I had 20 mil in the bank but didn't want to spend it all in one shot...the current grinding strategies are not my cup of tea. LH challenge is more my speed and should be able to get gold times fairly quickly so that is 10 mil right there along with another 20 mil when I get all 10 golds + credit limit set to 100 million. IF ( and it is a BIG if ) I can toss in a couple of diamond times, that is another 1 mil per diamond.

So I spent my 20 mil on the P4 and started the LH challenge to replenish my bank account...:)

Setted can earn 140 million on this challenge in the same time it will take me to earn 6 million! :eek::eek:

A really great 1965 Ford vid about the Shelby cars just before they went to Europe. Great bit from Willow as Shelby pitter patters as Dan Gurney, Ken Miles, and Brock Yates (who designed the Daytona) circulate behind him.
 
This weekend's Tour race will be 60 minutes for 1/2 points. The room will open at 1130 and race at 1300. If you are a season entrant no action is necessary, if not you need to post here to enter (like we might turn away someone who wanders in!). The VLN scoring system will go into effect this weekend . Using that system points are awarded by position in class determined by the number of cars entered in that class.

The month will be broken up into two parts. The first two weekends for the Historic Race Car Series and the Second two weeks for The Tour.

Sundays
1 Classic racing
2 Classic racing to include feature races of 2.5 hours at Le Mans and 2 hours at monza
3 Prelim 1/2 distance race with 1/2 points for the Tour
4 Monthly Tour race.

Wednesday are for fun...

We will create a new thread that will link with this one as the rules and way we race will be the same for the Historic Series.

The main thing is to race - no matter if we do it with old or modern cars - it´s always fun.

First, effective in next racing month, we will divide the month in half. The first half will be for the Historic Racing Series and the second half will be for The Tour.

Second, effective immediately we will utilize the VLN scoring system that awards points based on finishing position in class AND the number of cars in your class. This will enable guys in slower cars to actually have a chance to compete for the overall championship.

Third, effective next racing month G4 cars allowed in the Tour.

I started my update BEFORE I left home with herself for a QUICK chore (gathering pine boughs for Christmas stuff) and its is still downloading....

I'll race this Sunday. Can I switch to a GT3 car for this race? I initially entered with a Gr 2 car, but I enjoy the GT3 cars way more.
