1280kg / 6.67kg/HP / vs. Ford Focus RS '02 200 A-spec by alhajoth

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally : Normal difficulty

Car: Lotus Elise 111S '03 / MR / 154HP / 806kg / 5.23kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR '96 200 A-spec by alhajoth

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally (reverse) : Normal difficulty

Car: Lotus Elise 111R '04 / MR / 189BHP / 860kg / 4.55kg/HP/ vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV Rally Car '97 200 A-spec by alhajoth

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally (reverse) : Hard difficulty

Car: Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi '02 / 4WD / 311HP / 1440kg / 4.63kg/HP / vs. Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car '85 200 A-spec by alhajoth

On the last race, there was some luck involved. The Lancia is way too fast for me to keep up with, but he keeps crashing out in one corner. He spins out and skids to a complete halt. He then takes aim, and gifts me with a 5-second penalty when I try to pass him..

Anyways, on the fifth try or so he did his usual spin, only this time it took him about 15 seconds to recover allowing me to get past him safely and cruise to victory.
I've now gotten all 1200 points from the Swiss Rally in stock cars, so I'm gonna reward myself with a cookie.

Good work alhajoth! I'll be doing an update soon, now that I'm back from England, done with snowboarding and caught up with work!

That said, I've another entry of my own, not for maximum points though, but at least it bumps the stock total into triple digits for this race! (just!)

Endurance races: Roadster 4h
Car: Mazda MX-5 Miata VR-Limited (NA,J) '95 (Used, no oil, S1(SH)tyres) / FR / 118HP / 980kg / 8.3kg/HP / 104 A-spec points.

vs. 18th lineup after reset. 1800 RS starts in 4th place, is slow on cold tyres and struggles to pass backmarkers, but once he's in clear air he's hellishly quick! Even so, there was only about 3 contacts between us in the whole race, once when he bumped by on the inside of the last turn :grumpy: and twice running into the back of me while braking for the last turn. :irked:

Won by 15.113s :nervous:

Beginner's Hall: Sunday Cup- Autumn Ring Mini Reverse
Car: '91 Honda Beat (used, no oil) / MR / 58 HP / 760 kg / 13.1 kg/hp / for 200 A-spec pts.

Opponents in starting order:

1. '03 Peugeot 106 S16
2. '83 Honda Ballade Sports CRX 1.5i
3. '00 Fiat Barchetta Giovane Due
4. '00 Renault Megane 2.0 IDE Coupe
5. '02 Mini Cooper

Japanese Hall: Japanese 70's Classics- Autumn Ring Mini Reverse
Car: Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR '70 (used, no oil) / MR / 111 HP / 980kg / 8.83 kg/hp / 89 A-spec pts. against the 2nd lineup after reset

Japanese Hall: Japanese 70's Classics- Fuji Speedway 80's
Car: Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR '70 (used, no oil) / MR / 111 HP / 980kg / 8.83 kg/hp / 70 A-spec pts. against the first lineup after reset

Japanese races: Japanese 90's Challenge race 4 - Special Stage 5
Car: Nissan Silvia Q's Aero (S14) '93 (Used, oil changed) / FR / 154HP / 1160kg / 7.5kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 2nd lineup after reset.

*edit* Not maximum points, but a significant improvement on my previous best....
Japanese races: Japanese 90's Challenge race 5 - Fuji 90s
Car: Mitsubishi FTO GPX '97 (Used, no oil) / FF / 178HP / 1170kg / 6.6kg/HP / 172 A-spec points.

vs. 2nd lineup after reset.

I'd just like to say this is the most interesting thread on these message boards, mainly because this is close the the spirit of how I like to play the game. Also I have a possible adition to the 200 pts catergory.

Special conditions Hall: Tsukaba wet race (Hard)
Car: Nisssan Xanavi Hiroto GT-R JGTC 2001 (New) / FR / 474HP / 1100kg / 6.9kg/HP / 200 A-spec points by dadada1

vs MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989

Smallhorses, I may need to check and edit the garage data one more time before you paste and copy.

Done.

Thanks dadada1, but please read post #1 carefully, and make your submission in the following format:-

RACE
Car: / Drivetrain / Power (HP) / Weight (kg) / WPR (kg/HP) / A-spec points.

This way it's easier for me to cut and paste entries to the list.

Please edit your post above to include this info, and I'll happily add you at the next update. 👍 Please use HP and weight values from the selling screen in the garage.
