I've never seen the girl and still think this sucks. You keep on showing your true self, and that's not a good thing.

Your opinion on a girl's appearance may vastly differ from another's. Most likely you are the other half that I didn't point out. Seeing one post about this news on Facebook made it very clear that many actually cared about the Supra, but the rest cared because shes some model. Its a shame to see what attractiveness and desire does to humans, eh?

Showing your true self is better than being a fake person. I think you're still a bit frustrated from the Questionable Modifications thread, perhaps?

This one has just popped up on my news feed. Not local to me at all obviously, but there might be some people on here in that area. Not very many details though.

I'm about 45 mins from the Whitehall area. Might keep a lookout, there are quite a few Lancer's in the area.

Wait... Do you have a better picture of that? Some guy is always at the house across the street in an Evo that looks strangely familiar to that one...

Agreed.

My homie's computer shop.

He had a employee working (which was a close friend). Well for a period over 6 months he noticed more and more hard drives and RAM were being stolen from the back. Then when it got into the thousand plus dollar range he was really trying to find out who did it and fast.

Next shipment he put a few of those dog tracking chips and named them and put them in a few different boxes. Then sure enough later that day they started to move.

Well he was having dinner over at the guy's house later that night anyway with some of their friends and the guys family.
After they ate dinner and before he left him and his wife and kids and some of their friends were sitting in the room. He said before I go I want my two boxes of hard drives and RAM (which all that was taken was almost to 3000 dollars). Then after explaining what he did the guy gave him all the stuff back.

After he got that loaded up in his car he told him in front of his family and friends you are fired.

Call it crule but i mean the guy had been doing it more and more and taking more and more.

Sorry for the story but i basically that does work

Out of curiosity, did the employer ever call the police on him?

Nope... Fired him in front of practically his whole family.
He figured that would be better insult to him than getting the police involved. Plus he got the last batch back anyway.

He goes by the same thing I do...
Which is "revenge is a meal best served cold".

I don't know if any of you guys are still following news about Jessica's supra. But they have found the place that it was taken apart. The place it was found was a stash house it had car parts, radios ect.

The police made a arrest of one person and swore out a warrant for a few more people and they would be arrested supposedly soon. After that happened some of the people were sending her emails threatening to steal her GTR. Haven't heard any more since last week

Why would people steal Hondas and Nissans?

Oh look, let's slag on imports every chance we get

Cars from import manufactures are stolen more because their parts bring a higher value when sold. There's also more of them on the road, meaning the chances they'll be taken over something else is higher. A Camry is like number 2 or 3 on the most stolen vehicles list, it's also the best selling car in America. It's the same reason the F-150 is also like number 4 or 5 on the list.

With modified cars, the reason they're stolen more is because the tuning scene for import cars has more of a demand. If you can steal a car with a few thousand dollars in mods on it, you can flip those parts pretty quick. You also have the added bonus of the selling the already higher priced OEM parts as well. Although with a modified car you're taking a bigger risk because it's easier to spot a heavily modified car, than a stock, red, mid-90's Civic.

Car theft is like any other business in the sense that it's based on profit margins and what gives you the best return.

It's not necessarily the car itself, it's the modifications. Like Joey said. A story if I may share, some years ago my older brother's Mk1 MR2 was stolen, found weeks later with all his modifications removed and torched to the chassis. They don't want the car in most cases. Plus selling a stolen car can be tracked.

Anyone near Connorsville, Indiana, keep an eye out for a set of Powdercoated White Diamond Racing Steelies. A friend just got his stolen from another friend's garage. They look a lot like this, with tires.

I'm just a few miles west of there, so I'll double check any white wheels I see. What size are they, do you know?
