Fun race yesterday with @ZOPPO GT and @racefan88 . When we set up for a cash race my computer timed out and since I was the HOST I assume the room crashed. I found a setting that timed out my machine after 4 hours and changed it to NEVER, but why did it not time out the last time....

Hello Ned
I hope you will earn a lot of money. And congratulation for the 250 GTO!

About the BoP:
If you like to use the BoP, please feel free to do it.
I developed the BoP at the Lago Maggiore GP track. The track is like a shortend
Nürburgring, with hillclimbing, a downhill straight, sharp curves and highspeed
corners as well. Just perfect for testing with less time.

About Lap times:
Race cars: 2:04.000 - reference car: Shelby Daytona Coupe
Sports cars: 2:20.000 - reference car: Alpine A 110 ´70

About Le Mans:
We made no tests at Le Mans yet. Le Mans is special because of the long straights.
Next time we will test the BoP there. If it doesn´t work, we will try it with chicanes.
And in case it doesn´t work too Le Mans will be "out". It makes no sense to create
a BoP for just one race track if you can´t use it at other tracks.

About "fake" race tracks:
Over all it doesn´t matter if we race at "world" or "original" tracks. The main thing
is to race and to have fun. And most of these "fake" tracks are really nice. Except
race tracks like the "Tokio Expressway" and "Broad Bean Raceway" - they are pure
********!

News for the THC:
I added the Greddy Fugo to the sports car class (BoP: 51 / 93), because it based
on a nice looking old Datsun 240 Z and fit the class.

About the Gordini:
It is a hell to drive it, but coolplay (Stefan) is able to handle this crazy thing and won
a race at Spa Franchorchamps with it - against Ferrari Dino 246 GT, Toyota 2000 GT
and Alpine A110. Unbelievable!

About yesterday:
I don´t know what happend with the server? That ****** thing showed me a black
screen everytime when I klicked on lobbys.

See you on a racetrack!

These BOPs are for tracks other than Le Mans which we will test today. Note that all the classes have been compressed into two classes which hold most of the cars in the previous 4 classes

Had great fun today in three hour one off race in a German Room run by Andy. I most likely was the butt of many German comments as I was the only non German except for a Belgian. I ended up.
running the English toaster in Gr4 along with @ZOPPO GT , Andy ( not on GTP), and @Revo 54 .Most likely Rev and I would end up chasing Zoppo who would chase Andy. But the thing about the Ring is that while speed is essential, keeping it between the grass is even more important. Zoppo, while in second, had his screen blank/blue and ended up incurring major damage which basically ended his race but he didn’t quit. Rev and I had a great race that was determined when both of us got damage, but I pitted, and he did not. I then ran him down and then after he pitted I managed to hold him in a constant split. This was my first 3 hour race in many months and it was great but there was only one stop (of eight minutes ). This resulted in a near terminal case of “fanny fatigue”.

@ZOPPO GT and @Revo 54 can you see if the other guys from that group will race with us on Sundays

Guys go to https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/ring-rats-redux.381977/

The Tour is toast (discontinued)...it must have been too complicated, so the Ring Rats, the parent core of The Tour, has been resurrected .

Read the first post on the RR thread and make sure that it all makes sense. While we will continue racing on every Sunday and Wednesday...like we did today...there will two races per month on the Second and last Sunday of the month that will be 90 min or two hours and then at the end of the quarter we will have a "special" 3 hour race. While the core will be the Nordschliefe, we will race another track one a month. I will post a schedule tomorrow so you can see what fits for you.

I hope we all can continue racing there and we can also support Thunderclub and Zoppo's new L Mans 1967 for Classic racing...which in reality we never did. All we did was test...lol.
