It wouldn't exactly be a fair race now would it considering that the Lancer is more powerful and has four wheel drive!

Lancia has some serious rally history, I'm wondering why they won't continue with that.

I'm too young to know much about Lancia's but the car really has some reputation!!! I heard of that car everywhere the word 'rally' is mentioned.... My fav has to be the Impreza's I started watching the WRC when they were strong.... Though in reality.... I respect and love most of the Rally cars in the WRC....
I think I read about Mini's doing well in the past in Rally events too.... I'm guessing their small sizes were in advantage (or so I remember).. Does anyone consider the Mini as a great Rally Car?

The Mini was a superb rally car back in the '60's, Paddy Hopkirk's victory in Monaco are the stuff of legend for British rally fans. The little Mini (33 EJB) tore the rest of the field apart.

Mini's were still competative until last year when they lost homologation status for international competition, the last ones ran in the Rally GB '03.

I remember that one~ My cousin got a plastic model of that as a present a long time ago.... I assembled it without paint (We didn't really care)...... And my cousin painted it in rainbow colors (it's a she).... I remember reading the discription of the car..... Winning rallies 'n stuff...

you gotta admit, that part of the reason why the cars so good is because of the driver.

I love all Group B rally cars but Lancia Delta S4 is beast and the best. It didn't win championship but Markku Alen was so close in 1986. Peugeot 205 T16 is the most beautiful car and Audi Quattro Sport S1 has the most awesome sound!
