I would say these kids are the worst of them all. Sure, our generation is bad, but nowhere near as bad as this. Not all of us, not even the majority.

Nobody I know, or ever have known, would ever do this. The only time ever that a kid has made a teacher that I knew cry was when the kid threw a tempertantrum in class, (Special-Ed) and threw a desk. The teacher was sensitive, and had already had a bad day.

This is just cruel, uncalled for. I'm glad someone put these kids contact info up. (Anon right?) I hope they have the scariest lives possible until they move out.

Oh, and to the comments saying that all Middle Schoolers are bad, and High School is where they usually get straightened out, think again. Around here, many high-schoolers are near rapist status. The bad ones aren't going to magically turn good. It doesn't happen with apples, and it won't happen with kids either.

Made me think of this.

That's true though, happens with me. Parents switched roles.

Heard on the news before I left the donation total is up over $450,000 now.

This is why paddling and spanking should be brought back to school.

Little Billy has been talking back? Kick his ass.

Little Samantha has been swearing? Kick her ass.

I believe in karma though, so those ass hat kids are gonna get the same in return down the line.

The whole system of corporal punishment is open to abuse IMO. An arsehole teacher can just go looking for excuses to beat up students under this system. 👎

I'm very familiar with situation of the bus monitor. I got heavily bullied for an entire year 8 years ago. It was so bad that one of them once stabbed my back with one of these in the class:

Anyway, I'm not here to tell everyone about my story. I've been so lucky to have moved to a whole different country and I've so far lived a fantastic 7 years here.

What I wanted to say is that bullying is little to not monitored at all. Teachers rarely care about it, which is what I'm led to believe from what I experienced. We informed my teachers with a chat history from MSN back in the days that was still used, as well as how I was treated during the day. But never at any point was any additional action taken apart from "Well I'm sorry for that."

I was disgusted those teachers never took any action at all, but I really hope stories like the one this thread is centered around makes more people aware of how severely people are bullied sometimes.

I've been through such heavy bullying, and God forbid I should experience anything like that ever again in my entire life. It is probably one of the most horrifying things one could go through. It's nothing like a short stab or anything; it's the constant degrading of you as a person every single day throughout an extended period.

That's the thing, whilst this woman receives hundreds if thousands of dollars, there are thousands of others who get nothing.

The only way to fix that is to start a charity for first world problems. That is way worse than both of these IMO.

The fund has passed $600,000

I really hope she doesn't do anything stupid with the money. By that I mean donate it to some cause or charity. Seriously.

People have put the money into that fund because they have been moved by her story and want her to have that money. From the articles I've read she's a widow, hearing impaired, 68 years old and doing this (swear filter) job to bring in lousy money just to get by.

I really hope she uses the funds to retire and find get herself a nice new place and new life away from mongrel kids.

Had this gone on aboard a bus here, some things would have happened.

1. The offenders would have had the living **** beat out of them by the people who actually thought it was rude

2. The BUS DRIVER would have stopped the bus, and called the Transport director, who would have called the police to escort the hooligans off the bus.

3. The video would have never been posted, as the cell phone would have been confiscated.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to being a kid again for moments like that. I know that violence isn't the answer to problems like this... But I would have put my foot so far up his a**.... It's just hard to believe no one stood up for the lady, out of all those kids on the bus.

Same deal with my bus. Normally we don't have a bus monitor though and if we do, if she get's pissed off we listen to her lol

Where I live, the last time I rode the bus none of us talk we just listen to music. It is a bus with 7th to 12th graders but mainly just 7th to 10th graders because people drive. My bus driver is probably in his late 60's and always has an angry face on. Pretty boring. Glad I drive now.

So... everybody who ever rode a school bus should post in this thread now? Is that your point?
