Nice! Post pictures. I made arrangements to take a 427 Shelby Cobra and Porsche 550 Spyder out on track this summer and can't wait.

It's just for testing. Cote is not anyone's go to track, I believe testing here helps as we will all witness the clicking off of faster times and feel the urge to compete. We already know what other track times should be, psychologically we will become complacent when our marks are achieved and not push the cars and get all we can from them.

Let everyone know the specs and regs for the cars. Also a recommendation; race softs melted in testing. I would suggest race mediums as a requirement. Can anyone give me and Dangit some lessons on how to get around Cote'?

Testing will be on race softs to break everyone in with the cars. HP for all cars is 483. A4 to be set at 1080kg. Mercedes 1135kg. Opel's, Vaux's and ABT 1120kg. Final regs. and tire selection will be announced later on.

It is a favorite track of mine as well. I like driving F1 there of course. I'd put it in a series but good Kings usually don't get what they want.

I wouldn't go quite that far. Never could get it hooked up in the turns. Goin Honda.

I'm still playing with the FTO, it just doesn't have the downforce of the Honda to make it stick in the turns and under braking. Best I've managed with the FTO is 34.1 That won't hang with the Honda (unfortunately)

Those weight regs will pretty much kill the Vaux's and a couple others. I have a feeling this will be a one make/car race.

I was able to get them all within .200's of each other at Cote with these regs. I am only worried that the Merc will have to go up to 1140kg. Testing is starting very early so we have plenty of time to iron it out if any car is under or over in performance. Just let me know your findings.

Dangit and I tested these cars as well and had pretty much the same results. We tested at Nurb GP, Spa, Tokyo and Suzuka. There was no one dominate car as some cars were better than others at certain tracks.

I'm going to be taking a few weeks off myself. I'll be missing the MR and the AWD race. I think I'm burnt out and just don't have the desire to put the time in to set up and practice. I'll be back for the FR race at SSR.
