I'm planning on getting this one too. I haven't got any of the other dlc yet. I'm too poor:mischievous:

Adjusting the final gear will probably be a start, but I imagine you would get the most out of your cars by retuning them from scratch. Maybe some input from those who have already purchased it as to how they approached tuning...

Ok and dude, trust me, it took me to literally beg for the DLc, because my parents don't like to spend money on stuff like this :). And we can always race on Indy. I really don't want to retune my cars... Argh
 
HONDA CIVIC EK RM 1997
Horsepower= either 390 or 401 hp
Weight Adjustment.
Weight- 988 kg.
Ballast Amount-200kg
Ballast Position- -50.

Transmission (in order please)
Flip Transmission
1st gear-all the way to the left
2nd gear-2.276
3rd gear-1.880
4th gear-all the way to the right
5th gear- all the way to the right
6th gear- all the way to the right
Final- adjust until you get 135 mph in the top right hand corner

NOTES- 1st gear launch

Suspension.
Ride Height- -20 Front +20 Rear.
Spring Rate- 6.0 Front 15.0 Rear.
Dampers (Extension)- 10 front 1 Rear.
Dampers (Compression) 1 Front 10 Rear.
Anti Roll Bars- 4 Front 4 Rear.
Camber- 0.0 Front 0.0 Rear.
Toe- 0.00 Front -1.00 Rear.

NOTES: THIS IS A BASE TUNE, BUT I WAS ABLE TO BEAT MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS TUNE. THE SUSPENSION TUNE IS TOTALLY A BASE TUNE, AND THAT IS FOR YOU TO FIX :)

what do you mean by Flip Transmission??????? thanks
 
Swara in reply to my 8.990 on 400m it's similar tune, for yours maybe extend final so that your top end is 4-5mph higher
 
All I know is that my ACR does the Indy drag in 8.3ish seconds... so I have to extend the final gear? But My 2nd gear is designed to launch and while the car moves, the RPMS are right on redline, with no bouncing

Ok Guys, Like I promised, my base R34 tune. I have a 777 hp R34 from the premium dealership, and I tried out this tune. I must say that the acceleration is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Flip Transmission
1st gear- all the way to the left
2nd gear- 2.800
3rd gear- 2.360
4th gear- all the way to the right
5th gear- all the way to the right
6th gear- all the way to the right
Final gear- adjust to your liking :) I don't remember from the top of my head

Guys, THIS IS A BASE TUNE...

So when you flip your tranny do u push FnlGear all the way to the right and top speed to the left? Also by you shortening the 4th,5th,and 6th gear do you get overtaken, or should I say, "out muscled" before the finish?

Shorter ratios = more acceleration

LSD has no effect. The conclusion was reached by many of us so called "pro's" after many hours of testing. Back in SSR7 though, it had an advantage, but only slight.
 
Ok so I have gotten a request from a person to tune an RX-7 FD '02 for tunnel drag....I have decided to take that challenge. I will post that tune later in the week.
 
I gotta killer 12' GTR tune it was just ment as a quick base tune but it turned out great. The car launches so much faster than other GTR's and get this ABSOLUTELY NO WHEEL SPIN!
