If it's yours, prove it. Take a photo with the bonnet up and a note saying Hello GTP on the engine.

I'm no expert on Chargers I admit that, but do you have any proof of a 1968 White knight chargers sold in Australia (or anywhere for that matter)? Or is this your word of mouth?

Why would it be called "Dodge" Charger then you say "other words chrysler australia also known as valiant..."?? So you saying it wasn't sold in Australia??

Prove some things because myself and the rest of the Forum don't believe anything you say.

I hope you realise that the Chrysler Valiant was a rebadged Plymouth Valiant, which was a cheap econocar throughout it's entire life. It is also the entirely wrong platform for your incorrect year Charger of the future. In addition, the only Chrager based on the Valiant was the Valiant Charger, which was merely a Valiant with a chopped wheelbase; and also didn't go on slae until the 70's.

Right...so how do u explain the E38 charger on bathurst racing in 1967?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

viper are you able to read the badge on the car?....if so quote it to me would you

how many letters spell dodge? im sure its 5...u should be able to count 5 letters...well those letter belive it or not say dodge...the compliance plates say chrysler valian austalia LMT the year is 1968 its refered to on that compliance plate as a
dge chgr wht knt spcl
1968.
clr: white
seating: 3

otherwords it has a single bench seat.

Most likely an imported example, as I'm not entirely sure what you are talking about, and I really know nothing of the Bathurst race, nor it's rule sets. However, the fact remains that the Charger in your "photograph" is not a 1968. The latest model year it could be is a 1967.

Alright, according to Wikipedia, which referenced different Chrysler Australia and Aussi Valiant Charger enthusiast sites, the picture you provided is at the earliest a VH Series Valiant. That series was first produced in 1971. Now you claim that your car was produced in 1968. That year saw the VE Series Valiant, which does NOT look like the car in your picture.

And the evidence against you keeps increasing.

Either prove to us with a hand written sign as requested by numerous other members, or we're going to continue calling bull. Remember, honesty is the best policy.

Oh btw, my reference sites: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Valiant and http://www.fastlane.com.au/Features/Valiant_Australia.htm

That is CLEARLY NOT a Australian Charger! That 66-67 body style was never a Australian car.

Yes please take more pictures, good ones this time with signs, I also want to see this 1100whp+ supercharger.

You want to go back to the misinformed topic you started?

The camera flash was invented slightly before the supercharger.

He was saying the one that raced at Bathurst was likely an import, and calling other people an idiot is a buit sweet coming from someone who has yet to provide any tangible proof of what they are claiming. Someone says the Charger wasn't sold in the trim at that year, you say yes it was, then provide proof, provide a website or something to say it was. You say that is your car, then write a note, lift the bonnet up and place the note on the engine and take a photo of it. It's not hard to do. Please refrain fom personal attacks, we could all sit here and type dirogatory comments about you, you wouldn't like it. You don't like us questioning wether or not that's your car, well prove it is and we won't be questioning it. But your car isn't the only thing you've said that you've been questioned about. You have been proven wrong about turbo's and you've been questioned about the years of production and trim of the Chargers in Australia.

Well I prefer Turbo's... they are imo the most spectacular of the three alternatives (NA,Super charger and well turbo ). A high reving NA car is nice, no doubt about that, but the turbo feels stronger. You get that huge bang at let's say 3000 rpm and that rocks... Supercharger, well, I just don't like it that much, the sound is a bit weird and it is smoother than the turbo...and for me smoother means more "boring".... But that is all personal choice. I don't really like those heavy V8/V10/V12 engines with 5 and more litres. those cars easily tend to be too noseheavy in corners and as I said, they are usually not that spectacular, the power just gets more and more and more when reving up...but as I said, personal opinion....

Look mate, I'm going to be honest.

Coming into a forum with the title supercharger vs turbocharger is perfectly fine.

But when you present a totally biased view for supercharger involving an INDEPTH description of "your" car against a very generalized category, you're not going to get very far in the discussion. So you've done all those mods? Nobody here cares when you're talking about TURBO VS SUPER.

However if you had posted a thread about your car, noone would have cared and congratulated you on it.

Thus I leave you with this.

I just want to state for the record that this is the best thread ever since "Slap him silly."

I also want to state that for the record, turbos suck and so do superchargers. Either use them both or nothing at all :)

The car in his pic is clearly LHD. The position of the rear view mirror proves that - unless his girlfriend/wife/mother has been applying her lipstick ;)

Which means the car will be a US import.

Famine
No, they blow. Duh!

:D

They have to suck before they can blow.. ;)

To end this discussion I leave you with a letter and two numbers, those digits completely annihilate any turbo/super pros..

Thank you, thread ends.
